Welcome to the first episode of The Hitchcock Challenge!
Join Kenny, Sam, and Lantz as they watch every movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock in chronological order and break them down in extreme detail. The first ten episodes, covering Hitchcock’s silent career originally premiered (or will premiere) on YouTube as Presenting Alfred Hitchcock. Future episodes will be made with the podcast in mind. And please bear with the sound quality in the early episodes- these were our first attempts at recording and bear some rookie sound mistakes!
This series is about reviving the excitement for these old movies, looking at them through a modern lens and actually challenging ourselves to step away from Netflix and the trash TV we normally love and consume. We do the research on the behind the scenes gossip, break down iconic and less than iconic scenes, give Maguffin review and talk WAY longer than anyone else you'll find online.
Hitchcock history is discussed and we will add relevant research materials to the episode bio’s for your own further reading!
