Full of frustration. The whistle of Chris Foy ends 11 years of Premier League football for Bolton Wanderers. Full of despair. Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings have relegated Norwich. Two British football fans have had enough. The MLS UK Show.
Hello and welcome to another episode of the MLS UK show. I'm Henry Hewitt and as always I'm joined by... here in the uk where sun is shining we get to talk about mls for the first time in ages and it has to be the monday after orlando beat atlanta yes oh i was so desperate to do a podcast this week oh isn't it so sweet um in all seriousness though do you remember there was It just feels so long ago, but there was genuinely a time where...
Orlando had never beaten Atlanta, couldn't get near them. And I remember celebrating, there was a draw once, and I remember celebrating, we like held them to a draw. And I think... You know, yeah, it's great to get a 3-0 win. Could have been a lot more by the looks of it. But I think... The more bizarre thing for me and great thing is just looking at how far Orlando have come under Oscar Pereira.
you know, with this front office kind of strengthening the side a little bit. It's bizarre looking back thinking that Atlanta were so much stronger for such a long period of time. Yeah, thank goodness. Thank goodness. I'm not even gloating. I'm just glad. I'm just pleased. I'm relieved. I long for the days that Atlanta would just beat Orlando, let alone not lose to him.
We're going to talk more about what happened this weekend in MLS very soon. But for the eagle-eared and eagle-eyed amongst you, well, more the eagle-eared, you'd notice that this part of the podcast, if you are listening on your audio provider, is actually being released on Monday or Tuesday or whenever we get around to editing it. The reason is we're going to try something new this week. We're going to try releasing the review part of the podcast where we look back.
at the weekend's action a bit earlier in your podcast feeds and then the news slash preview part we'll be releasing later in the week however if you are watching this on youtube you will get it all on about Thursday. So this will mean nothing to you. So I guess if we continue to do this in the future, if you follow us on your podcast provider, then you will get...
the first part slightly earlier in the week. But we've just thought we'd play around a bit earlier, didn't we? We'd try something new. Yeah, it's nice to kind of dive in on a Monday and just talk about MLS when it's all still fresh and you kind of want to... hear us talk a little bit more in depth about what's going on at the weekend, which we can do now. And then later in the week, we can get stuck into what's coming up in the following weekend. So I'm here for this. I like it.
yeah and yes totally nothing to do with the fact that i'm on holiday on wednesday But moving on. Right, MLS. It was another fantastic weekend of action. We've not been here for a few weeks, so we've got a lot to cover. Some interesting takes and some interesting... Things have been happening in the last few weeks. But I tell you what, let's start off with a game that kicked us off the weekend's action. And that was FC Cincinnati 2, SKC 1. SKC still getting used.
to being without peter vermice and fc cincinnati well they've just been smashing it so elliot where would you like to start on this one Well, I think you go into the game. I love that first game on a Saturday, especially because it's on nice and early. It's 7.30 kickoff here in the UK. I had my dinner and my wife actually sat on the sofa and watched it with me, which was novel, to be honest. We put our daughter to bed and watched some MLS together.
romantic isn't it um and uh you look at the game and you think okay well Sporting KC have been in trouble this year and the last few years, to be honest with you. And you look at FC Cincinnati and think, well, they've won their last four games on the bounce. So it's a formality, this. SKC were brilliant. SKC really did not allow FC Cincinnati to play and I really enjoyed that. It was a really, really good start to the weekend when you kind of expected...
Cincy to dominate possession, dominate passing. And SKC kind of... set up their stall and to be honest It's kind of what happened last night with Vancouver as well, which we'll get on to. So yeah, not the matchup we expected, which was nice. It was. Kevin Denke scoring again, scoring two goals. That's three and two now and it puts him for six.
of the season. I mean, that second goal was an incredible finish, the bicycle kick, but he, more than some others, has really hit the ground running, hasn't he, in MLS and the fact that Evander's scored six as well. Cincinnati, they've got their attacking line. We expected a lot from them and the delivery. Yeah, Evander is top five in the league for shots on target. So he's a really safe bet to...
to get a few shots on target each game, which of course gives you a fantastic chance. He's a fantastic player, creates so many chances, but gets his shots off as well. So never surprised to see him on the score sheet. To be honest with you, Oriano as well, 15 shots on target in the league this year. He's only played eight games, eight times for Cincinnati. Really, really fantastic performance from him as well.
I like the Cincy roster. I think they've, again, like Orlando, they've come a long way since the days where they were picking up the wood and the spoon. when they first joined the league. And I think you see them at home and you think they're going to be really difficult to beat in this game. And even though they didn't have the rub of the green for most of it... they still found a way to grind out a result and it's impressive.
It is, yeah. They've won the last five games and noticed that I think each of those five games, they've actually only won by one goal, which shows that they have the ability to grind out the results. I mean, some of them, to be fair, since he probably should have won by more goals, but... They are winning by one. I mean, the fans and me as well, I'd like to see Cincy proper go for it.
try and win by quite a few more. We'll have to wait till they play Atlanta for them to do that. But, you know, it does show that they are scoring goals there. You know, they've just started the season so well. And yeah, it's good to see. I think Cincy are one of the big hitters in the East that can challenge Miami. You know, because let's face it, that's what we're looking at in the East is who is going to challenge Miami. And at the moment...
since you've started the best. Yeah, absolutely. Consistency. And I think if you look at the supporters' shield, I'm actually looking at, let's take a look at the Eastern Conference rather than the supporters' shield. Cincinnati and Columbus, you know, Ohio sitting pretty at the top and actually really pushing each other points per game. Almost exactly the same. 2.1 for Columbus, 2.2 for Cincinnati, seven wins for Cincy, six for Columbus.
Columbus have had a couple more ties, draws, than Cincy. But they're leading the way by a long shot. Because I think Orlando have had a decent start to the season. I think both the New York sides have had a decent start. I've watched a lot of Nashville, and they're all in and around there, but Orlando already... seven, eight points off the top spot. So Cincinnati really...
Really pushing everyone early doors, which is good. Stretching their legs early doors after 10 games. Yeah, yeah. And just a note on SKC, obviously still getting used to life without Peter Vermees. They're still adjusting. They've had some good results. They beat San Jose 5-3. Last week, they seem to be scoring goals and conceding them. So, you know, I'm sure SKC would like to sort out that head coach as soon as possible. You know, the... Interim, he's won two and lost two.
Whether that's enough form to take him forward and give him a job or whether they're going to look for someone else, we'll have to wait and see. Well, SKC, I think the comforting stat for you here is that If you'd have told SKC that they'd have won two more games than the reigning MLS champs after 10 matches, you'd be pretty satisfied. Yeah, and for anyone who doesn't know, that's a bit of a... A bit of a teaser for who we're going to talk about later on in the show and defeat yet again.
You looked there at the Eastern Conference and down in third is Philadelphia Union. Two 3-0 victories in a row. The latest one against DC United on Saturday evening. um and typer ebo didn't score so they're sharing the goals about Yeah, well, it's bizarre because I've watched quite a bit of Philly this year and I haven't seen him score. I haven't seen him have many shots. So when you look at the standings and you see how much he's helped Philly to...
third place in the Eastern Conference. It's a little bit baffling, but... Fantastic start. Six wins from 10 games for Philly. Baribo, clearly, clearly a huge talent, going to be instrumental for them. It's Baribo versus Evander, I feel, at the top of the year. And it's nice for Philly as well. Obviously, Jim Curtin left at the end of last season. And, you know, it's all new. It's all fresh. And as we've seen with plenty of other clubs within MLS and the wider footballing sort of league.
that when you have a manager who's there for a long time when you make that change Sometimes it can be fresh and exciting and you can do well, like Philly are doing. Most of the time, though, you do tend to get a bit of a bleak sort of period, a period of getting used to the new regime. So it's good for Philly that they've not got that.
um dc united i mean you talk about bleak these bleak and dc united seem to go hand in hand over the last few years obviously a loss again at the weekend and this is now four out of the last five they've lost Yeah, it's the same old, isn't it, for DC United this season so far? Well, they've lost half their game. so far which is not great playoff form uh you want to be doing a little bit a little bit better than that the the thing for me is
How can the rest of the team step up? Because you've got Ben Teke, who was, of course, a megastar last year, not just for DC United, but in MLS, top goalscorer. And already in MLS in 2025, he leads, he's played nine games. He's had 21 shots on targets, the most in the league. Mukata is the only one who's close with 19.
And I think he obviously he didn't play at the weekend either. So they missed Benteke. But it's like even when he plays, it's not enough because the rest of the team are not pulling together. They're not gelling. They're not doing their job. But there have been signs for that last season. It's like this hasn't been addressed. This hasn't been fixed. And that's the concern for me. Yeah. And I don't think it's going to be fixed anytime soon because DC United have shown in the last few years.
Apart from Benteke, the rest of the decisions they've made tend to be... disappointing and don't work out Right, speaking of not working out, let's move on to the next game we're going to talk about. And unfortunately for me, we mentioned it before, Orlando 3, Atlanta 0. Philadelphia have won the last two games 3-0. Of course, Atlanta have lost the last two games. 3-0. And I watched the wrap-up the other day and Taylor Twelman called Atlanta his biggest disappointment of a season, even more.
than la galaxy um you know i think that tells us everything so far But before we talk about the negative, Elliot, let's talk about the positive. Orlando City, another win, another game where you didn't concede either. Yeah, this has been what's really impressive for me. We talked about the defence for Orlando. I haven't felt, and I know... a lot of Orlando fans haven't felt like
The defence has really been the same since Antonio Carlos left. And I know, stop going on about it. It was the year before last. I know. But that's what's been missing. It's been Jansen and Schlegel at centre-back. Schlegel... a fan favourite but mainly for playing in goal in the penalty shoot not particularly for his defensive acumen. But it's looking like it's starting to gel. And Alex Freeman, what a player, by the way, popped in at right back a couple of months ago.
I think it was on the 1st of March. And since then... No looking back. A real, real talent. Chips in with goals as well. Incredible. So hugely, hugely impressed with him. And I think he could be the first test for MLS. You know, we talked about... the new rules. to try and keep players in MLS. financial rules in place so that European clubs aren't just swooping in. MLS clubs have got a bit of power to try and keep players.
This is going to be a big test for Orlando and these new rules early doors because can Orlando hang on to him? There is going to be an incredible amount of interest, especially as the season in Europe comes to a close in the next couple of weeks. but yeah really good start for Orlando City they don't concede goals which is fantastic And Atlanta, we sat here on this podcast early doors this season and we thought, yeah, this is going to be big.
Big money signings. You know, you're bringing in a huge striker from Middlesbrough. You're bringing in Miggie Almiron back to Atlanta. And it's just not working. Two wins. Two wins in 10 games. I know. It's not good enough, is it? And now we ask the question because of these new rules.
within MLS, you know, the fact that clubs are spending more money and building the rosters in slightly different ways, does this add pressure onto head coaches? Because MLS have probably given head coaches a bit more time than what... other leagues do because of the way it's run because of the the fact that there's no relegation Whereas, you know, Atlanta have spent a lot of money in the closed season and Ronnie Dyler is not.
It's not working, is it? And, you know, we said in pre-season, we said that Atlanta will be the entertainers this year. They'll win all the home games and lose all their away games. They'll score goals, but not keep them out at the other end. And we, well, we're half right in the fact that they're not winning away and they're not keeping goals out at the other end. However, the entertainers bit is not quite happening, is it? So, yeah, very disappointing.
it's the worst start in atlanta's history and i think that speaks volumes and considering that this was probably the most excited as an atlanta fan i've been going into a season for a few years. It's just really disappointing. Yeah, and looking through Atlantis, Stats, just trying to kind of pinpoint where the issues are. Almiron, two goal involvements so far in 10 games. I don't know what you're kind of, as an Atlanta fan, what sort of level are you expecting, you know, in the first 10 games?
two assists for Almiron. Is that enough? I wouldn't have expected Sabah to have more, if I'm honest. And, you know, I'm looking at players like Brooks Lennon, who, you know, is a huge talent. One assist. I want the ball to Latty Latmore. Only 12 shots on target in nine games. All right, it's more than a shot a game, but... This is a player you played big money for who's been up against defences who are not that strong.
It's been disappointing for me from Atlanta. They're not hitting the levels yet, but the talent is there. So you immediately look to the manager and the manager's won MLS Cup. Exactly. Yeah, we expect more. And I think...
when you're looking at the table and you're looking at the likes of Nashville and Charlotte, who were in fourth and sixth. Yeah, I don't think as an Atlanta fan, you could say, why aren't we there? You'd look at Atlanta's players, you look at the set up and think, you know, okay, at the back.
you know if you look at those teams and then even in the west you're looking at what's going on there and you've got you know, San Diego have just started, they're in seventh, Colorado fifth, Minnesota fourth, Austin third, Portland, who we'll talk about later, somehow managed to get themselves into second, you know. You would expect Atlanta to be doing similar things and it's just not happened. And this is the problem. This is where Atlanta have found themselves the last few years.
I know last year they did okay in the playoffs in the end, but they had to get in on the last game. And if you don't have a good start, you're continuously chasing your tail. And Atlanta do have firepower up front and you'd think eventually they will score goals. But you don't want to leave it too late. You don't want the season to be over before it's begun. No, absolutely. And you start to look at Atlanta down in 12th. Already five points off the playoff line, which
It's not great. And you're sandwiched in between DC and Chicago, two sides who we know are not good. And obviously Toronto and Montreal have been setting new levels of terrible. So Atlanta, they are a real surprise down there. Right, let's move on. I'm getting depressed talking about that a lot. No, I think it's great. Just to dig in more into this. Let's briefly talk about Charlotte FC. They've lost to New England Revolution.
come from nowhere new england revolution they've won the last three so well done to them i want to talk about this wilfred zahar statement have you seen this he released this on snapchat basically Some of the fans have started having a go at him because of certain things on the pitch. And he's come out and basically said that...
Whatever he does, he's not going to win. If we lose, it's Saha's fault. If I dribble, I'm selfish. If I keep it simple, I'm not doing what I'm being paid to do. If I shoot, I should have passed. If I pass, I should finish my chances. he then goes on uh and swears so i won't continue but um For me, Wilfred Zaha, we found this, I mean, I have obviously watched him here and I've watched him play for Crystal Palace and very briefly for Man United.
Zaha tends to be the best player in the squad where he goes, apart from Man United and that didn't work out. What do you make of his statement? Because to me, it's just someone who's thrown his toys out the pram a little bit, isn't happy with some of the reaction by some of the fans.
when actually I'd have just stayed quiet and just done you talking on the pitch. Yeah, I find this interesting. Obviously, there's so many teams now in MLS. You just simply, you can watch the highlights, but you cannot watch. And so I've watched Charlotte maybe three times, I think, this season. And it's interesting because I have been disappointed with Zaha. He scored his first goal in one of the games that I watched. And then...
I was disappointed to see, I think it was the Colorado game. They play Colorado and he didn't take his man on once. He did not once take his man on. And I didn't say anything because I thought, that's that's an off that's an off game i'm like who am i to judge wolf zaha like um and i didn't mention it on on the pod at all So I'm interested to see now that he's being criticized for that. So it's obviously been a bit of a theme that he hasn't been...
Is he doing his job? Like, I don't mind. You're an out-and-out winger with incredible skill. If you lose the ball... if you lose the ball 25% of the time that you're dribbling I don't mind that Take the risk. Go for it. It's so entertaining. We all love seeing old-fashioned football where your wingers are beating their men and driving towards goal. And I haven't seen that from Zaha yet.
I'm going to be honest and say, well, I think I understand why the fans might be a bit disappointed. All right, you shouldn't be getting on players' backs and they shouldn't have to be posting on Snapchat. um why is he 12 um but but yeah i i understand i think i understand the the criticism to be honest um
Yeah, Zaha's the type of guy who I don't think he's going to go into his shell. I think he'll try and prove people wrong and it wouldn't surprise me if in the next game he scores a few goals and it's all harmonious again. um right let's move on to um another game let's talk we're going to talk you know just in a moment about the vancouver minnesota game but before we do we have to mention this nashville seven
Chicago too. BJ Callahan playing against Greg Berhalter. Of course, he was Greg Berhalter's assistant and he's just... Well, the, uh, the students has beaten the teacher and that may be disrespectful to BJ Callahan, but seven two. you can always expect that Chicago will get a thumping at some point, but I didn't expect this. No, it's, I mean,
Yeah, would I have predicted Nashville to win? Absolutely. Would I have predicted that scoreline? Really, really not. And I can't decide, I still haven't decided whether it's... Nashville who are just blowing them out of the water or Chicago really, really that terrible. But I mean, I've told you on the last episode, I've really enjoyed watching Nashville.
Both Mukherjee and Surajee are a joy to watch. They both, you know, they get forward. They're so positive. They've each played every single game. And seeing the amount of shots that they get away, you know, and to be honest with you, the shot on target success rate as well, both of them really are. carrying nashville um it's a good side but they are up there for a reason and it is because of muqatar and surrey
and I love watching both of them. Nashville have been great to watch this year, and that scoreline says it all. Yeah, well, Surridge has now scored six this season. He got 12 last season, so he's half the way there. He's got 10 games, and he played 28 last year. I mean, obviously, the vast majority of those goals came in this game as he scored four. But yeah, for me...
I think it was more Chicago being poor. Nashville played very well, but I mean, some of the goals, the seventh goal was a joke. Did you see where played over the top and Jack Elliott's running back. So he's running onto the ball. Chris Brady didn't even, he sort of went back and then never came out of it towards the ball. And Jack Elliott is actually gesturing to him like, come out, come to the ball. And he's just, well, so he just ran onto it.
and put it past him. So I think that, for me, summed up the performance for Chicago. Kuyper's still got his goal, so he's now top goalscorer in MLS. So he got one of the two, and Berhalter has apologised. to Chicago fans who unsurprisingly now have conceded the joint worst in the East with DC United. Yeah, that's one Berhalter, but the other one's doing pretty good. What a finish this was. Berhalter...
Junior, of course, Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder. Any player who plays for Vancouver Whitecaps cannot do anything wrong at the moment. 0-0, they rested a lot of players. Of course, they brought a few on and that changed the game and they soon went 3-0 up. What a story this is with Vancouver. We're going to talk more about what happened in the Champions Cup later on, but yeah, what a performance this was in the second half to not only...
Get in front, but fully take control of a game. I had a Minnesota who were a good, decent team. It's not like they're playing an Atlanta or an LA Galaxy. Yeah, Minnesota have been good this year. Watched them a couple of times and been really impressed. Good forward line. Two up top as well. Really good old school, which is nice. But ultimately, Vancouver turned up with...
A weak side, heavy rotation, really not a lot of MLS experience. Brian White, of course, already got six goals this season in eight appearances. He was nowhere to be seen. And to be honest with you, yeah, Berhalter scores a banger to get things off the ground after a drab first half. Don't get me wrong, Vancouver will have been happy to just go there, shut up shop. get the nil-nil, get the point, and return home again. But it turns out that they came to play.
And I think they're just well-drilled. I think you can bring in these players who haven't got a lot of minutes, but they've been training, they know the plan, and they executed the plan perfectly. Nelson, of course, started and was probably the... most experienced player started on the left wing drifted over to the right and it just wasn't really happening for them in the first half but
Berhalter gets the game underway and then bang goal after goal after goal and it was great to watch and I don't think anyone really expected Vancouver there needs to be some kind of in-depth study done because they're playing all of these games they're rotating and still no one can touch them No, well, as I said, it's a fairy tale. Fairy tale in Vancouver and long may it continue.
Vancouver have now scored, well, they're averaging two goals a game and they conceded the giant least with New England Revolution in seven. This game, however, did end on a bit of a sour note. Of course, Emmanuel Sabi not happy with what has been said on the pitch to him. Now, as we speak on Monday afternoon here in the UK, Monday morning in the States and Canada, obviously nothing has come out about this specifically yet. We just know it was something that breaches the...
the rules within MLS. I think we can all imagine what it might be. And it's just a shame that this game ended on such a sour note, isn't it, Elliot? Because as you say, it was a great second half and a great performance for Vancouver. You know, and it's just ended in a, yeah, just a bit of a sour note. Yeah, and it was a tasty game. You know, there was not a lot of free-flowing football in the first half. There was a lot of injuries. There was a lot of fouls. It did have a bit of a bite to it.
So a sour note at the end, not surprised. However, on that specific note, very disappointing to see. Yeah, hopefully it all gets resolved whichever way, you know, by MLS. And yeah, it's something that we don't want to see continuing in the league. Right, let's move on then to our final game. But before we talk about that, I just need to reference the Inter-Miami.
lost their first game of the season at home to FC Dallas 4-3. They were 3-1 up. Again, just like Vancouver, a depleted Miami team, like some Messi and Suarez on the bench. They went 3-1 up and then lost the game 4-3. Dallas, though, best away record. um before this weekend so that's continued and um yeah miami this is what it's like elliot miami now dropping down to about fifth is it in the league and they've lost the first game
The wheels are coming off. We'll talk about the Champions Cup later on. Vancouver have a team to watch. Miami are yesterday's news. Yeah, it's bizarre, isn't it? I'm really enjoying Vancouver. I think we've all got a bit of a soft spot for Vancouver. Lovely stadium. played great football, great rise over the last couple of years. And that rise has been at the same time as everyone's been talking about Miami. Yeah. And before people start commenting, of course, I speak in Jeff.
i am not saying miami are over i as a reference they did have a depleted team Right, let's talk about our last game for what happened this weekend. And LA Galaxy's poor form continues. However... Portland Timbers. We have been known on this podcast to basically say why is Phil Neville in a job? They always seem to lose. They're always playing poorly. Portland...
need to do far better and we take a few weeks off, come back and Portland are in second in the West. Yeah, they did play LA Galaxy though, who despite being MLS Cup champions... are horrifically bad i don't know i what is happening what is going on they haven't won a game this season in 10 attempts, conceding four at home. is never good, no matter what situation you're in. Christian Ramirez gets on the score sheet. Marco Reus as well, of course.
We saw a certain French striker finally get a goal in MLS. um in uh in los angeles the other the other day and it feels like we've been waiting for la galaxy to kick in And it's just not happening. No, it's not. Marco Rice did score, so hopefully that'll, you know, push him on now and we'll see the real Marco Rice because I think he's not...
He's disappointed so far in his time in MLS. But again, so have all of LA Galaxy's players. And, you know, we give them some leeway at the start. They had a few injuries. And there's, you know, Ricky Puget is still out. We've still got... you know, plays adjusting to coming back. Pancel had an excellent assist for Ramirez in this game, but...
It's just not good enough for LA Galaxy, who find themselves 15th bottom, joint bottom with Montreal in the supporters' shield standings, and Montreal have played all but one of their games away from home. And when you'd say that LA Galaxy now four points off SKC, that really does sum up how poor they've been. Yeah, it's baffling and I can't really... I can't really put my finger on it. I've watched quite a bit of Galaxy this year, mainly out of intrigue. You know, what is going wrong?
You think, well, not loads, because they scored two goals at home in a matter of minutes, to be honest with you. Admittedly, they were already 3-0 down at the time. But you can't be conceding four goals at home. And I sort of look on paper and think, well, the defence isn't that bad. There's a lot of experience with Yoshida as well.
What's going on with LA Galaxy? And the goalkeepers as well have been in a lot of rotation. I don't think there's any idea on who the main goalkeeper is going to be for Galaxy. Yeah, and to be honest with you, now, if they kicked into form now... What are they going to achieve? They're so far adrift already. Yeah, yes. So we'll wait and see if Galaxy can push on. But let's talk about a team who Galaxy will be looking at enviously in Portland Timbers, who are now...
Well, they've fired up the league. They're suddenly looking like a great team to watch. They're scoring goals. They've scored the same amount as Vancouver. You know, following a 3-3 draw against LAFC last week, they've now scored four against the other.
la team in la galaxy um elliot what do you make of portland timbers phil neville's portland timbers phil neville's portland timbers keeping pace with phil neville's former side into miami of course Just below them in the table, level on points, which is wild. They've played a game more, but still. I don't think anyone had Portland keeping pace with Miami at this early stage. And yeah, didn't have the best of starts either. So recent forms really, really put them up there.
In terms of the Western Conference, you know, Vancouver. Vancouver are by far and away the best side. But Portland, from nowhere. are the ones that are pushing them. They are, yeah. So that's our roundup of what's happened this weekend in MLS, just to run through the other results. Toronto 0, NYCFC 1, New York Red Bulls 1, Montreal 0. uh columbus two san jose one san diego one rsl three uh houston two austin nil austin at the moment third in the west so a bit of a surprise there
Let's see. Colorado won. Seattle won. And LAFC two. St. Louis two. Buanga in that game. Scored two. Had a chance to score a third. Well, a second at the time. from the penalty spot and missed. But St. Louis, I've finally scored more than one in a game. So hopefully for the neutral's sake, they can start kicking on now and scoring more goals because... considering them and then New England Revolution haven't scored many and haven't conceded many. So they're the boring teams at the moment.
It's okay to be boring because Orlando have had quite a few nil-nils and then started smashing it. A couple of back-to-back three-nil victories. So there's still hope. Right. Well, there we go. That's our review of what happened this weekend in MLS. So join us later in the week, probably Thursday, as we go through some of the biggest news stories. and preview this weekend's action. It's something new we're trying. So we're splitting the podcast into two and we'll see how it goes.
Right. So that's been this episode. Please, if you are listening on a podcast provider, assuming that you are, it could be Apple, it could be Spotify or wherever. If you've enjoyed this episode, then please leave us a rating and a review. But Elliot, if you are going to leave us a rating, there's one rule and one rule only. Five stars only. I would say LA Galaxy style, but that...
I don't think they're getting any stars anytime soon. Just to peer behind the curtain, this part of the podcast will just go on the audio bit. And Elliot still looks at the camera and give five fingers up. This is like being back on the radio. So I can just do this.
You don't want to know what he's just done. Right. We'll be back later in the week. But until then, I've been Henry Hewitt. Right. I'm not going to look at the camera. And I've been Elliot Holman. I'm still going to say it, but not do the hand action. See ya. He's waving. This podcast is part of the Sports Social Podcast Network.
