Hello, beautiful people. This is Princess and you are listening to my favorite show, Millennial Mustard Seed, pod casts, thank you. And please leave a five star
review, see you on the next one. This is ease of edification episode 1. So you might be wondering, what is he talking about here on the millennial Mustard Seed pod cast, I decided to do a couple mini kind of like micro episodes like about 15 to 25 minutes long and between these longer hour hour and a half long conversations that you guys. Are used to, I'll be bringing on different musicians. Authors people, next door, local business owners.
The idea is to just edify each other and create the conversation. I also wanted to take a quick minute to do a little bit of announcements here. I wanted to send a huge shout out and thank you to everyone who donated for me to upgrade the equipment right now, I am using a new microphone and I hope you guys can tell the difference. It's Great piece of equipment. And I'm so happy and just honored to be able to continue to show on. I really hope it helps you guys.
The last thing I would ask is, please leave me that five star rating and written review. It really helps with the algorithms who, let's just say when you cover the kind of content that I do, some of these algorithms really don't like to see me move up the chart. So always could you guys help on a good review and word of mouth is really The best way to spread the show, please pass this along to your pastor, a friend, a family member real quick, say a prayer request for all the
content. And just the direction that the show goes, I really feel like sometimes the false Flags come before, the real ones, I really do feel like the enemy can kind of Shuffle in things to distract us or to get us to make a some type of agreement or deal or just to be under some type of bondage. And with this show, the reason I've never charged Dime and just kept all the content free and organic is because this is a journey that I am taking.
I'm literally recording the process of connecting the dots on some of the Lost information and just being what I think I'm called to be. And that's just a man in the days that we live in, who's unashamed and not intimidated by any of the things going on. I really trust in God and I am excited to learn earn more and just see where this path takes me. I am staying organic and Wild and Free Fritos as William Wallace would say, that's what I say also. So that's kind of the
maintenance for this episode. I know, I've never really done any maintenance, or kind of given you guys in the back story on what goes on behind the scenes, but it's about time. So enough of me talking, let's get into this. Some conversation you guys ready? I'm ready. Let's go. Hey, what's going on? This is Ben Bullock.
AKA mr. B. Flat from All About, the Benjamins go to Invictus Ministries and you're listening to the one and only Millennial Mustard Seed, pod cast, he's of edification. Come on, let's go. It is a pleasure to be with you brother. That was a great introduction. That's what's up. That's what's up, man. Yeah, it's so cool to be able to edify each other and man, just bearing each other's burdens in this life is so important that we're reminded and I'm just honored to be able to speak with
you tonight, man. You speak encouragement to me and I got a lot of respect for him. Praise God, man. I appreciate you listening. Trust me when I say the honor is all mine, bro. We've been talking. About this for a minute. So like for me to be able to have the opportunity to come on here. And I honestly just said that, you know, share the stage with you do, whatever the case. It's, it's not that I count short, man.
So, I really appreciate you even thinking about me that had me on here, and, you know, seeing everything that you do seeing everything with your lives, your Facebook posts, and everything else. Like that man is just it's encouraging. The, you encourage me. That's what they're going to shore. So, I just man, I appreciate you. So it looks like you picked the three question. Figure figure we just jump back and forth with each other or
some stuff. Well, you're the first person to do this so we'll find out if this is really good or really bad. Well, yes, the questions addressed this just about anything on anything, right? Yeah II, cool. I got you, I got you. So who goes first, why don't you bless us and go ahead and launch the first one man. Well, I got I listen, I got the first one. I got to know this. If the audience knows this already, then cool. If not then you know, we Got to all get educated right now.
What, bro, you gotta keep me up to speed. What's up with the juicing? Is it still happening? Oh, are you still making it work? Because I was looking at myself the other day and I was like y'all need to touch this cat. I really did like it, you want it before and then I forgot to buy. I'm looking at myself, like I can't do this no more and I need this in my life. So, you know, you got to talk to us. What's up with the juicing, bro? Is it still happening? Absolutely, there's an episode
called health and detox. Local friend of mine. Who's a holistic nutritionist in the reading area? Is such a critical point. We use these terms today organic and, you know, all this stuff, but you got to remember you go back. Even just a hundred years ago. There was no fancy terms. That was just what they had. I think based upon the idea that were in this like microwave Society now and there's so many bad options for us to choose from juicing becomes critical right?
You are emotional health, believe it or not. I learned that the gut in the gut bacteria Syria has a big role in activating depression. So if we have an overwhelming amount of gut bacteria, and we're just consuming bad like fast food and junk, it overall just bad for a house. So yes, the juicing still happens. We get beat, we go. I just had watermelon will get like two or three watermelons and whole lump sum we get ginger lemon and yeah man, the body really craves for that.
Reach out to Nick long, holistic nutritionist at United fit. You guys are going to learn really quick. And for those of you Who are already doing that as listeners, you guys believe in that because you feel and see the result really does give you that extra umph. That caffeine. Just cannot bring to the table. Right. Right, right. Great question though, man. Man, listen, because I need it, bro, I'm like sluggish. I'm like, oh my god, do
something. But my problem is, yo, when we talked about it, you were like, cool. So just for this week, you gotta juice only in the morning and at lunchtime, I'm like, come on, man. That yo, I couldn't do it brother. Hard. You know, we all started a different place. I noticed what we feed first is going to have the tendency of craving the rest of the day so
it goes into sleep mode again. So that's why I recommend like my personal friends and family just wake up make some beet juice, add a little bit of Ginger, you know, at a jalapeno pepper. Whatever you like to do is give it a spice of the kind of flavor that you're into and knock that out. First thing in the morning and then I recommend in the afternoon go with some pineapple
juice. And you know, so, watermelon juice A little more sugar to keep you up, but intermittent fasting is a big part of the tooth, okay, so we'll just kind of go back and forth, right? The way that you've touched me with music, right? So my question to you is, what is the most emotional story of how you playing music and teaching music, being a music teacher? What's the most emotional story? You have of how that's connected and reach somebody else in a way that you didn't think it would
do it initially. Oh, man. That's a deep question because like yo because it's really good question, actually, got a story. Nothing is always been for any listener on here. What not?
Let me encourage you. If you're a musician, be maker producer or whatever the case y'all, I don't care what Rose obstacles, anything like that, that you go through, trust me, what God is giving you, you got it and it's more than enough because if you could take two fish and Five Loaves and feet over 5,000, trust me what you think is small, he gonna turn it into major I remember being 16 years old always wanted. I always wanted to like I always wanted.
I definitely want a guy behind my plane and I would always pray, you know, for God to be behind my playing so that it's not just me that they here but that God does something. I always wanted that, bro, because I've seen it in church. I've seen people I've seen people just hit a note and it changed everything that's going on. You know what I'm saying? I've been around players where did something like that to me. And I was like, wow, you can
really feel God behind that. Like, That's what I want. It didn't I guess I really wasn't confident and what it was that he gave me. Until one time I was funny. It's funny. It's true story. I was out with my uncle's. They took me out to this. They took me out to this like bar / restaurant place where
this band was playing. And like if the band was dope, they were blazing, you know, obviously would it be in a bar / girls, a secular music and stuff but so my uncle's talking to the band and he's talking to the keyboard player and he tells the Keyboard player. Yo you know my nephew plays. He's like yo I'm about to go on break. Do you want to you want to play a keys? And so I was like no, no, no, I'm cool.
And Mark was like, nah. Yo, he just asked you if you wanted to play, may get up there and play and I'm like, alright, cool. So but I didn't know what to like, play. You know what I'm saying? I didn't know what to play. So I play what I knew, I just kind of started playing around like just some church music but just some like as we call it like talk music kind of just
noodling around with chords. So Way, as I'm playing this lady walks in from outside on the street like just in passing walks in from on the street and she was like she comes over to me and she's like, you've been playing all this time and I was like, yes. And she was like, I had to come in here because it because as I was walking, I heard music and it sounded like this was something from God and she was like and I didn't expect it coming from a place like this.
Oh wow. She was like, so when I heard the plan I had to come in here and see What that was she was like, yo there is something behind your plan that God has given you. And and when she said the random lady who I had never met before like come in and say something like that to me I'm like oh and so I'll definitely say it confidence getting to mean not even so much Cockiness. Because to this day I still think I suck. But bro I struggle with it as I know many people do.
Like it's funny. Other people will give you compliments and everything else like that and encouragement and you take it. You receive it but you know it's a struggle bro. Specially like when you see and hear so many other great people, you know what I mean? And it's, it was Ben, that's the biggest insecurity. And it's funny that like, it's funny that the devil will use
one of your giftings. You know what I mean to use it as in security against you to make you feel like you're nothing so that you can't operate. So if you don't operate in it, you know what I mean? You can't use it against him. So for years, I've struggled from there, It just did something that really helped push me little for. So yeah, long story short, I guess that's it. That's beautiful. And the only thing I got to say about that is, there's a difference between talent and anointing.
Yeah, I feel the anointing in your music if it's not a question. Okay, so we haven't, we we've talked at, I know you shared this with your listeners and stuff like that before, in terms of like your journey and what started, you just even just on the path. Of doing, you know, doing right and everything else, like that doing this podcast. So, we're broke.
I remember when you kind of first started it and like, yo, overnight, it just seemed like you're doing just kept growing and growing and growing and like, God just kept doing something. And then even when you were like, well, maybe I'm feel like doing this no more, or maybe I shouldn't do this, no more yellow, you kept going and look what God is doing with it. You know what I'm saying?
When you feel these times in these moments of like, yo, what's the point even when Else can see the fruit and everybody else to see the evidence like, how do you as an individual like, keep going? When because I'm pretty sure, especially to as a father, you know, husband, you know what I mean? After a day's work come home, make sure. And and you know, I'm not saying that these things are burdens, I'm saying these things are
responsibilities, that we have. So, with all the responsibilities, then to still take this on. And then I'm pretty sure and I could be wrong. Wrong. I know for me if that times I see that I don't feel like it's growing or moving away that I wanted to I'll be like you know maybe this ain't it like how do you keep going if that makes sense?
This might have to be the first two part series of a microphone to answer that question because there's a lot of things that happen that are very emotionally involved with that lead towards the answer. But I'm going to try to keep it right on the surface, right and simplify this but one of the scriptures that comes to mind is never despise Small Beginnings. Wow. God's form of multiplication is outside of our domain of understanding.
We bring him a little and he can give it some momentum that you didn't know it had. So for me, it was one of those things where I had questions. I had secret conversations with God that I can't divulge on but the idea is I started to I recognize the difference between entertainment. Yeah, versus real journey real. Us real questions and me being in love with how all of my sin, all of my baggage, all like everything and how God was able to in my weakness.
Make his power known So when I feed myself, it's almost like David. We read the Psalms we can see these ups and downs of his life, but there's some Key Parts like a lot of people in the Christian World Christian he's that we like to take just one verse and be like bow, right power verse but there's a process and I noticed through reading the word in my private time, I see a lot of the times, David is
encouraging his own mind. In God's word, reminding himself of who, God is this Strong Tower.
Believe. Just because God is growing, the way that I think, and the way I process information because like you knew, you know, me, I grew up very secular, we went to a big school, a lot of diversity, a lot of options, my bad things to get caught up in. So honestly I shouldn't be here, you know, I shouldn't be alive according to doctors from what happened to me when I was like 19 and wow, I shouldn't be alive and I am so I kind of like and then I feel this stirring and
then it reminds me of the scripture that says it's him who Who works in us and through us to cause us, to do these things that that are ordained for ya for his purpose. So, I mean, I just literally empty and humble myself sometimes, I'm disgusted with myself, but I really just come back to the word of God and and feed my mind, wash my mind and that word and it just brings a flow out of me where I'm like, nah, I don't even care, like, nothing in the way.
Well, but yeah, that's a great question because a lot to it, but that's know that. That's, that's really Encouraging what you just said. Don't despise Small Beginnings, because absolute you already know much my story and I'm in a journey right now where it's what I want. What I would like to have happen. It may not have happened yet but he's humbled me.
It's humbled me to be appreciative of every, you know, every, you know, Victory, every moment, you know, not despising the small not worrying about others man. Yeah. And I encouraging encouraging is heck, no, absolutely. You know you're a pastor right now your husband Employee a music producer and music
teacher. But when it comes to the ministry, what's the most rewarding thing, you've experienced recently, the most rewarding thing I've seen is seeing Faith activated because at the time when everything started Bishop just died you know with Bishop just dying. Now you know and you already know the Bible says, you know what I mean? Strike the shepherd or smoke was smoking. Shepherding, the Sheep scatter. You know what I mean? As so here it is.
We've been fellowshiping and and doing this thing together for nearly almost 30 years. And now, this is the first time ever in the history of time that we have to move. And and Bishops not here and the leadership that's in place, have to figure out how to work together and they got to move their motives aside. They got to move their flesh aside. They got to move out the way of how they feel about each other to do it, and they're not doing it. And then, on top of that, Of
that through the course of time. Now, I've been labeled as a leader when in fact, as you know you know what is it was a prophet not honored in his own home. Yeah. Whatever the case I'm sitting here leading people that have been that have been over me since I was a kid. Yeah. Who see me since I was like 7 or 8 years old with everything going on with opposition against us with so much turmoil. Trying to figure out finances, trying to figure out, you know, even how did you do the order sir?
Stuff to all these different things that have happened to taking place itself against us. And, you know, it bringing fear into people, it's just been a constant conversation with them about process, about changing your mindset about process. You know what I'm saying? Change your perception about what you deal with and what you go through and every step along the way. Trusting. God, we are at a place. Now, we're at a place and it's only. It hasn't even been a full year.
It's been a few years since Pastor died. Been Pastor for under he, but within this Frame of time has been about like I said a year or so that Pastor died your some months and the turnaround and to change it has happened because we finally got to a place in a point. No longer leaner depend just on each other but we had to lean independent trust in God and to see when we finally came together, when we finally began to pray together when we begin
to activate Faith together. How he's been turning things around, it's been ridiculous. And it's been, it's been the Most rewarding thing. The thing is you got to realize thing, you gotta understand when they carry the Ark of the Covenant on the shoulder to carry it by the polls. They have to make sure the weight is distributed evenly. They have to make sure that they walk and move in sync together.
Now, the instructions that were given in carrying the glory was not based upon, how anybody felt about each other, not based upon. If they were afraid of anything who does, what better than the other person, or whatever, everybody that was assigned had to be in, sync had to be on the same page had to be home. One Accord, otherwise they ran
the risk of dropping the glory. So when we do these things that we do and we move the way that we move, we got to remember and understand that when we're carrying the Glorious, not about who's bigger, I'm not about who's better, but it's about us coming working and activating our faith and moving together, moving in sync to walk together. What less they agree? Wow! That's my answer. That's been the most rewarding thing.
That was the sermon man like smoked the last Some dude, seriously, that's the note because that's the idea of what the small beginning that God put in my heart. Wow. It's somehow kind of in the strangest way he's coming about. Yeah, just like I want to prefer other people's story and I want to actually like, highlight what. I see that there are ability is when the elbow moves, nice and smoothly and it's a healthy process. I don't want to pretend to be a
risk. When I know I may be like Annie Neat. Yeah. Yeah. You know I just want to be a part of the fluid movement of prices going to do and that's a process and a journey. And I don't have barely anything figured out, like I'm kind of just asking more questions.
I have more questions than I do answers, but I have this humility that I believe, God is allowed me to have because of some of the process, some of that stuff that happened behind the scenes, where I'm really just looking to connect mmm, and the truth of what was supposed to connect and Like-mindedness of Christ because of his resurrection, the power. These last two questions, it's on me, you know, you know, we asked the two good ones and then, you know, I got to be
silly. I got a silly one, you know what I'm saying? And you got to beat you. Listen, you gotta be honest right now. I know you are honest, but you got to be honest right now for the listeners everybody that's on here that follows you're about to hear his answer. Are you ready for this? Oh no. What do you got? Hit me. Go. All right, real quick. Here it is. All right, you benching. Jesus comes.
Then challenge you to a weight lifting contest, taking it or no, let everyone is falling down and being like me, who is man that you are mindful of me, would you help me compete against somebody else? So I can break some records. Okay, cool. Yeah, y'all all heard Question for you. If you had one last message to deliver to the body of Christ, you're thrown on the spotlight in a moment's notice and the body of Christ is listening.
What would you say to them? I would say, read your Bible and study and research what it means when he said be holy as I am Holy. Wow. And the reason why I would say that is because we have gotten it to the point and I'll be really quick about this. But we've just gotten to the point where we're starting to muddle and mess with what is considered, holy and some of us think that we can't do it. Forgetting if he's given us instruction, then that means we can carry it out.
Wow. But we look and we read and research scriptures in the Bible more so it will validate our sin rather than turn us away. And I buy it and stop with the Bible was supposed to do, you know. So it's a good possibility that most of us have this thing called Holiness wrong, which is why you see the church and the body. The way that the church in the body is and that's it. I'm done, that's it.
Oh my God, hot guy. Alright, so for the listeners and myself personally because literally we both have to go There will be another micro series how I want to learn what God has put on your heart about with the word of Truth. Says yeah. And I want the listeners to also be challenged to like you said, dig into the word, really, with fear and trembling work out, your salvation to understand what God means when he says be holy as he is Holy.

And yes, for those people who told me, you guys know who you are, I didn't get to finish the whole episode. I was going to the grocery store. I was dropping the kids off, at practice. This is a shorter episode. Cool.
Part is the heart of the podcast, disconnecting, and loving people, and encouraging people. So, okay, Brunel. The best way you got to do it is you gotta do it. You gotta do it, you know, man. Was fantastic, your answers, bro. When I tell you encouraging and encouraging for a time like right now, I'm time that I needed so I I appreciate this more than you even think. Bro trust me, this micro series opens up a whole new world of like these fun or shorter
conversations. That don't take me reading someone's book and and going through you all this research and back, it just makes it more organic. So let's activate the body of Christ in a way we haven't seen it. You know, it's genuine honest, go. Go go go approaching this song different out like the rest, the beat goes so hard.
