Hello folks, this is Princess. You are listening to the Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. Thanks for listening. Don't forget to share with your friends. That's tough. We're in a very tough spot. I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and virtue because it's an end around between this whole corrupt informational system, media system.

We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet we're not going to believe that anything else exists in the spirit realm, even though his word tells us that they do. Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do, and they weren't permitted to go to heaven, so they wander the earth. You know, I've seen the eyes turn black to unknown tongues being spoken.

These giants would love way up in the highland, the young graves. The young men would hide them in the trees and wait for one of these 12 footers to come walking down the path and they would jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the village, and the village would feast on the body freedom. Then people start to get weapons, they start to get armor, they start to build cities. They start to fortify their cities. Now God looks down and there's

violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are at, is not against each other. It's against these principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high places. It's really worthwhile to read the Bible yourself. Fear is one of the primary drivers of mind control because we have to take every thought captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony that is a justice case against the Kingdom of darkness.

None. Welcome back to the Millennium Mustard Seed. I'm your host, Rod, and thank you for being here with me for another awesome episode. And this is a really cool one, man. I have Adam Ferris join me for a fascinating conversation about a comic book that he wrote. And it's a dope comic book, you guys. It's a little bit graphic, so it's not quite recommended for the youngins, but listen, this is definitely for your 15, you know, and up, and it's based on

the David and Goliath story. So Adam reached out to me a few months back and he's like man Gary Wayne and Blurry creatures and your show The Millennium Mustard Seed had ultimately inspired him during a critical time in his life to do a Christian comic book. And well, we he testifies on that. We get into what that story looks like. There was some tragedy, there was a lot of opposition. And he gets to this point where he literally follows God and the nudgings and just does something

that's different. And there's a shift that took place in his life. And so it's a really cool, powerful episode in the sense where he testifies the hardship and deprivation leading up to this breakthrough moment creating what's called 5 Stones. And he sent me the a copy of it. And I read through it and looked at it and just really spent a little bit of time on it and was blown away by how necessary it is for us to have the correct worldview of what these biblical

stories look like. It is not a cute little animated story. You know, it's it's true depictively to the scenario of David and Goliath, a stone being slung into the Dome of a giant and his head literally being Hacked Off in front of everybody. So this is something that might kind of look a little bit like Sin City or 300 movie, a little hack and slash, some gore to it. That's why it's for a mature audience, in my opinion.

So that's the disclaimer. It is for a mature audience, not this episode, but the comic book itself because it's graphic, but it really does depict what happened in the story of David and Goliath when you know God's enemy gets defeated and decapitated. That can look graphic. But you know, there's some cool highlights during this interview where it's just heartfelt, encouraging, and the struggle gets depicted for us from Mr. Adam Ferris himself.

You guys can find details in the show notes to get a copy of Adam's comic book 5 Stones, and you can also find in the details of the show notes a way to help us in our time of need. I think we may have gotten some breakthrough on the whole Spotify thing. It looks like subscriber has finally refreshed itself and it's active, alive and ready. I don't. I'm hoping if one of you, 100 of you out there will try that, please plant a seed and help us

in time of need. We really do need you guys to step up and bless us back right now. We're in a major building and growing phase and we need all the help that we can get. You can find a copy in the details of the show notes to my book. The words are salt. Leave us a five star rating and review on your favorite podcast, Catcher. That helps us reach one more person just like me and you. And I think it's about time to jump into this episode. I'm ready. Are you guys ready?

Let's go. I am Adam Ferris and I'd like to welcome us to the Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. Adam, you're a first time guest. You have an interesting story and an interesting comic book that you created. Appreciate it, buddy. Appreciate you having me. It's an honor. Yeah. So you reached out, I want to say a few months ago and I got this e-mail from you and you sent me a couple pictures, a

couple pages of this comic book. And, and I remember I just sent you an e-mail back and I'm like, call me. And so we got on the phone, I think within like a day or two of that original e-mail. No, I, I love how that worked out. Again, you know, you, you write something, you get a book out, you know, so how do you get it out? You got to market it. You got to send it out. So I'm just, you know, just

trying to, to get it to people. That was the folks I had to, to make sure that that was the focus the entire time was just getting it to people. And, and then, yeah, it's so great to, you know, you got it and you were interested and so awesome for to, to, to start to see that and, you know, be able to share stories and whatnot. Yeah, so why don't you just start off with telling us a little bit about what you do, how you came to Christ, and then we'll get into this comic book

thing. Absolutely. So again, Adam Ferris, long and short of it, I was led to write a, what I like to say is a really gritty version of David and Goliath and and really trying to capture what happened. If you were standing there beside David, what would it look like? Which is just, you know, it's a crazy endeavor. So to get back to 2022, I'd been a manager at this point 13 years. And specifically, I was a distribution center manager for a tire facility. And I had been there for six

years and was getting burnt out. Was, was, was was, you know, I'm, I turned 40 years old. I was going through all that stuff. It was kind of getting burnt out. It was a union shop too. And you know, I was non union manager and it, and it was took a lot out of me, you know, point, point rest. I was pretty burnt out and I was just trying to figure out my next path. I felt like career wise, I kind of hit my goal. So I'm a goal oriented person. I I'm I'm very I accomplished driven.

So I was just like in idle hands was listening to a lot of stoic stuff and Jordan Peterson and you know, trying to be a better me. I was born and raised Pentecostal Christian, but left when I was 17, kind of went through one of those worship in the pastor not God situation.

And you know, it was, it was, it was really rough and, and as as a person with the way that my mind works it it not that I was burnt on, you know, my faith or anything, but just it was people and and you know, you don't want to get caught up in that, that

kind of stuff. So anyway, so so you know, specifically around this time, I I hear this, this quote from Jordan Peterson. He was talking about, you know, men and being strong and he said, you know, you, you want to talk about strength, be the strongest person at your father's funeral. And and that just really, really stuck to me just quenchingly in that time. But Dad was Dad was alive. You know, everything was going fine. Just that was just hit me.

So then, yeah, it's like about two, you know, two weeks things kind of culminating. And I ended up putting my resignation and I just needed a break. I needed a less stressful job. I got 4 kids, I got a big family, I got a bunch of animals, I got ducks. So, you know, I, I needed a break. So the Thursday before I'm going to start this, this new job, this, you know, in my mind, I'm going to take a little vacation, some me time and just, you know, less stress.

Thursday before I'm supposed to start this job, my mom calls me. They're about two hours away and she's like, your dad's in the hospital. It's looking like a blood clot in his leg. You need to come up here. And, you know, but dad wasn't in horrible health, but he, we had some scares, but he's tough. I mean, my old man was tough. So it just kind of was like, oh, yeah, OK, you know, maybe I'll, I'll come up here in the morning or whatever.

Told my wife, you know, she's like, no, this, this feels different. So I called back up and I talked to the nurse and she's like, yeah, you know, this is one of those things. Come on up. Hopped in the car, made my way up there. You know, was was I'm a kind of a planer. I and I'll go into all that stuff, but like, I was kind of mentally preparing for things. So got up there, saw him, he was hooked up on everything was bad. Got to tell him I loved him.

And, you know, stay strong. You can do it, man. Me and mom, you know, we leave, visited an hour's over, go get a burger, get back to the house, realize my phone's on. Still in silence. I got 3 missed calls from the hospital. Then they call me. Hey, can you guys please come back up? Oh, absolutely. You know, I know what's going on, Mom knows what's going on, but it's you don't want to, you

know? So anyways, we head on up there pulling in the parking lot and they call and we're like, hey, very sorry to do this over the phone. We kind of have to. He didn't make it. It's on speakerphone. I'm right next to mom. Like mom lost her best friend for like 46 years ish. You know, they've been, you know, a long time.

So that Jordan Peterson quote just immediately was like hit me in the head and I was like, all right, you know, I know what I, I know what I got to do. So I had to hold it tight, super tight. Got Mama into the hospital, saw him. He was there. You know, father had passed, you know, he was 63 years old again, wasn't horrible health was, was very unexpected. And and you know, you, what do you do? I just, I knew again, my dad was tough.

I was raised by a tough man. So I just, I knew I had, I had to step up just, it just was there and, and you know, I, I said some prayers, you know, it wasn't at that point in my life, you know, I wasn't, you know, I was a believer. But again, so get back, take care of mom, do the weekend thing, folks, family, blah, blah, blah, pick everything out, which was incredibly, incredibly difficult to, you know, what are you going to do and how you going to do things?

What does he want? What does the family want? You know, a lot of times when death comes, there's family fighting. So, you know, just again, I kept thinking about Jordan Peterson. That quote was like, I got to do this for Dad. I got to I got to keep this together. So did and then had to go start that new job that Monday, you know, smile on my face. Hey, how you doing? Da da, da da da 'cause you know, that's how I was raised, man, and did what I could do for my

family. Got us through, you know, everybody was good. Got through the funeral, then I start to crack because again, I've been holding this all back, holding everybody strong and and you know, eventually it's, it's going to keep, you know, catch up with you. And then plus, you know, the reality of the fact of now I'm dead, you know, and that's what happens in men's lives is when you, you know, the old man's gone.

You're, you're the old man, you know, and depending on how big your family is and you know, how, how everything's set up and that's, that's heavy, that's heavy to, to, to, you know, now I'm the guy people go to. So I ended up having to take, take some time off and just get my mind straight because it had been, you know, I'd, I'd say probably about two months.

We ended up taking a little vacation and, and it hit me hard and was like, I don't know, I'll never be able to do this with, with, you know, the full family ever again. So while we're on this vacation, I, I just kept David and Goliath kept going through my head and, and one thing I forgot to mention, I got a backtrack is while I was going through this self help listening to all this stuff, I was getting a really strong urge to write. And I'm not a writer. It's not my thing by any stretch.

It was just like, you know, cuz at this point I'm a, I'd say a businessman. I'm a career man. So that's just the way my mind had been working for at that .13 years. So I'm just like, oh, you know, you write a book, you know, it's financial realities da da, da, da, da. So I just, I'm just thinking writing, writing, writing. Obviously, you know, we know what was going on now. But so anyway, so, so I'm going

through my, my time. I've taken some time off and I'm spending a lot of time out in the yard with the ducks and, you know, just trying to, to get me better. Can't say enough for my best friend, my wife. She's she so I needed it and I'm not one of those people that puts me first. So she's, you know, like you need this, you need, you need take some time.

So towards the end of it, I'm getting cabin fever and I want to get out and I'm feeling better and some job opportunities start, start coming through and I'm just not sure what to do. You know, I, I could do this, I could do that. I, you know, I'm, I don't have anybody I can go to anymore. I, you know, to, to say, hey, what do you think about this man? Well, you know, blah, blah. So a lot of things, a lot of thoughts, a lot of inspiration was hitting me.

I was thinking about Dave and Goliath constantly and and I just something about this one particular job that was just an amazing, amazing opportunity for my family come through. And but just there was pieces of it, you know, and I'll go into the, you know, like the complexity of like breaking things down, but just there's a lot of details I could tell like this was given this was put here.

It wasn't like, you know, Hey, somebody return my phone call like it just so I remember sitting I was in the shower one time. I'm one of those guys that, you know, one of the people all over the think in the shower and, and just everything's hitting me and I was like, you know, I need some help. I don't know what to do I'm I'm, I'm getting older. I'm feeling my age at this point because my my father had just passed.

I don't know what to do. I feel like you're putting this job here in my, you know, in my, in my path. I feel like all these things like whatever you need, what I'm, I'm turning myself to you. I was like, I'm tapping out, you know, take me, give me, show me whatever. I don't, I don't know, you know, you know me. I don't know what words to say, but you know what I'm saying. Like I just was like, I'm God help me and whatever you show me

is what I will do 100%. And, and then I started thinking about it, you know, just again, the way I, I, my head works. So I was like, all right, well, then what, what can I do? Then what, you know, I keep feeling like this Dave and Goliath thing is just here. So I'm going to do that. And, and you know, and at this point I'm just like talking, you know, I felt like that's the best way I could do to, you know, so I was like, if you, if that's wrong, just show me.

Go ahead and show me. It's all good. But I feel like this is what it is. So let's do that. And I feel like, you know, I'm not a drawer, you know, I can't paint, you know, I have some artistic skill, but it's more of an like AI can build stuff. So I was like, I just I feel like you've been putting writing on my heart. So we're going to do this, you know, and and I'm a big comic book guy. I was, you know, that was my thing about a sports dude.

So I was like, yeah, I think that's that's kind of the way we're going to go. That's the best way that I would, I would be approached, you know, as, as you know, if somebody was trying to reach me in that sense, you know, something a really crazy visual representation would do it. So I was like, all right, that would reach me.

So that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to do my age demographic because I feel like, you know, yeah, this is not a you wouldn't be choosing me to do a Kitty story. So I was like, all right, let's let's just do this thing. And I, I read the Dave and Glide story, I don't know, a million

times. And, and that's when a lot of the, the stuff that we had talked about before, that's when all that stuff really kicked off all the signs and all the, you know, the things which obviously, you know, we're going to go into. But that was it. It just, it started rolling from there and and I had to kind of kind of get started basically. You were kind of brought to the bottom of the barrel and God wanted you to know this is what I'm asking you to do. You kind of had to make this

decision, right? It sounds like a lots going on emotionally. You needed to reflect. You had kind of an ego death, right? There's all this stuff going on where it's like, man, what do you want me to do? And he starts to impress and lead you into this Goliath David and Goliath story, which is, you know. Everybody knows that story all the way from Sunday school all the way up like that.

But, you know, I think there's some graphic that that hasn't been heavily applied to it. You know, this is one thing that I really love about seeing artists getting inspired through, you know, podcasting and through God nudging them and, and all these different avenues where it's like, OK, we have the broadcast, right? We have people we can listen to, to encourage us and to get us to think different about things. But you start putting a visual effect onto that.

And I'm a big proponent of not having a flashing screen in front of you all the time. If we really knew, you know, like Nazi Germany, they wanted ATV in every single house. I mean, all you got to do is a little bit of research to understand what kind of behind the scenes subliminal subconscious things are going on and frequency things. So I really like the idea of getting a comic book out. So I mean, this is where God is leading you, right?

And then there's some signs. Let's talk about a couple of the things that were happening that was like, this is undisputable. You're opening doors, you're nudging me and giving me confirmations about this process. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And and to your point real quick, that's why I only in cover on the the front cover on the inside, the very top thing is Second Corinthians 12/9. And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

That's why that's the first thing that you see when you open this book is because that was, that was what happened. I was, I was, I'm a pretty tough dude, you know, I can handle some stuff. But it was like I gave up. I don't know what to do. And then and the end result was that. So, yeah. So science, man, it was a beautiful, wonderful, amazing thing. And it's still going like this.

So anyway, so it's, it's like kind of, you know, I have a blog to really developed into just like really just structurally breaking things down about the Bible. But so I got started, read this, read the read the David and Goliath story a million times, started going over stuff, started time to to write some stuff.

And, you know, looking at comic books to kind of get an idea of, of, you know, panels and, you know, they call it the flip page, you know, so you're going to hit somebody with something you do, you know, just the structure. I mean, and that's again, that's how I've been looking at things for 13 years is super structured. And, and, you know, we talked about the the the work environment. So I'm just breaking it down and

I start shopping for artists. It's like, all right, well, I want somebody that's, you know, now it's going to do this just for the money that's going to get into it and hopefully get something from it. But but it needed to be more than just his book. Blah. You know, here's, you know, so I start having conversations, you know, just like I do in the work thing is just you start a conversation, see if it goes from there.

And I talked to a few different people and, you know, it was hit and miss and miss and I talked to this one guy and it felt like a good conversation. So I sent him the script and, and it'd been a couple of days. And the main thing that I want to relay was how the, the point of this story was, was faith. And it, I dealt with that the entire time and, and everything, every aspect of this was, was faith. I, I send it two days immediately I'm self doubting. I've talked to a bunch of people.

No one wants to do this. I'm a weirdo. It's a niche and a niche, you know, what am I doing? And I remember sitting on the couch beside my wife and my phone was, you know, sitting on the thing. And I was just in my head and it went through. Check your e-mail. And I'm like, you know, but it it, and this is what I was learning was, was, you know, a lot. You know, a lot of times when God talks to you, it's your head, it's your voice.

And if you're not listening, you think it's your voice, you know, and I feel like, you know, I want to, I want to relay that to anybody, listen to everybody. Listen, I shouldn't say anybody. You know, sometimes he puts it puts you in your head. And that's what I was dealing with. So I'm like, OK, if I check my e-mail and there's an e-mail from this dude, I'm a blow gasket. Like what's going on here? I so I grabbed my phone, check the e-mail and not only was it, yeah, hey, I'm down.

Was he was very, very interested, love the script and complimented how, how this, this script was put together. I've never done that before. That was the very, very first thing, very first script I've ever put together from Google and YouTube videos. And, you know, he's like, Oh, yeah, yeah, I love the structure, blah, blah, blah. So it was like, OK, all right, you know, sorry to doubt. You know, I get it. So then it started rolling from there. We put it together.

And then coincidentally. So one thing about this job was was it was a traveling position. That was one of the things that was really, really good about it was, you know, 4 hours made our day. I'd be behind the wheel. And that, you know, that's, you know, a lot of a lot of good things you can do with that. So at this point, you know, I'm, I'm reading the Bible every day and, and just kind of just picking things apart and learning things.

And, you know, I threw a credit to one hour one book Doctor Randall Smith. Incredible. I just stumbled upon that while I'm doing my my driving. And I know God put that in my path because that ended up being he not only just breaks the Bible down, it's for missionaries. I didn't know that. So I'm just like getting this like super like this guy just came from Israel. Like my wife one day says, you know, just listen to some podcasts, check some podcasts

out. You know, you got 4 hours a day. So, so this is crazy to say it now. I said, you know, I used to read about Nephilim back in the day. I wonder if there's anything about that out there. You know, like I'm so naive, like soup just out of it, you know, just, I'm a working man. That's where my head was at. And little did I know, I mean, I found you found everybody That's, you know, Gary Wayne. I gave Gary Wayne a shout out. I, I ended up emailing him was like, hey, man, I'm super

inspired by your stuff. I'm writing a book, you know, I, I'd like to share your stuff. Do you mind if I give you a shout out? And he's like, yeah, absolutely go for it. So I ended up reaching out to the to the dude and I'm like, man, I got to make some edits. This this story is super complex. And that's when it clicked of why I'm doing Dave and Goliath. And you know, again, since then I've learned more.

It also God wanted me to, you know, God loves David and he wanted me to talk about David, which is that's super inspiring too, of just a, a human, you know, for that, to God's honest truth, for that to be put in my path and be put on my heart is just incredible. But yeah, so I started going down these rabbit holes of, of the story and listening to all these and I'm like, Oh my gosh, This is why.

This is why 'cause I know just as a, as a person, I've heard people quote the Amalekites of like why God is so bad and stuff. So I came across that I'm like, hold up, hold up. And I, you know, I start going down these roads. But anyway, so the next crazy sign was got the, you know, got the, the panels put together and all this stuff. And then I wanted to do like a Sin City black and white, like in your face.

But I'm also, you know, I don't want to call myself artist by no means, but I like things to just kind of flow to like when I'm building something, I don't I like to have an idea, but I like to to be to to be organic, I guess. So I'm, I'm seeing the panel something like no, black and White's not working. It's not it doesn't have the punch, doesn't have the punch. And you know, the financials wasn't a part of it. You know, I don't want to focus on the financials. No, by no means.

But it's like it's just another cog in the scrote, my lamps going out, another cog in the spoke. So just wait. There it is. Edit so color. So yeah, sorry. I'm sorry man, the light messed me up. Take a little intermission. I got to edit here anyway, so let's take a little stretch and just a reset. Yeah, I know goofy lamp just sort of flicking around. Alright, so looking at the black and white, I'm not feeling it.

And then it goes through my head of like you do it, you color and again it just like the the the phone thing. I'm like, OK, OK, you know, because I had been kind of getting an idea of the, the, the direction I wanted to go and I was looking at some watercolor and stuff. And I like, I like that aspect because it gives it more complexity and just more, you know, atmosphere. So like, OK, all right, I guess I'm good at watercolor paint. And I, I took my wife. I, you know, she's, she's my

best friend. I bounce everything off her and it's kind of well, you know, OK, you know, do what you got to do. So I'm laying in bed and it's just hit me, man. I'm like, what am I? What am I doing? I'm writing a book, doing comic book now I'm going to watercolor paint it like, what am I doing? What are you doing, Adam? You know, and I I just closed my eyes and I was like, I was like, please just make a sound. Just show me something.

Do you know, let me know I'm in the right direction And man, immediately like there I heard, you know, like a a little faint sound out in the I live in the neighborhood. So it's like somebody hitting the door or whatever, closing their door. Then there was this this crazy. It was like a trumpet. The only thing reference point I can use it sound like a trumpet, but it was like a like a war

horn like A1 tone deep powerful. It was it was I felt it like it was over top of me. I felt I want to really break down the complexity of that like I I I felt like it was commanding me like it was it it. It made me like it knew me.

It was in the room like it hurt it just when you read in the Bible, when people anytime somebody meets an Angel or thinks they see God, whatever case, they all say the same thing that they drop to their feet hid their face and it sounds like just words, but it's not it's it it is a it's a reactive thing. I can as a God's honest truth tell you right now. I heard it. I heard this powerful trumpet because I said make a sound, but I said show me something. Let me smell something.

You know, he would have whatever it was and and he did and and I hunkered down and and it just it took it took everything it was. And I remember just literally I was like, yes, Sir, 10 four understood, you know, absolutely. And and and man, I just got to rolling from there. I really, really dove into the the the fringe part of everything and and broke down how and what and through genealogy and atavism what happened. And that's again like to to throw about the the blog was a

lot of stuff. I'm focusing on two of of these fringe things. So, yeah, yeah, I got the trumpet got, got the watercolor going and put it out. And well, there was a lot, I'd say he, he, that was another thing that that he, he did for me was bring me a lot closer with my kids. Not, not to say that I wasn't real close, but you know, I never watercolored.

So what I did, you know, I got, I got to thinking about it when I got the watercolor paper and I've told my kids, I said, hey, draw some crazy stuff, fill it up. The wildest things you can think of, flying dinosaurs, you know, everything. And I would just practice watercolor and that stuff. And they, you know, I'm going to love it and put it up on the wall. But it's like, yeah, I'm just trying to figure out how to do this so I don't look like a dummy. Yeah. And and he just kept putting

things in my in my way. The job that I had, I managed different facilities in between a facility, there was a printer, literally a printer company right in the middle of nowhere. You know, you know how country towns are right in the middle of nowhere at this intersection was a printer. So every day I pass this printer. So it was perfect. I would, I would do whatever I would need. I would e-mail him.

I'd stop by and get my stuff, come back, you know, bring it to them, have them scan it in, put it together. Yeah. Kept kept pushing me, kept pushing me. There was lots of times where, you know, I'd get to get the feeling down and like, I can't do this. This is, you know, I want to make you proud, but I don't, you know, and then we'd go to church and then because we, we ended up finding a, a nice church up the

street. And that was another thing that, that, you know, again, I, I, I jumped in, I told him you got me. So we got the family back in the church. He found a nice church up the street. So we, I'd go to church on a Sunday and I would hear exactly what I would need. Like he would. I mean, there was one time and you talked about gifts during the prayer. You know, I was, I was kind of conveying to my wife having some, you know, again, going through some doubts.

And then he starts talking about Romans 12 and gifts and my wife just, like hits me on the leg was like, there you go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get it. I get it. So yeah, yeah. In a nutshell, that's kind of how things went down, man. I know that there's like a lot of emotion behind it.

Like I can feel that. And like when we originally talked, hearing how all of this stuff unfolded and the nudgings are what's so important because what I experienced also, Adam, is everything everybody else experiences, right? Doubt. It's a challenge. You know, I've been doing this show five years. We're coming up on six years, man, just the investment of time and prayer and research and editing, postproduct all this stuff. There's times where I doubt and

I'm like, God, is it working? Is it reaching people? And and then I'll get the e-mail or I'll get in touch with somebody and be like, how did the podcast end up in that person's ear? Like what is going on? And it's like this encouragement. It's like a little fresh breath of air because sometimes, you know, we get caught in this rhythm of the enemies shooting arrows at us. We have a calling and a door to

walk through. Like each one of us has a heavenly scroll with duties written on it about what we're supposed to do. You know, God ordained things for us to do beforehand. We've been sent in and he moves in and through us to complete his will, right. And when we have a generation of people that really need to get a book back in their hands and to have a good healthy rotation of books. Now that's a huge deal for me because I want to get readers reading again.

More importantly, the Bible first and foremost. But there's all this other material that the ancient Near Eastern mindset, the men who were writing the word of God, moved by the power of the Holy Spirit to write the Bible. We're aware of this this this world set. Doctor Michael Heizer talks about that. So when I look at your comic book, you know, and I have a couple others I got like the Kingston series, right? It's like megalithic series, man. They're just boom, boom, boom huge.

My wife ordered them for me a couple years ago and I love going through that. And even your book here, 5 stones, man, I have it right here with me and just getting a visual for what God's doing. So I'm reading the Bible all the time. I'm studying through the word all the time when I get a visual aid. Not saying that this is like verbatim scripture, but I but I know the story. My son's favorite story is whose name is Adam also, and mine is the story of David and Goliath.

So to be able to have this visual aid and this is a little bit gruesome. You said Sin City. I think it's like the 300 movie in a comp, Like it's, you know, it's gory, right? You can't just hand this to anybody, but it kind of is for everybody, to be honest with you. It is, it doesn't overdo it. There's nothing like sexually illicit or nothing like that. It's just it's showing this is a real battle taking place. You know, it's not a metaphorical story.

I believe that David was actually who the Bible records him as a young man in this story after God's heart. And Goliath is 24 digits. And we're talking Nephilim here. We're talking cannibalistic monsters. He had a war reputation. I mean, this is echoing out through the land. He's tormenting the children of God. And young David stumbles in and he's like, Yo, who is this Philistine that is speaking this

way about God's people? And you really do pull that together through the comic book, man. You know, as I look more and more through it and I got to spend a little more time sitting, sitting with it, but just just flipping through and I spent a couple minutes on each page just kind of really trying to understand, you know, the

color's phenomenal, dude. I, I don't even know if I would tell anybody except for like podcast testimonials that that you just autodidactic like just self-taught, man. I just learned my way through this because it actually looks like there's a style to it where it's simple, like some frames are like red, it looks like color painted. There's different fades, you know, tints of the red through, but then others are like really complete, like it's full picture. It looks really complex and

beautiful. And the way that you break that up with these little, like windows or screens within the comic page itself, it looks super professional. I'm going to ask you, you know, you share the trumpet thing, right? This horn or whatever's going off. And this is like the spiritual thing that happens with you. But I need to ask, have you ever had another supernatural encounter that you want to talk about? Honestly, I would have to say the entire thing from beginning to end.

Well, I can't, I'm sorry, can't even say end. He's been showing me so much this entire thing. He showed me what it meant to to go on a walk. He showed me Job kept standing out. Job kept standing out when I was reading the Bible. And then I kept hearing I like to do a lot of random stuff with, with one hour 1 books. I've gone through most of them. And so I'll just randomly pick something. I know he's putting something in my way and he he talks a lot

about what that means. What if you dedicate yourself to God? Can God use you 100% use you for everything for anything, change your entire life? Can he? Obviously the answer is yes, because it's for the better good. You know of the story and you know, I, I put this book out. I go through all that I go through and you know, I don't mind admitting this. Come and find myself a stay at home father. Now he emptied my hands completely to focus on him and sharing the story.

So I, I, to answer your question, I would have to say that's probably the most powerful thing is that he's, he's completely taking care of me and my family and putting this here to 1000% to learn to share, to learn to share. The hardest part for me as a kid was, you know, and I keep talking about the way my mind works was, you know, 13 years, I'm breaking down systems trying to figure out what's happened and how to be more efficient. I, I eventually found out that

he gave me discernment. Discernment, you know, I'm really good at picking things apart and figuring out, you know, why was there a mispick? Why was there a mis ship? You know, I can dive, I'm an overthinker. I can super, super, super dive into stuff.

And when this first started, I was like, hey, you know, this is going to be kind of cool that I can use this, this skill that I have, you know, still looking at it like a human was like, let me use this skill that I, I have to just kind of, you know, answer some things 'cause it was so many, you know, as a kid. We, you know, we all talk about this is how modern Christianity, they don't talk about the fringe stuff.

And man, oh man, man, oh man. I've been on a 2 year journey now of that needs to be focused on that needs, we need all the details. We need all the details. We established that the, the Five Stones book is, is a little brutal, It's a little bloody. Because it had to be I, it had to be, I had to show, I had to answer the questions that I have. You know, why, why I go to church and I hear about all this and this, but then I go to school and I hear that we were Cavemen.

Why is it that the most archaic societies that we find have extremely complex language, you know, like what's up here? So. So yeah. So I'm breaking things down and then I find out, you know, he start with David, then you go down to his cousin, I mean his nephew killed Goliath son. Then you go on down to first Kings 920 and Solomon transcripted the remaining Canaanites, the Amorites, Hittites, parasites, Hivites and

Jebusites to build his cities. What isn't Solomon known for these these huge buildings and these treasured temples. Then you go on down to Jeremiah 5220 and they make reference the weight of the two enormous pillars. The the labor of the 12 bulls were tremendous. They had no way of estimating it.

And then it's parentheses. They had been made in the days of King Solomon. So through this journey, he showed me the little keys to like what was really going down and and we this is so too deep that it, it couldn't be any more black and white. God made everything six days, 7th day he rested. He's still in his resting period. There was an attack on human civilization because God loved us so much.

He gave us this earth and you know he gave us this world. 3rd of the angels were jealous and they've been trying to kill us and take over ever since then. And this is it's it's still happening. We know this. But specifically why is there a bull at Wall Street right? Why back in the day, the two most heathenic who heathenistic things was sexual morality and child sacrifice. That was like the thing. Well, we still had it's still happening, still happening. You know what I mean?

It's it's called abortion now. And I'm not going to comment on on the the good versus the bad. It's not my place. I'm just pointing things out. And then, hey, man, you got only fans. So all that's still here. It's all still happening. And again, that's the amazing things that he's shown me. Reality is not me and you sitting here talking right now. We're a blip. If we get 807090 years out of it, awesome.

But that's not it. Like even at this point now, man, like not that I thought time travel was a thing, but now I don't see how it's possible because you couldn't go forward, right? Because you know, you, the rapture is going to come like I was going to, you know, we all know what's going to happen. So if you went forward, how you can't make that happen. So you couldn't go forward. You can only go back. That doesn't make sense.

You can't do one or the other. So it's like he showed me we are right here in the middle of a spiritual battle that's been going on for centuries. The same people that have been doing it are getting behind new people and the heavy details in the Bible have unfortunately gotten glossed over many different reasons. Some of them are because it's brutal. And, you know, there's a place for the the there's a place for everything. And I don't want to sound, you know, disrespectful, but there's

a place for the love part. There's a place for the, the reaching for people stuff. You know, you, you got to take everything in. We talk about Ogg Bashan, right? Everyone knows about Ogg and it's like, what was he a giant was, you know, Psalms 2212, Psalms 2212 and they, they reference the giant bulls of Bashan.

It's there. So so again, that's what this is really kind of developed to was, you know, I've got some some awesome stories that I'm, you know, I'm a self-publishing person, you know, obviously we clear, we cover that. So, you know, it's not as easy for me to just put a book out. That's again, why I keep talking about the blog because it's not as labor intensive, but I can still get the message out to people, you know, and I just the Super quick reads of just like

connecting dots and whatnot. But yeah, I got a couple other stories that I want to do that that the we're going to get through the holidays. And then I've got a a nasty story on Daniel 3:00 and 4:00 because just the visual of Nebuchadnezzar turn into a man beast. It just beyond the fact of that happened, just the visual of that. I think it's going to be insane. So yeah, I'm just letting this thing go. I'm, I'm all day, you know, good and good out right fundamentals.

So all day I just listen to to him. I listen to stories of the, you know, just let it come in and, and just let it change me and help me understand and how I can explain and how I can share stuff. So yeah, yeah, it's, there's a whole lot more on the way, you know, fingers crossed. And even friend Christian Fringe Christian podcast like this one help a little bit along the way. Huh. Oh my gosh, I can't thank you enough. I can't thank you enough.

I'm just a, a guy that got led to do something and I, I, I did it, I followed directions and you know, I've loved every second of it. You know, even my doubts of is, it's just, it's an honor. It's so humbling that you know, why me? Who am I, you know why, why

choose me? But and for you to give me an opportunity to, to share this is, is just incredible and to, to like it. I'm going to tell you the, the, the best compliments that I've been getting were just that it did it. It helps, helps a visual that it, it helps somebody. I, I sent it to somebody and, and it was basically like this clears up what it looked like for me. I've always had, you know, the, the cartoon image of what it happens and you captured it,

which I cannot believe. And and it wasn't me. It was God, you know, he just, I'm just a vessel. Everybody has this little kid coloring book version of David and Goliath and it's gently and I don't disagree with that. Like I think that the Bible says raise the child in the way that they should go when they grow old, they won't depart from it. I didn't get raised that way, but but God, you know, will save that for another time, right? Like supernaturally drew me in.

But when you really do plant these seeds, you got to be able to plant them in a way that it's resonating with the people that you're planning them with. So when you're you're talking to five to seven-year olds, you know, and they're going to Sunday school and they're looking at these, you know, big bubbly balloon characters of David and Goliath and it kind of looks, you know, cute that that's for them.

But when you start getting, you know, late teens and, and young adults who are like, and I've, I've never had a visual reference for what did the battle David and Goliath looks like. So what happens when you have a 17 year old who's like, loves the Marvel stuff, They love DC. But you know, we have this gap, right? And the Bible's very clear when you read through David, he's sending a stone into the Dome of his enemy, right? It's he's cutting off his head with his own sword.

And then later, I mean, it just goes on and on and on, you know, that this idea of crushing the head of the enemy, it's just repetitive through the prophecies and through how it unfolds. It doesn't happen one time. You know, we just see it over and over again. And I think it's does dis justice to plant seeds to the young kids with bubbly comet, you know, cartoons of David and Goliath, but not introduce respectable material for the the mature mindset as people get older.

You know, that's why, like conversations I have here, I tell people I don't believe everything I've ever heard on my podcast. I try to highlight what people do right, not what people are doing wrong, although an open rebuke is better than in love, right? But but I'm learning as I go too.

And I've made mistakes and I know that the word of God has the final say when I read the details, man, second Samuel, you start going through and David almost gets exhausted and killed by one of these giants who has a new sword. And it's like, what would that look like? You know, I've seen somebody die. You know what I mean? Like there's plenty of the I mean, I was just talking with a brother who's who's boots on the ground right now. I'm give Aaron a shout out.

He he's been on he, he's helps behind the scenes with the podcast. He's down at Hurricane Helene right now and the he's like, bro, I've seen some gruesome stuff, but we're praying. There's a faith in the atmosphere. And so like, reality is life is hard. Death happens. It's not God's plan, but God's plan is to move our hearts to understand these things. And and when we're creating content that leads back to get people excited about the Bible

again. When you go through and you start reading the Bible yourself, what does it look like to cut the head off of a a gigantic enemy who's cannibalistic, who's into blood sacrifice, who's into defiling all the things that got in the land? That's not going to be cute. We're talking about dismembered cut. You know, Gary Wayne would say cutting off the head. I did this episode with him. I don't know if he's been on like 9 Times Now, but it's just

maybe six months ago. And you know, we're talking about removing of the head. The importance of that. Well, I think we do need a graphic for that. I think introducing this through comics, through cartoons, you know, and I'm just excited to see what kind of wave of creativity is going to come out of this. You know, you worked as a corporate manager, dispatcher, You know, you have this big corporate background, and now God has flipped the script on you.

He's got you staying at home, focusing on your household #1 getting your household in order #2 your, that's your ministry. It's your wife, your relationship, your marriage is highest honored, right? We honor God above everything before everything else. And then it's our kids and then our ministry flows, right? And so to see what you, you're producing, what God is leading you to do, how many other men

that's going to resonate with? Well, I'm excited to hear about that, you know, and I'm excited for future projects. You have, I tell people all the time, I am a visionary. I'm big in ideas, but but I have 100 things going on behind the scenes, you know what I mean? And I'm like, I would love to do

collaborations. I'd love to see this thing blow up and you to do, you know, different collaborations with different people and even represents some work that I do here someday, you know, I I'm expecting some big things for you, man. So I just want to honor you and thank you for sharing this journey, for sending me a copy. The only thing I would have, I would have asked different is that you would have signed it. But it's all good, man.

You know, maybe on the next one I'll order and you can do a custom signature for me. And I know what it's like to be self published. I released my book early this year. You know, I know what this entails, the discipline, how thorough you have to be, how, how you really have to take it before God. But then you have to walk it out and make it happen, man. So I'm going to ask you one final question as we kind of

wind down a little bit. I want you to share what you believe is the most important message for the millennial generation today. Man, that's awesome. Again, this entire thing was faith. That was I feel like that's that's what what he wants me to do with each book is to focus on something specific. This one was faith. It was, it hit me at the at my, at my hardest point, my most most down time.

It took everything that I have to do it, you know, yeah, everything I had to sit there and talk to my wife and and and be humble and be like, hey, I got this thing going on. Then it's like what? Like I got a calling the other day, you know, Faith, David, I, I, again, there's liberties taken in the in the in the book to focus on specific parts of the, the story. He showed me what to focus on. He showed me how to tell a story, showed me the story to

tell. You see, I skipped over the armor part with David on purpose. Not that that's not important, because that is an extremely important and that has a whole nother point behind it and it's beautiful part of the story. Everybody that hasn't read that story, if nothing else, believe it or not, you got to read David and Goliath. That's in it's incredible story. But anyways, the faith behind it, the enemy's not holding back. The enemy does not care.

And if the enemy knocks you down, this is something I've been learning. The enemy knocks you down. It doesn't matter to the enemy. He just keeps on going. It's not like God, Adam, they don't even care what my name is. He just keeps on rolling. He's wants to get people down. So and that's just how dirty that that side is. So you just, you got to, you got to put forth and I can tell you 100% two years into this, God is through faith has taken care of me. He he's taking care of my

family. He that's that's what this is about man. Believe in him, believe in the, the, the, the reality of this story. Man, when I read that part about because I wasn't super familiar and when I read the part about Samuel killing agog, not to mention I saw the colors you you mentioned the colors in the story. A lot of the colors were emphasis on points and that's awesome. You saw that 'cause I'm I was died just a punch.

You think about Samuel was like God told you to do something, you didn't do it, so now I gotta do it and he did it. And that's faith. It's just like so and then you see the next page is he it's just a calm color and he's just talking, listening to God. Yeah, there was a conversation, but I focused it on him listening because again, it's faith. Something happened. So he went to God and like, man, what do I got to do here?

And, and just like me and just like everyone else in in the world, I can't say enough for you, man, for having a voice and getting this stuff out here. If it wasn't for you and people like you taking your, you know, your journey and taking and, and having the faith that you had to do what you had to, I wouldn't have stumbled upon, and I believe this 1000%. I wouldn't have stumbled upon what I did had I gone down y'all's roads. I wouldn't have.

I know that first fact. My David and Goliath story would have been, it would have been visually cool, but it wouldn't have been what it was. And it's because what, you know, faith, man, what do you put on your heart? You know, the blurry dudes and you know everybody in this, in this, you know, shout out for y'all doing what y'all did every, you know, people like me, people are listening that that haven't done what they're about to do.

They're getting it. And and and can't thank you enough for trusting and being the vessel man, because again, that's when they clicked. Was like listening to this stuff, putting Gary Wayne, LA Marzulli, you know, hearing this stuff was like, wow, This is why I'm doing this and it, and it really sparked a flame. So faith, man, faith, faith, God's awesome. He's powerful. It's all his, you know, and and I, he's incredible. That's all I can say, man. John 812 I am the light of the

world. He that followed with me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 1/5 And the light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not. Ephesians 5/8 through 11 For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord walk as children of light. You know, I'm really hoping that this message goes out and stirs up the rest of the body who are listening to say, you know what, maybe I'm going to take that

step of faith now. Never underestimate the power of love. I'm going to take this step of faith. I'm going to do the uncommon. I'm going to be a forerunner for the voice of God versus this, this world that just seems to just grip you up and get you focused on all the temporary things that are just doomed to fade away at some point in time. But when we focus on his word, it never returns void. It never fades away.

So Adam Ferris, man, your book, 5 Stones, I'm going to have you send me a link to your blog and to where people can get a copy of this and I'll put that into details of the show notes. We'll, we'll do a future collaboration, you know, sometime next year I'd like to have you back and we'll talk about some other projects you're working on.

And Lord willing, there'll be some opportunities coming up where I'm going to have you maybe do some cover stuff or a little bit of screen writing for some projects we're working on. All in God's timing and planning. There's a lot of big things happening behind the scenes, but not to spoil it, the the bigger the network of people who are following Christ that we have that we can trust to say passion 1st and pay later. That's kind of where we're at

right now. It's the army of volunteers, Adam. It's been an honor. Oh. Man, I appreciate it. I appreciate it so much. Thank you very much. Well, that's it, that's the show you guys. I'm going to ask you to share this with friends, family members, Co workers. Share this one with your teenager or your young adult, child, grandchild, whatever that may be. Get them interested in comics and the Bible coming to you from Southeastern Pennsylvania.

God bless and goodbye. I came from the sun, but one of the only straight from the heavens. He really owed me all of my life. I was beating up all of my life. Life I didn't handle. All in my life I was stuck in on track. All in my life I didn't handle. I didn't know why my life was so wet. I didn't know why my life was a rat. I didn't know why I couldn't get up. I was so stuck. And the monkey was stuck till I found out. And I broke everything till I found out.

And they took everything until I was hurting. My heart was strained. Yeah, I was broke. And I had all this pain held on the to the side in this mode. I had no truth but to look to my guy. He gave me to me. You're open my eyes. He gave me earrings and he told me I'm blessed. He told me he just believe in this guy. I told him I can't change all of my ways. He said I got you to look to this. I looked at him and he showed me his ways. Then he just told me how I am this time.

Then he just told me I'm not in this world. He told me I come from the heavens above. I'm a new creature. I come from the sun, from the one and only straight from the heavens. You really owe me. I came from the sun I was really with them. The heavenly places I'm sealing, y'all can't even go that way. Y'all don't even know that way. Y'all want to play like Patty Kay, but this ain't no game. But it's that way, right? You wipe this on fake when you walk under me and I know you're a snake.

You think you can beat me but you got no power. You all in a way. I take out that chopper I'll put on your top and I'll frake on your face. I see you laughing. You think that you got me, but you got no way. The evil you said for my life is OK 'cause it's made for my good. My God that created he created you so you really is cooked. I said all these things 'cause I know what is true and you know you is cooked. But like I did Cage, when you're done winning games you can never

win. I know the things that's gonna happen to you when you die. You didn't say living your life 'cause you know you can never go and get you know his great day, his mercy was too from you.
