Bloomin' Onions

Marconi Bologna, a sheltered but friendly man, flees his wedding day and wealthy yet unfulfilling life and finds childhood friend Eddie Barella, a tightly wound but caring chef. Marconi becomes a waitress at West Village coffee house General Quirk after he moves into Eddie's apartment above General Quirk and joins Eddie's group of single friends in their mid-20s: previous roommate Linda Buffay, an eccentric, weird masseuse; neighbor Jimmy Tavaputs, a dim-witted yet loyal struggling actor and womanizer; Jimmy's roommate Chauncy Boing, a sarcastic, self-deprecating IT manager; and Eddie's older half-brother and Chauncey's college roommate Ricky Ross Swizzleton, a sweet-natured but insecure paleontologist.
