Episode description

In this conversation I’m speaking to the radiant, earthy, beautiful woman that is Lucette Romy. She is a model, photographer and the creatress of a sustainable, ethically made clothing and lifestyle label and movement called The Wylde. We dive into her whole ethos behind her brand, her creation process, the power of slow fashion and natural fabrics for our environmental footprint and our health. We speak deeply on Lucette’s relationship with health, and her skin especially, and she shares vulnerably about her struggles with acne, and ways that she’s helped to heal the physical and emotional aspects of this along her journey. A big part of our conversation also is about social media, and her journey with putting herself out there online, through the all-consuming, pressured unhealthy “influencer” and “model” image, to really dropping into sharing her most real, authentic essence and artistic expression.
