Episode 1: Jon Kelley

Jon Kelley is a teaching and learning Coach at Dempsey Middle School in Delaware City Schools in Delaware, Ohio. 

In Jon's previous position as a 6th-grade science teacher, he developed a canvas course that utilized mastery-based learning strategies and provided students with authentic learning experiences. In his program, students earned badges once they demonstrated mastery of a learning target. In Jon's current role, he is developing personalized professional learning opportunities that use badges to recognize educators in his district.
