Episode description

The gang is left for dead this week, as they review the movie that finally broke the seal for Leonardo DiCaprio at the oscars. Alejandro G. Iñárritu, The Revenant is up for discussion, chosen by Tyler and it's a first watch for him. The story follows a real life fur trapper, Hugh Glass, as he is mauled by beaten by a grizzly bear, then subsequently left for dead by his party, in the harsh Northern winter landscape of The American Frontier in the 1820's. Would the gang do the same to each other? Was this deserving of a Best Cinematography, Best Directing, and Best Actor trio of Academy Awards? Tune in to find out!
