Welcome back to the Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. I'm going to do things a little bit different for this mini episode. I've been doing some reflection, some deep reflection lately and just thinking about the times that we're living in and God just stirring and moving me to just go back to one of the poems I wrote called His Way.
I've never read this one on air before, but really what's bringing me to do this is just realizing the significance of our generation and being born for such a time as this. I've spent a good amount of time covering things like exposing the darkness, the enemy's tactics, what he's been up to for quite a long time. And there's nothing wrong with
that. But the shift that is here in my life is really just realizing the importance of our voice and the time that we've been given, redeeming the time that was lost. So I'm going to read the poem his way and possibly one other short poem at the end. But this is the poem that kicked everything off a few years back. I want to say like 21, possibly 22 early.
I read this to Doctor Laura Sanger after an interview and she prophesied over his way and said it was going to go out to all four corners of the country and then eventually sweep out across the globe. She said it was going to call the faithful higher and the wayward home. And I'm just going to say it's in the book. We've sold the book on a couple continents. I've given away more copies than I've sold, which is it was never about making money with this book.
It was just following what God was showing me, being humble and just being obedient. So if this poem moves you, send me an e-mail let me know. It certainly has moved me and many others who have heard it this far. I'm going to start to read now. His skin he skinned to cover washing one another. Wounded before winding times clock. His love would last, yet blood would drop. Born to us, meek, most consider
this weak. He roamed away from his throne, entering a world that was his own, yet not known. The majesty made flesh here to taste of death. A son of man, the mission, his own. A kinsman, Redeemer without a home. A wandering worker, calloused hands, a growing spark. Mercy in his stature, forgiveness in his heart the way he is. The lion's pride. Behold the Lamb of God to die. Structures shook the earth with quake. The veil was torn.
He took our place. Mighty horns blown, a piercing sound, Echoes of Victory's notes. Renowned, astonished, surprised, gaping gawk. The first of the risen through walls. He did walk. We marvel at the way the Maker paints a perfect picture. Flawless grace, a race to run for eternity's space. How high, how low, the omnipotence knows as the space within the spaces grow. He's risen to the highest height Our God alone could conquer Night. The morning comes, so wake and
rise. Release the fear and wipe the tears from your eyes. Darkness has no power. Now He is risen and hope is found, and that is the completion of his way. And just as a little bonus, I'm going to read another poem out of the book. Page 27 It's called accidentally on purpose. Every moment of my existence is shadowed and graceful. Purpose, the pre written plan of God always floats to the surface. Every instance of blind effort made with hopeful jubilation contains all the divine elements
of a wonderful collaboration. Acceptance and indifference play the opposite roles to keep each other in balance so to attain the actual goals. Reverence and meaningful relations blanket the entire decree, a melting pot of influence that simmers in reverie. Every situation I've encountered has taken me by optimal surprise. Although I have seen it coming accidentally, I'm sure it was devised. So that is this short episode. Just reading two of my poems out of my book. The words are salt.
If these simple and humble poems moved you and touched you in any way, reach out to me. Send me an e-mail or comment on this episode if you're listening on Spotify, or go purchase a copy of the book and keep it on your night stand. Read through it. Many nights God woke me up at 23 AM to write down a majority of these poems just when I was weeping and just crying out to Him. And really, that season never ends if you have, if you have
humility. But this was a heavy season for me. 2020 through about 2022 was most of the developments of these poems that are in the book. It's about 87 pages long in total, but this was my way of just responding to some reflections about what Doctor Laura Sanger prophesied over his way. And really just thinking, you know what? I have the platform. God gave me this ability to be able to podcast. Why not start reading some of these poems intermittently as time goes on and see if it's
helping any of you out there? Lord knows it's helped me. And that's it for this mini episode here on the Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. I'm going to ask that you guys would share this far and wide. Thank you for praying for me, for encouraging, for all the emails, and I just really am humbled and thankful for God to be using a broken and contrite vessel as as I am. I'm nobody special but He who lives and works in and through me, Well, special is an understatement when it comes to Him.
God bless and goodbye. Music. I. Yeah.
