Have you ever reached a point in your life where you knew profound change was not just necessary, but inevitable? Namiris Maria Grossman joins us to share her transformative journey, a tale of overcoming both mental and physical health challenges that reshaped her future. Her story is one of not just surviving, but thriving through incremental changes and mindfulness, as detailed in her book about the "10 as of transformation." She doesn't just talk the talk; she walks us through the steps she took to envision a healthier life for her 80s and 90s, and the daily practices that are guiding her there.

In our conversation, Namiris emphasizes the power of setting intentional boundaries for health and family, the clarity brought on by her meditation practice, and the liberation from toxic elements, including her decision to stop drinking. The wisdom she imparts isn't just about the big revelations; it's the small, everyday choices that contribute to a larger metamorphosis. With Namiris's guidance, you'll find encouragement to examine the 'why' behind your aspirations for change, and you'll discover that transformation is a deeply personal, ever-evolving process. Breathe in her insights and take a step towards a more present and purposeful existence. Bless you.

So , as I go further , this is Namiris Maria Grossman and I'm talking more about the transformative aspects of life and my book will talk to more detail on the 10 as of transformation and the lifetime maintenance of what it is to finally go from a change maker into your life and making these small changes of mindful ways to then be really transformative .

And that's where that really golden nugget for long term success is .

I mean , I'm going to tell you one for me that's pretty profound and I always thought I was fully healthy and that I always had it kind of situated and I was like , oh , I'm a healthcare provider and I've got different things , but really I've had some years of mental health illness , physical illness , body illness that I was trailing , trying to get , to get ,

to get , and never really put the pieces together . But it's taken a journey for me and in those small changes I've made change and now I feel like I'm on the other side in more of a transformative change , because now I'm really at lifetime , looking at where I want to be when I'm 80 , 90 . I want to live longer .

So I would rather look at what I'm doing each and every day to meet that . And how do I get there , excuse me , and that is for me .

One was realize what I'm exposing myself to in the toxic world , whether that's environmental relationships , what I'm putting into my body , and also how am I presenting myself into the world in the toxic words and being as mindful in all of my ways . So this is super important now . For example , I don't drink .

I used to have alcoholic beverages with friends and family and such , and now I found that to be something that is non-negotiable . I don't really want to do that as part of my social events and I found that wasn't necessary . So I let go of that and that is part of a behavior that I felt wasn't necessary .

I also found that being more reset and present with my family and having my daily meditation practice for myself , and if that's that , five minutes is non-negotiable , and also my time with my family and a turnoff of screen time is a non-negotiable .

So my boundaries was a huge part of my transformation putting boundaries for my health , for my family and for others , because that really helps with the overall work .

Now , as I always say and you've heard me say numerous times , it's a work in progress and there's no one answer , and I think that's what's the hard part about when you're educating and talking to individuals is that the answers are not always going to be a one-off .

And if it was a one-off , then you'd just be getting the pill from somebody else , and that's not the conversation we want to have . We want to know why are we trying to change ? What is going on right ? What do we want to do differently ?

And you know , preparing to get to that point and you can be well , I promise it's a one day at a time and sometimes even it's just one minute at a time .

So if you have any further questions , I'll go into this in another day or another episode , but please make sure that you give yourself one breath , one inhale , one exhale , and make sure you find a mindful way each and every day . Bless you .
