Episode description

Alysia Reiner is an activist, accomplished actress and producer, best known as the “tough as nails” Assistant Warden “Fig” in four seasons of the critically-acclaimed “Orange is the New Black” on Netflix. You might have also caught her on FX's “Better Things”, as well as HBO’s “The Deuce” or maybe your kids heard her voice as Ms. Marmalady in Nick Jr.'s Butter Bean's Cafe among many other projects. But her most important role is the mom of her beautiful 9 year old daughter, Livia.

Hilaria & Daphne talk with Alysia about being a present mom and how she honestly and openly communicates with her daughter, which includes apologizing to her when she (Alysia) makes mistakes. That it's ok to be a mom that doesn't have all the answers, and to support all mom's out there without judgement.
