Joe Pride began his training career with a small stable at Randwick in 2000 following an association with respected trainer John Size.

Joe Pride spent four years with Size at Randwick before being given the opportunity to establish his own stable when John went to train in Hong Kong.

Moving permanently to Warwick Farm in 2010, Pride has been able to carve out a successful career as a trainer with no family links or background in the industry.

It was in 2005 that Pride first trained a Group 1 winner with Red Oog taking out the 2005 Doomben 10,000.
