Good morning, good evening, good afternoon, whatever the case may be. This is Mike and this is for November 5th, 2023. Na Pod Pomo, and of course it's Mike Dell's world. How you doing? So, uh, here, here's a sound that should, uh, ring a bell. Actually, that's supposed to be a clock ticking, but, uh, eh, doesn't sound so much like that anyway, as you may or may not, uh, have experience depending on where you're at in the world.
But most of us in the US had to do the time change, uh, overnight last night. So there was two o'clock in the morning twice yesterday, or, well, maybe it was one o'clock, I don't know. But, uh, it, it's kind of funny that most of the clocks that I look at on a regular basis auto change, my computers, the tablet, the phone, my watch, television, uh, you know, just most of the clocks. But, you know, there's some that are still analog or not analog, but disconnected,
not paying any attention. I have, I don't know, three alarm clocks, uh, around the house. We use 'em just for clocks, you know, not for the alarm, but 'cause they're nice big displays and you can see 'em. All three of those I had to change. I had to change the microwave, the oven. Both vehicles are all three vehicles, but I haven't, one of 'em is in storage anyway, so that didn't count. And I'm looking at right now, my weather station still, uh, still says the, the wrong time.
And I have another wall clock here in the office that I didn't change yet. But otherwise everything else changed. Even I have an older watch that uses the national whatever, uh, the atomic clock thing and had to, I, I didn't have to change that one. So, pretty cool. Whatever happened to the proposal they had to, to go to daylight savings time all year round and not do any of these time changes anymore. And I dunno, it seems to come up every time,
but I had heard that there was something already in the works for that. But, uh, I haven't dug into it, but I don't know, I guess I don't mind too much. The only, only drawback we have is we've got a couple of beagles that don't pay attention to the time and they think it's time to eat when really it's an hour later, not so bad in the springtime. 'cause the direction of the clock actually, that they, oh,
we're getting fed early until they get used to it. But, uh, now they're waking me up at six 30 to eat when it's normally 7 30, 8 o'clock before they get to eat. Oh, well enough of that. Uh, we will, uh, trudge on to tomorrow's episode tomorrow. Catch me later. I.
