Episode description

After just renovating my house and experiencing major delays and increased costs due to supply chain impacts, I’m exhausted and ready for this to end.

Unfortunately, with the huge backlog of containers waiting to be unloaded at the Port of Los Angeles, major mudslides closing down critical highways, and labor shortages, I don’t anticipate this crisis ending anytime soon.

The good news is there’s lots of opportunity if you put your investor hat on. Learn about what’s happening at all points of the supply chain and where you can benefit from the mayhem.

In this episode I breakdown:

1:35 - What is a Supply Chain

3:10 - The Root Cause

4:05  - What’s Happening Now

8:45 - The Container Shortage

11:35 - A Tik Tok Case Study

16:00 - Why Small Companies are Hit the Hardest

18:27 - Port of Los Angeles

21:30 - The Trucking Industry

24:40 - Put Your Investor Hat On
