Episode description

Restoration and the sustainability of an empowered black community is at the forefront of so many of our minds especially as the forces that be become more powerful and outright intentional with the demise of our people. Today we speak with Michael Garner the President of One Hundred Black Men NYC, Chief Diversity Officer of MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority) and relative of the late Eric Garner who's life was taken by NYPD in 2014.  We examine the successful elements of Harlem "the Mecca of Black Culture" and explore what can be generalized and duplicated in many other black communities that need to thrive.
