Episode description

The gang perfects their thousand yard stare this week, as they review one of the most effective war movies ever put to film,  Come and See. Flor is a 15 year old Belarusian boy with a romanticized view of what war means. He leaves his mother and twin sisters to join the resistance again Hitler and his nazi foot soldiers, who are hell bent on exterminating all of the Belarusian citizens. Over the course of the next couple hours, the audience is front and center, as we watch Flor devolve from an optimistic young man, to a broken shell of his former self. Does Come and See deserve the hype? Were the questionable means used to film it justified, or not? Watch along for free at the link below, then listen in.
