Amazing, and my subscription numbers which kept doing this weird thing is I was down like 20 subscribers and now I'm up like 20. Why? Well, you put a brown person in charge of YouTube and suddenly it's Weird stuff happens. You know a lot of people said
during the what was her name? Kenny bitty bitty, whatever her name was, who was running YouTube for all those years and you know, it was very bad. It was censorship and people getting canceled and all that stuff and we're gonna get to that, you know, the announcements out of YouTube. We're gonna listen to Carl Benjamin, explain it, and pipe
in on those. But even, but the thing is, at least YouTube worked at that point, like, I had visibility people could find the channel, the channel, you know, had gross and many people in the, in the chat of me over those years were, yeah, be careful what you said, but as long as you're careful what you said, you could actually have, you know, growth and prosperity of some sort. And then this year that when Right in the toilet. No idea why.
I never got a channel strike. Never had any problems with this and didn't know why. And then just recently, a lot of big YouTube channels were like, hey, our views, and visibility are all screwed up. What's going on with that? And YouTube was like, have you tried changing your thumbnails around? Have you tried? It's this is I'm not joking if you a petition YouTube and go on their little automatic chat and go, why is this happening?
They're responses try better thumbnails. try better titles and stuff and you're like, well, nothing else has changed. Why did My Oh My Views? Just tanked out. No explanation ever. That's okay. That's not how operates within the Christian frame at all. And and it's certainly doesn't mean that just because I forgive you that I can't also seek Justice. From any wrongs you've done. Or if you've broken laws or you've done something horrible like assassinate, you know,
loved one. Yeah, we're going to see Justice. That doesn't prohibit. It it just means that I'm when she's saying that it means I'm she's not going to. She's not going to carry hate her heart for this this for this killer. Alleged killer Or whoever did it? And that frees her. That's the part. That's the purpose of it. Where is the catharsis in it all violence? Or let's say all conflict begs for a cathartic resolution. It wants it. That's the the end result of conflict. Usually results in a resolution. If it's unresolved, it continues and attack sizes and becomes cancerous basically in the body
of the, of the people. this is kind of what is been the the geopolitical strategy of the British and many others of creating these unresolvable conflicts within countries within people groups, within Nations, Etc, And as long as it can be unresolved. Well then. It continues and gets worse and gets worse and worse and worse than the resentments grow. And you see now in the west where you're not allowed to, if you're part of one group, you're not allowed to seek Justice, a resolution.
So, someone can do wrong to you. And if you bring it up, hey, these people are doing bad things. They come after you, how dare you pointed out. We're seeing this happening over the UK. It can't have that. Over time, it will build resentment within the people who are being falsely, accused or who are Seeking Justice and seeking resolution seeking catharsis and bring being denied. It. They will seek catharsis in other ways. And that eventually becomes

There are people who are using this, to push you to position where you're going to have to commit. And I'm more worried about the younger Generations, young men because young men, 18 and or, you know, teenage boys all the way up to about 25.
So our biological wmds. You take an Angry Young Man. who's been nine, catharsis Phyllis head, full and ideology, or A bunch of anger. He's got that anger and he wants to direct it somewhere. So they're this is their official statement. We've had a lot of questions about pathway back to YouTube for some terminated creators to set up a new channel.
This will be a limited pilot project that will be available to a subset of creators. In addition to those channels terminated for policies that have been depreciated more to come. It's if you weren't following a certain narrative or speaking of things in even the counter narrative in the ways, they wanted to, they get rid of you. It was, it's the biggest blunder. I think of the left and I understand why they do it because all these things move

Chase it away. Say that Jesus prayed like get rid of it. But if a thought stays around long enough, you give it a landing pad becomes out of his comes out of his comes. Vocalized start saying the violence, you start saying the thought. Now. Granted, that still better in some ways than doing the thing that you're saying. Whatever that thing is. But as soon as it gets to the
lips, It's on a pathway to become part of the body. so, for the thought to, to the, to the word, to the action, So you trace it right back to the thought. Now, Obviously. You're going to have thoughts, you're going to reactions. You're fed these things. These narratives, that's why the show list. This show exists is to take these narratives and break them apart and take a look at them. Because quite often when you do
that. Now, I've been accused of maybe over complicating things, but oftentimes The Narrative is being presented to you. Is that dialectic right? Good guy, bad guy. You're allowed to sing these two things. You know, two State Solutions. You never allowed to think of a third option. Why is that Why is there? No third option. Why is there no Trinity ever present in these narratives ever? It's one or two, right? The issue really is and what is right, actually, right?
you know, YouTube censoring people because you're not saying something factually right based on the information that they're going, they're running with It's about truth. Truth, it has very little sometimes to do with the facts. Because facts can be modified or incomplete or manipulated or being used as weapon is a gradual. The truth. Can be observed because it's actionable. When you're standing in truth in your applying the truth settling, the other things
happen. That are good and beautiful and true. They stand the test of time. And I'd be holding to facts. Or to interpretations. This is why when in Christianity, generally speaking, but especially with Orthodoxy, we believe the truth is a person that's a person's Christ. That's logos incarnate. So we can follow the truth, we can model the truth. We can be part of the truth. We can even buy the truth, body and body, and blood flushing
blood. That's a massive advantage that again you can start to see it in Civilization. Do these civilizations? Go forward, do they stand to the stand? The test of time? Can they be Destroyed in some ways or die or be taken over or, you know, bad things happen to them, and can they be reborn over time? Yes. It's a countdown. I believe until Constantinople is a Christian country again or a country Christian City. That turkey will become Christian.

So This is not honestly actually meant as an indictment of Christianity. unless it is one right and less, it's it holds and This forgiveness intolerance that's happening.
Increasingly over the last really over the last 30 years, but going back a century plus has led to the place where children's genitals are being mutilated and cut off. Where our countries are being flooded with people who hate us and are murdering poor young Refugee girls on the bus. Where in Europe, you know, thousands upon thousands, tens of thousands of women are being raped in the criminals are being
led into this treat. All under Christianity, all under quote unquote, Christian countries. Now, is it Christians behind that? Absolutely not. Right and anybody who would think that they're that it is is but it's this Christian tolerance and forgiveness. Well. Since he's bringing it up, let's talk about this for a little
bit. and the show title what does it mean for forgive us our trespasses and those who trespass against us It's in the Lord's Prayer. Our Father, for those who don't know, that's Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Give us his day or daily bread and forgive us, our trespasses as those as we forgive those who trespass against us, And lead us, not in temptation, but
delivers from the evil one. As some variations on that sometimes with trespasses, you'll see some versions. I think in my prayer book here, Everyone get one of those it's as deaths instead of trespasses. It's more modern idea. But essentially the the concept here is that a trespass is is willful a willful sin. So something that you're doing on your almost doing on purpose, maybe just by yourself to certain degree but something preventable. A deliberate lie. I'd say right or misdeed.
And those who would trespass against us, those who are doing those things to us or against God. So, the idea really here is How to be in communion. A trespass is in this context. You say is if the entirety of the Christian of a Christian's life, Is trying to be with trying to be in communion with God. Through our both, our faith and our works, and our acts and our rituals. Than anything that breaks, this breaks that communion. Is a trespass in the sense.
A debt that must be repaid that we must bring ourselves back into communion. So we're talking about, let's say, on a grander scheme. forgive us, our trespasses, the things that we've done and those who trespass against us We're trying to. Trying to live with other people. You know, you are Society, you are a culture. And you're trying to live with other people who, you know, sometimes do bad things. You know, even good Christians can do bad things.
It's not a you don't get out of you don't get out of the responsibility. These things this is oftentimes, and, you know, My critique of the Protestants, especially. Is that this idea of the baptism being the remission of all sins and then that's it. You're good. You get don't to the water and you're now you're you're sinless going your way. And yeah you might do some bad things here and there but you say a prayer and you're good,
right? Your sins have been washed away just in that one, baptism an Orthodoxy, that's done how it goes and I believe in more traditional forms of Roman Catholicism, that's not how it goes. The baptism. Allows you to receive the sacraments cleanses, you of many of your sort of the sins, you were going to bring with you. so cleanses you of those, but now you have a great, you have a massive responsibility Oh my goodness. So the idea is to be in communion to be in communion with God and being communion and to have your Society all within Community with each other, right? Anything that creates division And conflict has to be resolved. At we use. Let's say, the the discernment and the tradition in the wisdom of the church, in order to understand how to bring those conflicts to a resolution to get
that. To get that catharsis. Because the ultimate catharsis to be what with God the osis and the Orthodox tradition. That's why we, that's why we forgive. when we ask for forgiveness, and we forgive others, Because we have to understand that we're also not so crap. Hot either. We're going to get to Father Andrew after this. Talking directly about this about this. Idea of Christian forgiveness. Because you have to take, you have to take some responsibility for yourself and for others.
That's that's how you have civilizations. That's why we're builders because you can't build in a conflict Zone. Can build out of constantly feeling. At all as with each other. My goodness, all these followers coming out of nowhere. 40 watching now, my goodness. If you want to be able to build, if you want to have something that's built in truth, that is good and beautiful. You have to, you have to be have a conflict resolution mechanism. if you don't have those things,
then you can't build anything. Can't build an a war zone. That's the Christian forgiveness. What has happened over the last thousand years. As I am points out is that word has gotten hijacked, so forgiveness is now tied into condoning. It's a weakness. I forgive you, it's fine, Carry On which you're not asking for and what's not required. Which is also differently. Orthodox tradition is repentance. When you say the Lord's Prayer, you are. Doing a forum of repentance.
To repent. What do I say? But the product will son, or what I say about the mission to return to the father to repent of our sins and to rebuild. Repent isn't just saying I'm sorry. Not even just being really sincere about being being sorry. About changing. Altering yourself in some ways doing a 180. Becoming changed. So you no longer do the bad thing. That's what's required in the Christian frame. Without repentance. There can be no forgiveness.
Not by God, not by man, not by the church, we can say it. It can be God of the lips, but not in the heart because you haven't done anything. You see with your kid? Just had discipline my child recently. I'm going to particular but you know, she was being a bigger. You know. so, I had to. Apply some discipline. Smacked around a bit. No, joking. but, That only took one. She finally said, I'm sorry.
And the next thing she did the next day is she didn't do the things she got punished for in the first place. Repentance. She changed. Change your behavior. To become more in line to what I wanted to do. Just basically just picking things off the floor. Simple. Congratulations kid, you've ever been? You've you've repented, you said your story, you change your behavior. Now, I can forgive you fully. Totally Right. These things are necessary.
What has been taken out of a lot of things mainstream Christianity. In protestantism and even in, I think in Roman Catholics, in let's say more liberalized worldly forms of Christianity is that repentance. It's become a word concept fallacy. Hollowed out. So you can do something wrong and just by acknowledging, you did something wrong. Hey, I'm sorry. Oh I cut you off a sorry. Sorry about that. It's Canadian. Sorry, right? The classic story.
We say sorry about everything. We don't mean it. Can't be sorry, but everything. Oh, sorry, you see this in Canada happens all the time. Someone will will say their story as their budding ahead of you. Oh, sorry. Oh, I'm really sorry. Sorry, I'm just button. Head of you in line. Oh, but you know, I really got to get here. Sorry or yeah, I'm sorry about the elbow in your face.

No. so now we're in Conflict, there's no catharsis when we're getting into into the situation, we're seeing in the West, Jimmy Kimmel thing. You know. Jimmy Kimmel lies on are about the assassination of the Assassin of Charlie Kirk being Maga. Response from, from some
broadcasters to pull a show. Sinclair, media pulled his show. I asked him not doing that Disney suspended for a little bit and brought him back. I suspect because they wanted to see if they can get a boost and rating for taking him off and putting him back on. I haven't watched his thing just Clips flowing around of redstone offices. Of the basically he comes back on is like oh free speech in this and that and the other thing.
No repentance. I think he may just said, oh yeah, I could have, I kind of misspoke and I was telling a joke though. So it's it's an excuse. No repentance, he's not changing his behavior. We know he's not going to change the behavior and we know he doesn't hasn't changed his mind on these things. He doesn't care. You got punished a little bit. Punished. I mean show got taken off the air for a few days. Still got paid. Right. So how can we forgive?
We can't there's no repentance. but, I think many of them on the left is but we'll just do it that way. Many of the left, don't believe they've done anything wrong. So, what were they repent for? But they're not gonna change their behavior. They don't think they're in the wrong. And even if they're the even, if the the force of law is applied upon them, they still won't think they did something wrong. They think they're in the right. They think they're on the right side of History.
And there's nothing you're going to do to dislodge that thinking from them. Well, not easily. Anyways, certainly not just police actions a little rest of it. that's, I started seeing this. Years ago. And this is kind of the backbone of the eventual Sun thesis is that we're heading into a direction where words and diplomacy and even authoritative actions from the top unless they're draconian. Aren't going to do anything. Beneficial. We're past that point now. It's gone on too long.
The conflict has been unresolved that that resentment, and that is building up on both sides. The left is the embodiment of resentment to God for being born as Jordan Peterson, quote And the right is become resentful of the left, getting away with all this stuff and then being punished for it, pointing it out. Now, you have two sides of of great resentment. Going ahead to head. And the only way you're going to resolve that well the the only way I think is going to get results.
Short-term midterm, even long-term is going to be violence. And we're starting to see that across the left all over the place. This stuff is not going to stop. It's going to get worse. And most likely is going to start affecting everybody in some way, shape, or form, your six degrees of separation, from these events are going to get smaller On a swivel. Patience vigilance. Piece. Keep the peace within yourself and your family. Don't take the baits. Think.
Try to get a little bit of wedge of distance, between you, your thoughts and your words and your actions. Start to police those special of your man of any age. If you're young, man is specially understand you are dangerous, far more dangerous than maybe you actually understand, and they know it That's why they're screwing with you. Just because you see those Nature Documentaries on Discovery Channel, you see the one about lions? Yeah.
Hyenas picked compact. Until the line wakes up and takes him alone and I think that's where we're going to. My genuine concern right now. Is that? While I respect very much a Widow's. Regards for her faith and her beliefs. Is that a whole lot of people? Millions of people are going to use this as an excuse to, just forgive the forgive them for, they know not what they do. I think that's in the Christian texts. And nothing will change.
Because I wrote a piece last night, that just was hammering me. When I was sitting here, trying to go to bed and I got up and wrote it anyways. My concern is that in the Christian faith, Martyrs are valued more than Warriors. The Avengers. and that, that's really, you know, this this valuing of martyrdom over. War and violence and killing, and revenge all excused away through forgiveness, right? This is what Is what lead has led to the martyrdom of Millions?
Is not the rate is not the genital mutilation, the putting kids on drugs and hormones and the impoverishment of generations is that not martyrdom? To some. Some ideals. So I mean that's how it strikes me, it concerns me greatly, there are times where the only proper response is Wrath. Now do you hate know? And I write about that quite a bit, right? You don't hate discussed. And hate is what the resentful is. The Communist fascist whatever you want to call them.
That you know, it's what the resentful is want is to get us into a place of hate and disgust because then we do atrocious things and we go to far, then we lead. What few young men we have left to their Slaughter again, I'm not going to pick apart EMS choice of words, here, he's using wrath for my Works. Christian frame. We understand that wrath is part of the passion and rather than you have to guard yourself against there is righteousness, which is a virtue anger as the emotion can.
Sometimes be a linking thing between the two. So we look at anger when we say what angers wrong it's like no anger is an emotion. It's like an alarm Bell. You can feel angry. And even, you know, be right in your anger, something can happen and it's not just something annoying or something, that's not going your way, which is your pride in vain Glory. But something that is truly evil or truly disordered can somebody elicit feelings of great anger
or response, right? but again, there's a difference between what you think, or how you think and how you say, what you say and what you do and you need to have guards. Set up for all these things. Otherwise what ends up happening? Is what you say, what you think. Becomes what you say, becomes what you do and there's no filter. That's what a child does. Is a great Australian slang called spit in the dummy. It's like spitting your passive fire out, having a Tanger.
And quite often I can speak from experience is something I wore against all the time is my raft. My anger. for the angry thought becomes the angry word becomes the angry action and I don't have a lot of time to to intercede. That's where you get your sins, so you make mistakes. Actions born out of high emotional. Any kind of emotional response is nine times out of 10. The wrong decision. And if it happens to be the right decision, it's by accident.
So, you can get angry. You can feel anger over great wrongs or disorders. But that's a feeling, it's a momentary feeling, it tells you some it tells you something's up. And then you go. Okay, what's up? And now we apply reason. Now we apply logic. Now we now we put that emotion to the side because we're men and we're grown ups. We're not ruled by our emotions. Okay. Why, why is this upsetting me? Now, you pass through those kind
of conditions at first thing. You're going to ask yourself, right? I'll say this. First thing I ask myself, is this my pride or my van Glory? Is it I'm upset because something didn't happen the way I wanted to because I'm very important and I'm the you know everything has to work out for me and if things don't work out for me, the way I want them to. Now, I'm, I'm upset. Yeah. That's childlike response, that's your pride. That's your being Glory heaven
with you. But sometimes it's not that. Sometimes it's recognition of something that's truly truly wrong. In the world or yourself, or your family or something. And you need to find a way to Order it. It's disordered you bring it into order. That's an act of love. Kindness. There's a natural order, right? We say that God is truly the you know, the Creator. Of the natural order. Oh God. Created all God created. Good. Yeah, there's a fall. When we?
During the fall, human beings dragged, the world into a state of disorder. Stayed a sin. So we are causing trying to reorganize things, put things back into order. And the only way we can do that is by using a model and using a pathway to order something that tells us this is the ordered system. So things are not this. Then you got to fix it. Great words of Charles video. Fix it. How do you fix it? You don't give a blueprint necessarily. Just out of nature.
Into complex forms and civilizations and all these other kind of social kind of constructs. Where does this come? How do you do it? Well, you need, you need a model, you need a blueprint, you need someone telling you. Hey idiot, this is where you go. That's why you need religion. That's why we need a religion.
And why Western people or east? Well, let's say the world needs Christianity because Christianity gives you that blueprint And yes, sometimes sometimes you're going to have to sacrifice and sometimes you don't win. The battle. But we're fighting a big giant War. It's a spiritual war. It's been going on. Long before we were you're around. Its gonna go on long after you're gone. So I'm saying all these things
not to critique em who I greatly respect. because he's again, he's he's looking at this from outside the Christian frame, and I understand that And I share his concerns that bad theology often leads to bad decisions because they don't understand the words you're using. And so become Christ and lips and not in the heart. This is the problem of using the Bible to discern the Bible. For Pastor, Bob sure he's a nice guy, but even if even if Pastor Bob's a genius and he's, he's
nailing it. when Pastor Bob dies, there goes his Parish because it's just his interpretations. But wrath and ruin is very much in order. Because under forgiveness is how over a century is, how all of this has happened. in your mind wrath and ruin explain this to me, then in the old ways, there's a whole lot of people need to die. And I don't think that's going to happen through the legal system. Look what the legal systems have been doing.
You're going to somehow turn around 40 Years of these courts and District Attorneys and judges throwing, you know, releasing violent criminals into the streets and ruling against
people who defend themselves. see, I get I respect you know, very much that you know, in a functioning State, you know, in a healthy functioning statement, you know, not Revenge, but you know, The just meeting out of punishment should be at the level of the state, but all of this stuff is happening because the state is not adhering to that virtually at any level anywhere, Bill Hicks, good to see a bill, he says, queer queer. Okay, so you can say this queer
tool not religious. Yes very, very clear spirituality. Some few exceptions and even there, it's drug out. So somebody who's done some atrocious, things sits on death row for 40 years? Well, that's a lifespan not. So very long ago. And they all get away with all of this. So, wrath, and ruin is these people. A lot of people need to die. And not in some gussied up, pampered up idea of well. God's forgiving them and they're all in Grace now know. Well, I can agree that.
When you talk about Judicial System, seriously hearing Canada. The road back. I don't know the road back. That one of the car, the road back Well one there is none. There's no ever going back. Even or even a restoration or a resurrection of a fallen or say dead civilization, something that's going to be resurrected to something new and and breathe that life back into it.

We venerate them. we also are understand and respect their sacrifice that they had to make because their choice was either except as false church or are
they chose? Option b. To say, truth of the faith. Many others are Nicholas and his family were deaf. They lost. They lost that one. Revolution is took power, the bullshit took power. We know that Soviet experiment that lasted for about 80 years 80 years is an interesting thing, right? The curse. That falls away. and now, what we have the beginning of the modern Russian State took form in the 1990s, and Now, they're
Russians ascendant. We'll see how this war the rest of it goes, but Still looking like, Russia's on a civilizational pathway. But you have to go through a period of deaths. The disorder has to be carved out. Again, I'm not saying. Violence is good. I'm not recommending it and I hope still pray to God, that there can be non-violent. Solutions to this problem. But increasingly, I don't see it. I don't see a pathway out of it. That doesn't require a form of death. And the system that you want to go back to. Anyways, by the way is
luciferian. Anyways, the whole liberal frame by the way, you know, and liberal democracy or, you know, classic liberalism, which is what candidates based on a Well, that system. Oh it's just it's part of Lucifer's little play in there. And for the secularist in the crowd, don't believe in the mystical magical. Whoo. Demons in his school. But just use it as a story. Right is a character is a, as a set of bad characteristics. And it's all there and liberalism exalting the Passions.

This is the order. You don't like it. Leave, or we will. Make you leave one way or the other. Got it. So however this solution comes out, this idea of going back to something. It was never good one. It's impossible. But even if it was possible not a good idea. Gonna go forward. Something new. Restructure, the whole dang thing. Or else you're just gonna be caught in this Paradigm, the Paradigm between left and right.
Depends on this Frame. So substantiating, the frame and keeping the frame and just trying to rejigger the things inside the frame a little bit. Nah. I'm not gonna work. The frame will just flip. So from whatever, kind of progressive social democracy, socialism, you know, quasi communism, whatever you want to call the thing. So it's going to flip the fascism. Or, you know, hardcore Zionism or something along the lines. Western design is a cetera.
Sure, nationalism. But authoritarian nationalism given a new name. Give a new branding. Same thing. Oh, man shows as we say, in a Range, Okay. Your problems. Don't get solved. Fish won't fly my friend. so, just so, even with the idea that okay, The in order to fix this there's going to have to be a violence and I'll add on this my concept of violence here doesn't always mean the kinetic, you know.
Murder and all the rest of it people's. It can also take the form of authoritarianism, Mass censorship, panoptic cons, please States. All those kind of things. These are also violences The violence can be, you know, can be in, words can be in many different, many different facets. And once we enter into a violent period, a violent at age, of total violence, everything around, you will become a hot War. And you'll enter your entire
life will be one of conflict. You want to know why birth rates are plummeting? Because on some level, everybody understands. Or is responding to the fact that you're in a war zone. And you have been for a while. This isn't feel like it. Sleep in your nice bed at night, you play video games and all the rest of it. But you're but you're at War, it's a spiritual war going on. And if you're not an active participant, I'm choosing aside and getting on the front lines. Here's a casualty.
It's eating away, it people. Destroying their hope, classify as nihilism, or whatever you want to call it, sure. But that's that's how you know, you're being you're it's killing you. And this is a talk directly on forgiveness, again, from an orthodox frame and the meanings of it and the importance of it. The rich man. Usually, the rich man gets a really bad Rock. Not so much in this case. Here, the the problems in in the, in the parable. With various servants. One is a great deal. One knows a little And it's what they do with that, it is the subject of the reading. And the summary. Because I know that we were we were listening. We heard the reading for ourselves.
The summary is that. What we have done. As opposed to what others have done, can be greatly, disproportionate can be greatly misunderstood by ourselves. Be nice if I actually put it on there for you. a really bad rap. Nope, not so much in this case. Here, the the problems in in the, in the, in the powerful. With various servants. One is a great deal. One knows a little And what they do with that. As opposed to what others have done, can be greatly, disproportionate can be greatly misunderstood by ourselves.
What we do to others. We often tend to minimize. What we have done was it was I was having a bad day. It was just a bit rough. It's unusual. I don't normally do that. but when other people do it, Me, I had a blip when I was changing lanes. And really the other car. Well, he should, he should be fine with it. What's he beeping for? When a car pulls out in front of us, Can be a very different reaction. Much more hostile reaction.
The car analogy is a really good one to understand what I've been trying to talk about this unrealized. Content without resolution. And the need for catharsis and this is where forgiveness comes in. Because let's say in the, in the example, right? Someone cuts you off or you cut someone else off, you know, someone honks and you. Oh, maybe you make a little sign in the window. Oh, and move on WE day, right? The person who gets cut off, however, is most likely going to
be upset. And they can carry that upsetness throughout their day. They, you know, start getting nasty with other people, you know, how is your day? How's that? They carry around and let resentment and that conflict with them. Because there is no resolution to that conflict. Right. There's no repentance like that, you know, the person who cut them off and speeds away, they're never, you know, you're never going to see that person
again. it's released road rage right people get so frustrated with these things happening so often that they Demand a resolution. They're gonna, they're gonna, they're gonna resolve this. Conflicts demand resolutions because people want the catharsis one way or the other. however, turns out when you caught an emotion, you're going to demand an emotional catharsis.
Which is often is, like, not just the cessation of the anger of the Wrath, but to justify it. So in that example, it's a small one, right? And again the person who's wronged will oftentimes carry it around maybe wrong others. There's your sin Whereas, if you can forgive the person cut you off and let it go, well now you're not going to it's not going to carry around, you're not going to perpetuate that sin to others and spoil other people's days.
And you're going to just have and you, you are bringing it to her resolution. Your choosing to resolve it within yourself because you can't resolve with the other person. Many such instances in our life. Past wrongs. Wrongs, that cannot be. Conflicts, that cannot be resolved, easily. In case of Erika Kirk and the Assassin. Her husband. Other than what's already being done legally. What else can she do?
Even the man is injected, if the man faced the death penalty is, you know, whatever, how are he faces, Justice. And whatever form won't bring Charlie back over your husband back. Her kids are gonna live without a father as a customer minder. so for her entire life, that will stay with her, And depends on. It depends how it's going to stay with you. So gonna stay in love and remembrance of your of your
husband. and trying to honor him in many, many ways you go after the people who financed this and cause this problem, The first place. Or is he going to stay with you, with hateful resentment to man who did this? Who I see? Because he didn't Utah. He's gonna face death penalty. Found guilty. He'll be gone and once he's gone. Well, now if you're holding resentment, you're holding your carrying water for a dead man. And you're just poisoning your
own well. whereas, if you forgive them, Again, not condone them. Not justify them. Not say it's okay. Not tell other people to go ahead and do the same thing. No, no. You're just gonna still seek Justice? But you're not going to carry that water. Always in yourself with this hatred with this unresolved conflict that will go on and create conflicts for your entire life. So that leaves us two things.
How we should be with all the others. when we know how far we have fallen short of the standards we were made for We take it all the way back to to the beginning. To our Origins. We were made to be in communion with God. We were made to be in conversation with him. Now a lot of time has passed a lot of waters gone under that particular Bridge. That's still what we're made for. Even if we, we know that we fall short.
How fast short we have fallen. Is by definition greater than however, far short others have fallen against us. After all, we didn't create them, we had nothing to do with their origin. So we know the standard that they're coming from. There isn't that far to drop? As opposed to where we in our relationship with God, have fallen responsibility and duties. Father from Rose once famously said that the proper orientation for Christians to assume that they are the worst Christians.
And to excuse and forgive everybody else for whatever they're doing. because, You don't know what brought them to that point, but, you know, exactly what brought you to your point. You can't necessarily change their behavior. You can punish them, you can reorder them in some ways. But they have to be a participant in that. True to truly bring someone back into order. They have to choose to do that. They have to do it. Do a lot of that work
themselves. and so I always thought we fail every day we would get up and we continue We're going to send. I have a bad, you know? Do something improperly. Hold some anger or resentment or Pride or whatever in our hearts. And struggling against these things. But it's the struggle that's respectable. That's redeemable. It's in the active struggle. That we can repent or you know ultimately what you're trying to do is not do that behavior at all to become dead to the world,
right? Bring death to the world world being the passion collectively, so you bring death to the by silencing or eliminating the passions from your life, you're trying to conquer them. And maybe some of us are successful in doing that to a degree and others you fall short. But we're trying. and the harder you try, the more honestly you try not just Christ who lives but Christ in the heart, That's what we're being judged on. Now ultimately God may have other criteria.
I can't speak for. God wouldn't even try. But we can certainly judge ourselves and judge others if we're going to judge them at all. in terms of, If we're in order to give forgiveness, what is this repentance? Do we see people trying? Actively trying to do something better be better. Correct. Their wrongs do something different.
Not be the same. and if you don't, well, then there's no reason to forgive them, we can forgive them, but you know, we can forgive him in our hearts but there's, you know, we don't have to trust them. so, Push them to reorder themselves. Mercy, Justice for the rest of it. That repentance is is key. Well, we do and where we fall short. Compared to what we were made for. because of because we know this, We don't get to have contempt for others. We don't get to be looking down
on others. Or judging others. Which by definition means putting ourselves over and above others. As if they answer to us. There are times when that may be the case that we are responsible for others. But we're held to account for our responsibilities. Usually though, when we're in Judgment of others, Pretty much always. When we're not the ones who have responsibility for them. We've presumed a responsibility, we've taken a responsibility. Taken it from where it rightly ought to have been.
To put ourselves over others. Is to be in Judgment of them. We know elsewhere that's to be in danger of Health fire. To put ourselves over others. And we're caught to quite the opposite. We know. That others? Are where salvation is? Not because the other is necessarily. Good or Godly. Or even ethical. Because that's how we are being refined. That's how we are being called to something greater to someone greater. Span festation users were Protestants. Get this whole works things and
laborers. I'm just there is some to it in general that, yes, the fruits of your labors and the and and let's say the the Praxis of your faith. This is really where we see the effects on others. If our faith is true and is, if we are lying ourselves and and repenting in a constant state of repentance, we're going to start to see effects but official effects on those around us, our relationships and all the rest of it. That's how we express it and how it's received and how it
transforms others. Because if you don't have that, then where is it? Well, I have great faith in myself. I have great faith in God inside of me. Yes, okay, but how are you manifesting it? if there is no, proof, let's say and I say proof and not, in fact, or discernible, you know, figure but in the vibe, you know, then it's not there. And you can love Christ and God all you want inside your heart. But it should be manifesting itself around.
You should be beaming out of you and changing those around you. Forcing them to. Contend with himself. That's not always positive. It's not always, you're gonna bring everyone, it's like, you know, you you believe in God. And so your belief in God is going to be so powerful that other people are gonna believe in God automatically, you know, be nice. But as saying Sarah Rosario says, peaceful heart can save a thousand Souls. What is to be at peace? Is it just non-violence as part
of it? but I would say, this is just me saying, That piece is to be without conflict in your environment, or with others. Seeking conflict. And if conflict comes to you just resolve it. Become the glacial Lake. you know, you're doing spiritual kung fu. Because you can see it, you're not affected by it. There's no disturbances here because you're not being activated by your pride, or your vein Glory, or your, your desires.
You don't take these insults to Heart. because, I mean nothing to you because the only person you're concerned about is God, your opinion that you care about is God. His only his judgment matters. In this life, in the next. so other people think, Sucks. And you can resolve a lot of complex that way because you're not being activated by your desire. To be exalted by them to to either put yourself ahead of them or have them, put them put
you ahead of them, makes sense. You want to be lifted? you know, Satan brings Christ above the temple on plays on high a, highest of the high, Look on the lands Temptations, right? Bring you up. From a high place, we can always expect to fall. interactions with all the Oh, keeping up peace. Efforts of the spirit General Lee. This is how we are refined. This is how our rough edges are smooth. This is how we are being brought to something greater than ourselves.
That usually leads to the second problem. Then how do we let that go? I know that I've spoken of previously. about two meanings of this of this word, forgive if we look to the New Testament word, it's, it's More or less, literally. To mean coexist. Can we be together? Can we be okay with them being in heaven? At the same time that we are? With being on Earth. At the same time that we are.
Been in the same room together. The parable doesn't talk about how much interaction there is. Talks about is the debt forgiven. she leads us to our own word, forgive It's very simple to let go. To let go of the hold that this has over us. To be in contempt of others. That comes back to us. That comes back to our own Humanity. Against for everybody on this and I can paint with a broad with a broad bush, with a broad brush. But I think it's people want to
hold on to resentments. It becomes part of you, I can speak personally about this. You get you become so resentful and so angry and so annoyed or whatever, about these things that it just, it becomes part of you. You can't imagine yourself without those resentments. It's like a limb. so, In a weird way, saying, you know, let that go let those resentments go. Be like asking a carve off your arm or carve off a whole part of you that.
Has become so part of the part of you that you identify with it. It's part of your literally a part of your identify, your identity. Your personality. It's baked around this thing. That's why we can so difficult because in many ways the it's like the freudians will call it an ego death. Well in a sense it's it's a resentment death. Now I made no friends last year when I kept telling to let people who are hating on the Boomers, like man, you just gotta let that go. Gotta let it go.
Not fair. Yeah. Spit the dummy and get it. Get a little go. Get over it, move on. You only Desiring what they have and you just become the you'll just become them. Anyways, It become the thing that you hate, you say you hate. Because you got a raw deal, you're resentment. And your anger to your parents, or your, you know? Family. Walking around with that, it's no good. And you know, hating a whole generation of people, it's not getting you anywhere.
This doesn't make anything better. so, Yeah. Wait, wait, another 10. 15 years old, I'll be gone man. Outlive them if you really want to socket to him. We are. Like that. We are like that person. Yes, even that one that you're thinking of. Even that one is like us. In our relationship with God. Cold to be adopted children. How do we let go of the infractions that someone has
done to us? Sometimes it's easy enough to let go. Oh well, usually not talking about that when we're saying, how do I forgive such and such? When we're trying to let go. What we're doing, what? What we do in this? Firstly, we need to remember where we stand before. God? when we remember where we stand before, God, And that word, humility is exactly where that is. Where what that means? A word that literally means dirt. It's different though, to
humiliate. To have humility is to know that we were made. Yes, from Earth. And also from the Breath of God. Gives us a lot of latitude about where we can fall in between those two extremes. Remember God shows them Grace humility by coming down to us as a human to be born born as a human. Divine means obviously through a virgin birth but to suffer and die. To be tortured suffered and die.
For us. it's an insane amount of humility, not just because of the torture and all the rest of it to be humiliated to be spit upon, to be called names, be betrayed and all the rest of it. Yes, all these things that we can connect to because it's versions of that can happen in our own life. but remember, we're never that far away from it. You know that far away from being homeless, right? So like obviously you don't want to become homeless.
But if you're, you know, of moderate means you're not that far away, whereas a rich man can think he's very far away. So for a rich man to become homeless, it's a much greater fall. Greater degree of humiliation. or active humility, if he gave it all away, so that he could become humbled. You think of a rich man to a poor man? He gave it all away as an act of humility. It's great, it's a great distance. Now, think of God to us. To. Dying on the cross.
How much of a distance is that? Beyond calculation. That's our model. So oftentimes we say, you know, I'm being humiliated, my singer Pride, right? I suffer from this more than most I wouldn't say I'm a narcissist, but Certainly. you can see narcissism from down the street. Get it. So, someone says something, do you install to criticize you? You feel like they're personally attacking you that they've specially if they're right. Oh it's worse at the right?
if you humiliated, Brought low and they did it to you. But how long have you gone? Not that far. Even fall on that far. There's, you can fall further. and if someone else doing it to you, or you doing it to yourself, The ends of the same. You can't be resentful and someone who's forgiving cannot be resentful. It's letting those resentments go. A humble man cannot be evil. Can't. And not false humility. Someone gives you praise. You accept it. But it's that non-reaction.
Again that you can insult me, you can throw barbs at me. You can, you know, Do what you do, what you will? But you're not going to my soul. I'm not going to give it to you. because it's means more to me than reacting and pride to your Attempts. Now, I've been given a model, how to bear. Suffering. We can bear it. Oh marriage. Like you're talking like just roll over and die. Nope, no no no, no no. Defend yourself, of course. I'm talking about interactions. Specially, when you talk about
violence, the word words. A little Deeds digs. If you're married, you're gonna experience them on both ends. That's where the humility comes in. You want to keep a relationship together? That's again, you don't tolerate abuse. There's levels of this kind of stuff. But oftentimes a humble man will bring people to repentance because they realize the error in their ways. Someone Bears it. And I'm saying, all these things that I can hear the rebuttal. I hear the rebuttal Loudon.
Clear. And I I don't can't I'm not here to convince you. A lasagna says I would donate but I don't get paid till next week. Amen. Don't worry about the donation. Thing is just like it's there, right? And I asked for it and kind of remind people because it sometimes you got to remind people but you know, you give when you can't, I do the same for other people, so We fool. In a particular place, just as all other people do also made from dirt. And the Breath of God How do we
let go? that first, we remember that when all that We're not in judgment over them because that's not what we don't have the position to do that. We don't have the authority to do that. Second. Maybe there was an event. And yet we go to choose. To if we're choosing to forgive the event. Yes, we need to remember for what it was. Here because we need, we need to know it to let go of it. Need to understand why or
attempt to understand why. Pray. If it's this difficult that we're needing a four-step process then, well, we clearly need some help. Pray. We ask. Mercy for ourselves, Mercy for that other person. Help as we strive to let go and forgive. Lastly. We strive to Let It Go. To deliberately. Say this, I don't want this account. I don't want to do the bookkeeping for this debt anymore. What they've done is what they've done. And I'm not going to put myself in the position.
Where I need to police. What has already happened and put that into contrast. I said there's really in the show that the there's groups within Israel. I'm not sure how Far up the government goes, we're going to be demanding on demand reparations from Spain, for kicking them out of Spain, back in the, you know, 1490 whatever it was. Holding on to that stuff, man. It's no good. Doesn't do you any good? Vladimir Putin is even said this to the Ukrainian is like look
just come home. We can result this. This isn't to be this way. but if you keep attacking, And threatening. Then we're going to have to resolve this some way. But it's not out of hatred. Or anger. it's just things are the way they are. and I don't absolve Russia from any sins or murders or whatever have you At the same time. It takes both, right? And if one side is at least offering, It's for the other side to receive and to come into back into communion.

I don't think it's that the reformers didn't know about Orthodoxy, but I think by that point in the relationship between, let's say it post schism. You know. The Protestants really just wanted all the what the Catholics have, but they wanted to, they wanted to have it their way.
They didn't really want to upend Catholicism. they wanted to take all the things from Catholic they just wanted to go ala carte And take the authority from the pope because they said, the pope didn't longer has Authority. He's done a lot of wrongs. We're not going to were seeding. Authority from the Pope.
It's really obvious in the Anglican church because anglicanism, and of course, is no. I don't know where they're at now with female priests and all the rest of it, but regardless, A lot of anglicanism to me as the armchair Theologian that I am reeks of Catholicism without the pope. Like it's pretty much all their real Vatican. One Vatican too.
Kind of a thing. It just they want all the, they want all the stuff they just don't want, they want to be able to reject whatever they want to reject based on their own criteria the preferences. This is why bad theology always leads to bad ends. Because it's not about you. Ultimately end of the day, like her enemies and these whatever you want to see the enemies, the evil forces that we wore again.
So we're coming for us and this in this day and age, that's the things that everyone's Mobile is getting mobilized about, right? So the Stephen Miller talked about What is this? Who are these? People, whereas Force, we can name them. We can put them into groups and all the rest of it. But it's the thing that's acting on them. That's what we wore against. Ephesians, 6, 12. Now the people are vessels of the spirit right of this motivation, the ideologies Etc.
So yeah, there's there are people involved. Who had to be brought to order Justice, Etc. but, They're not the problem. They're the manifestation, they're they're been possessed by the problem. The problem is going to be around. Long after I'm gone you're gone. They're gone it is expiry date for all this, right? Even in great suffering, if all this goes horribly wrong and the bad guys win.
And we're all living under, you know, Soviet Union 2.8 2.0 in the West. We can always take, you can always take a little bit of the bitter. White pill is, you're gonna die eventually. You can exit out. There is an Exit Plan. But it's what you do between now and then that counts. And so, when we talk about these words like justice and Even discernment. Well who has it? Who has the discernment who understands right and wrong good evil. Light dark, where is it?
It's not on the it's on the philosophy books. They're part of the frame. It's not in the ideology, is on the government's on the voting. It's on this politician. It's not in these institutions. These powers and principalities are really literally what we wore against. So it's not there. If you can't be found within the frame, where is it? Well, it's just a thing. It's it's inside. The thing, the plays that is not
of this world. It's in this world but not of it. The church specifically Orthodox Church. Could liturgy get transported to heaven. and you only get to know that if you go to liturgy, talk to a priest. Get humble. Return repent. Rebuild. Folks. Thank you so much drift speed. There's bread to be baked bread, which Richard will eat tomorrow. There is milk to be processed milk, which Richard will drink tomorrow. There's the newspaper to be printed for people to read in the morning and electricity to be made and water to be pumped, and filtered, and telephone calls to be put through day and night.
So the work can witches Community goes on day after day night after night. People working for each other depending on each other. All of them Partners in making their Community a better place in which to live.
