Episode description

When NASA looked to measure the creative potential of its engineers, it developed a test to identify creativity and divergent thinking. The results showed that only 2% of those who took the test passed at the creative genius level.

This same test was given to a group of 4 and 5-year-olds, and the results were shocking. An astounding 98% of these children were rated creative geniuses.

What do young children have that NASA engineers don’t? And what can we learn from existing in a childlike state of play? In this episode, Albert and Steph discuss this study, these questions, and their takes on the education system.
