In this episode, Aminta chats with Nicole Schmidt about the challenges of having a son born with a very rare genetic disorder called PKS (Pallister-Killian Syndrome). Nicole shares the obstacles they have faced as a family, as well as how their faith helps them keep going. In addition, we are given a front row seat as Nicole and her family launch a nonprofit called Project 12-04, an organization dedicated to helping the children and families affected by rare genetic conditions.
