This is podcast legend Adam Davidson, I'm talking.

So John Cipher and Jerry o'sha, what did you guys do for a living?

Speaker 3

We were legends in the CIA.

Speaker 1

You were legends in the CIA, at least in our own minds.

Speaker 2

So we worked in the CIA for thirty plus years trying to recruit and run spies around the world.

Speaker 4

We deal with a lot of conspiracy theories inside of the agency, and there are actual conspiracies.

Speaker 1

What is mission implausible?

Speaker 3

We're looking at conspiracies and conspiracy theories from a conspiratorial mindset.

Speaker 2

Each episode will we take a conspiracy and deconstruct it, see where it's coming from, and in the process tell a little bit about our backgrounds and how conspiracies fit into the work we did in our secret work.

And we're going to have a lot of fun doing it.

So what are people going to get out of this show?

Speaker 2

We want to use our experience and some of the stories that we know from the inside to help people understand some of the things that they've been told or they've read about over the years.

But I think it's also important because increasingly into the future, other governments Russians, Chinese are going to be using conspiracy theories against us, and I think it's really important to the health of our democracy. The people are able to recognize conspiracies which exist, conspiracy theories which don't, and how to tell the difference between them.
