A Metta meditation or Metta prayer is designed to foster a sense of well-being and loving kindness within oneself, while also sending loving intentions to others. During this meditation, you first will go through a mindfulness exercise. After, you will repeat affirmations, or mantras, as you increase your own well-being and send loving kindness to people in your life.
