Hello folks, this is Princess. You are listening to the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast. Thanks for listening. Don't forget to share with your friends. That's tough. We're in a very tough spot. I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and virtue because it's an end around between this whole corrupt informational system, media system.

We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet we're not going to believe that anything else exists in the spirit realm, even though His word tells us that they do. Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do. And they weren't. Permitted to go to. Heaven, so they. Wander the earth. You know. I've seen the eyes turn black.

To unknown tongues being spoken. These giants would love way up in the Highland, the young Braves. The young men would hide up in the trees and wait for one of these 12 footers to come walking down the path and they would jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the village and the village would feast on the body freedom. Then people start to get weapons, they start to get armor, they start to build cities, they start to fortify their cities. Now God looks down and there's

violence everywhere. The. Battle this war that we. Are at is not against each other, it's against these principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high. Places. It's really worthwhile to read the Bible yourself. Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control because we have to take every thought captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony that is a justice case against the Kingdom of. Darkness.

We left off talking about the parable of the sower in Matthew chapter 13 as an explanation or an elaboration rather of when we observe people that seem to walk away from their faith. And again, to clarify, this is not going through a rough patch in your faith or a season of sin, as we've all had those issues. This is more of an about face dramatically turning the other way and saying, God, I don't want anything to do with you any longer.

And one of the questions that we left off with as we are titling this series, Rethinking Eternal Security, is talking about that third type of soil in that parable that falls amongst the thorns, where it says that it didn't produce fruit because the cares of the world and the riches of the world and the deceitfulness of those things choked it out. So you can think of that person as not walking by the spirit, but walking by the soul and their faith withered.

So we kind of left off with what is that person saved? I mean, it just says they didn't produce fruit. And we don't want to think about workspace salvation. So do we have to produce fruit? That's a tricky one. I'm going to let you guys kind of wrestle with that on your own. But as a reference, right out of the book of Matthew in Chapter 7, Rod, we have another parable that might answer that. Can you go through that? Matthew 7 verse 16 through 20. By their fruit you will

recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn Bush or figs from Thistle? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear good fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

So just looking at that one scripture, it does seem to suggest that while we don't have to have a minimum amount of fruit, that would be workspace salvation. If the soil of our heart is has allowed the word of God to come in and change us and the Holy Spirit is in US and changing us, there will be a fruit as an evidence for that. And I think this parable kind of bears that out and. I'll just kinda just comment with this real quick.

So in Galatians, it runs side by side with what we're reading right here in Matthew 7. And the flush is, is contrary to the spirit. They're in conflict with each other. But in Galatians it, it mentions if you are led by the spirit that you're not under the law. And the acts of the flesh are obvious. It says, you know, there's sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, all these

different things are listed out. And it says that you will not inherit the Kingdom of God if you're operating in these, but the fruit of the Spirit is love and joy and peace and kindness, goodness, faithfulness. And, and against those such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh and its passions and desires, and they're living by the Spirit. And I think that there's just another good way that it, it fits together with this idea of

what kind of soil are you? And are you once saved, always saved? And why do you have to work it out with fear and trembling? Why are we working out our salvation? And I just, as you zoom out, I could go on and on, but I'll pass it back to you because it just fits together and becomes more deeper and thorough as we actually take the whole counsel of God's Word.

So kind of the thing that spurred this whole mini series and the thing that I felt the Holy Spirit was showing me was for all of the people that make a good argument from Scripture on eternal security. And then those that perhaps equally make a good argument that no, you, you have to maintain your faith in order to be saved and you can possibly fall away. Not like you lost your salvation, like you lost your car keys, right? Like you had a bad week of sinning and God, you know,

kicked you out of the house. Not like that, but like we were explaining before about literally making that about face away from God and saying enough, I'm I'm not believing in you anymore. That sort of walking away and what was kind of an epiphany and I'm hoping it's correct. I'm hoping it's from God as I want you guys to kind of evaluate this prayerfully and look at Scripture. But I felt like God was showing me that both sides of that

equation are actually correct. They're both correct, but both of them don't have the whole picture. And all of the verses that seem to suggest one side versus the other actually can work in harmony. And so as we go through this series, we're going to try to unpack that from our vantage point and kind of flesh out these ideas and let you evaluate them with us. So is there a difference between once saved, always saved and

eternal security? Those terms are thrown about, conflated with one another, used interchangeably. What might the difference be? Well, in my opinion, I think that eternal security has to do with the faithfulness of God. And once saved, always saved is more about the faithfulness of the person. Now you could say the same thing for both. You could say, well, faithfulness is required for either and faithfulness of God is required for either. And that's true.

But let's just make this distinction just for the sake of understanding that all the verses that seem to point to eternal security are saying are talking about how faithful God is. And in a future mini episode, we're going to unpack that and look at those verses. Once saved, always saved is a little bit of a different slant. You might say it is 95% truth with a little bit of demonic error mixed in. If you'll permit that analogy,

what is the error? You could go on what people used to call Christian Twitter or X and look at people's comments who are rabid ideologues when it comes to once saved, always saved. I've seen quotes going so far as you can literally do that about face, shake your fist at God and still end up in heaven and live like the devil for the rest of your life and still end up in heaven.

That's the kind of once saved, always saved that I think is a deception where if you had a genuine profession of faith and you really meant it, that somehow you're locked in, you're born again and you can't be unborn again. I think eternal security, on the other hand, talks about this, the robustness of salvation from God's side, his faithfulness. And again, we're going to unpack that further in another episode, but I'll throw it to Rod for any comments on that.

This is the meat, you know, It's really humbling to evaluate ourselves. You know, the word says if any man think he is, he is saved and strong, Let him evaluate himself lest he fall. Kind of paraphrasing that in my own way. But this is good for all of us to really dig in and chew on some meat and to wrestle through these deep concepts and to be encouraged knowing that you're

not alone. We can ask these questions together and we can seek it out in the word of truth that is settled in heaven, and we can rely on God's goodness and His grace and mercy to allow that season to come to pass for all the growth and the learning that is necessary for such deep topics. It's an honor to be with you again, Pete, for another mini. And as the series go on, I'm encouraged and challenged in the best way.

Yeah, as always. So on the next mini episode, we're going to look at the next section where we left off in Matthew 7, taking a little bit of a detour of this topic of eternal security. Not entirely a detour, but a little bit of a sidebar with what many have termed the scariest verses in the Bible. Not everyone who says Lord, Lord will inherit the Kingdom. So with that we will leave off. See you next time guys. God bless. I came from the sun, straight from the Evans.

He really owed me. All in my life I was beating up. All in my life I didn't handle. All in my life I was stuck in on track. All in my life I didn't handle rat. I didn't know why my life was so wet. I didn't know why my life was a rat. I didn't know why I couldn't get up. I was so stuck. And the monkey was stuck till I found out. And I broke everything until I fell down. And they took everything until I was hurting my heart and restrained. Yeah, I was broken.

I had all this pain held on home. It got harder than this hope. Then I would dip to the side in this mode. I had no truth but to look to my guy. He gave me stomach up, open my eyes. He gave me earrings. And he told me I'm blessed. He told me he just believe in this time. I told him I can't change all of my ways. He said I got you. Just look at this. I looked at him and he showed me his ways. Then he just told me how I am this time. See he just told me I'm not in

this world. He told me I come from the heavens above. I'm a new creature. I come from the sun, from the one and only straight from the heavens. You really owe me. I came from the sun. I was really with him. And heavenly places I'm sealing. Y'all can't even go that way. Y'all don't even know that way. Y'all want to play like Patty Kat but this ain't no game. But it's not right. You wipe this on fake when you walk under me and I know you're

a snake. You think you can beat me but you got nobody you want in a way. I take out that chopper, I'll put on your chopper and I'll prank on your face. I see you laughing. You think that you got me but you got no way. The evil you said for my life is OK because it's made for my good. My God is created. He created you so you really is cooked.

I said all these things because I know what is true and you know you is cooked, but like I did Cage, you can never when I know the things that's going to happen to you when you die. You didn't live in your life because you know you can never go and get saved. You know his crazy, his mercy was took from you when you're my son in the plot. Thought you could take on my God's spot now, but you can die hot. You was really tweaking. I come from the sun, from the one and only straight from the

heavens. You really owe me. I came from the sun. I was really with him and heavenly places I'm still living.
