SUNDAY SALAD offers THREE hysterical stories from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle -- the first, 'A Judicial Circus' from 1881, is actually an unsigned news article from the Eagle which seems, from every inclination, to be by Stanley Huntley himself. The second story, 'The Value of Truth, from the same edition of the Eagle, comes from Huntley's 'Salad' column, and also deals with crazy doings in a Brooklyn court. Finally, we offer a tale of the Spoopendyke family discovering Huntley's best-selling 1881 book about them in the 1882 tale 'Opposed to Publicity.'
This is one of the best episodes we have ever done!
