Paria Hassouri, MD, is a mother of three and a pediatrician practicing in Los Angeles. She is also a marathoner, transgender rights activist, storyteller, and avid reader. She is a proud Iranian-American and spent most of her formative years in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
