The following. Here's a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club Cowboys. This is Mick Shot screaming live on Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the official Dallas Cowboys apt Now Here are Bill Jones, Everson Walls, and Nicky Spagnola. And here it is. It's high noon on a Wednesday inside the SWBC podcast studio, and it is officially now Indianapolis Colts Week. Here on mix shots, Bill Jones, Everson Walls, and the star of the show,

the Missouri Tiger, Mickey Spagnola. And yes, here it is it's almost time for practice. Fifteen twelve fifteen practice. Wait, wait, so ever some we're gonna time our first break around twelve open media time for practice, so Mickey can go out there and look at football players on the football field. What was he looking for for two minutes? What are you looking for? Two minute break? Are you looking forward there?

And who? Well, we know there is a wide receiver gonna be out there, yes and right, Yes, there's a new wide receiver on the football field today. You know, you guys tease me a lot, so I'm not gonna I'm not biting. He has the same name as a guy who some say should have been the MVP of a Super Bowl, Super Bowl twenty eight. James James Washington. You know that was so anti clock outside guys, what do you mean? I mean, I thought you were talking

about OBJ coming here. We could send Mickey out with a live view camera and we just do that way. Now you watch practice and talk at the same time out of Lettuce, how boys are having James Washington practice and looking at the TV. Cleveland's gonna have Deshaun Watson practice. I don't know if that's on the same level, but hey, I'll go, I'll by, I'll by, Well, Deshaun Watson is playing this week, James Washington likely this way. That's my point.

Thank you so much. I mean, somebody asked me that question. I go, Well, let's see, the last time he practiced he didn't get through it, which was August August whatever, whatever, And before that would have been January when he was still in Pittsburgh because Rememory got hurt in the off season and didn't do any of the OTAs or mini camps. His leg got caught up with Diggs correct and it was August second, August second, a fractured right foot, fractured

right fifth meta tarsal to specific Jones fracture. Is that No, No, it's not the Jones f it's just a fracture. Oh okay, well it's his own fracture to Washington fracture. Yes, yes, that they did surgery on and put pins in there

to facilitate the healing. All right, And so what it's happened down here at the time, it wasn't a professional athlete deserve it my official notebook, Yes, okay, I wrote down at the time on August second, fractured right foot ten weeks okay, so ten weeks from August second would have been September second was roughly four weeks and so that we're talking mid October there, So now here we are December December, so I think it's fully healed by now.

It has been. They just needed to start his ramp up. And remember they didn't want to do it two weeks ago because then the next week was Thanksgiving and there was no practice. It also shows that they didn't have a need wide receiver to ramp it up earlier too. Well,

they weren't. They weren't pushing it yet, right, but they wanted to make sure that they could use all twenty one days and not lose uh seven in the in the Thanksgiving type deal with the short week, right, yeah, because so we start the we started on November thirty, and so we're looking at I think two weeks. What do you think so yet Indianapolis this week on Sunday night, and then you get Houston the next week and you might be ready for that maybe Houston, if not that,

then at Jacksonville. Right, yeah, for sure, So because that's kind of what they've do. When somebody comes back from a long layout, it's usually two weeks. You practice one week and then you get ready for the next the next week. And that's kind of been there, uh m o there. So we'll see if that takes place. And the second question and the Mike McCarthy press conference, which you heard live here on Dallas Cowboys dot Com Tyrnn Smith.

Oh yeah, close, getting close. So I would think next week at the soonest, so is he ramping up and then he has to ramp Okay, yeah, so that we're probably three weeks away from him. Okay, I'm doing the math on it. On the twenty one day windows, let's say it's next Wednesday, which what's the date in December eighth? Okay, eighth, is that right? Well, no, they're playing on the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh,

December seventh. Let's say they opened his window on December seventh and twenty one days is December twenty eighth, so that would be a plenty an early happy birthday, and that'll be past my birthday, and so that would give him a couple of weeks before Philadelphia, right, and maybe in Tennessee the following Thursday, maybe get ready for Christmas Eve as Philadelphia. Yeah, so that might be the target date, could be the Cowboys Christmas present. See what we do

against that Tennessee Christmas. We're really moving on here, and they hadn't got to the Colts here. Okay. Now, other news that happened since we last convened at noon yesterday, the Cowboys released an edge rusher. Terrell bashamed him. Yeah yeah, um, And I think the thinking there is he was kind

of the edge rusher, kind of designated edge rusher. But with you know the presence of Darence Armstrong right now, Micah Parsons playing a lot of defensive end to Marcus Lawrence Good the development of Sam Williams, and then this might have been the final one is elevating Tack mc kinley from the practice squad to the fifty three. This

pass for the past game. Now he didn't play, but he's on the fifty three, and I think they think he is a better defensive end to set the edge against the run, which is a premium for this team. Right needs to get done and get done better by the way. So I think in their thinking, that's probably why they let Basham go. Now, what't he sick? And he had missed some time? Okay, he it was. I thought it was an injury. Uh, and then he came back,

So we'll see. We'll see if you know, they if he clears waivers um, then they could sign him back to the practice Back in the day, in the situation like that, you would stay out as long as you can because you know it's coming. Right. As soon as you come back, you're gonna get cut. It's like, yeah, remember those days you rehab to get Hey, take your time, dude, Russian. I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready to go. You're ready, you can go. Be ready for the past. As soon

as you can pass that physical. That's because they don't want to pay an injury settlement, right, you got to just prove you're healthy. They still do that, Okay, so we'll see where for that one goes. Um, but I would expect they feel like McKinley's ready to start playing again. And keep in mind McKinley, of course, has the history with Dan Quinn. He was a first round draft pick

of the Falcons in twenty seventeen. Yeah, and it's not like he's some sort of savior or anything, but he just kind of one of those words that Jerry uses an additive to a position that's not all that bad. But they do have to play better against the run. And guess what the cold sal do run the ball right, Jonathan Taylor meet the Dallas Cowboys, And you know when you look at the game, yeah, you know you have a guy like Matt Ryan. He's a very still a

very accomplished quarterback. You know, he's can't move in the pocket nearly as well. You looks a little slow mold like Brady trying to scramble, but the arm is still there and if they're open, he's gonna get it to them. Right. So I mean it's not like we're just playing some Washington generals here. You know, these are these are some decent players that they need to be put down. They don't. They're not just gonna come in, you know, at what the guy was that, Jens Salon, You say, with your

dabber down? What the heck that man? But yeah, they're not coming in with the dibbers down. They're gonna be coming in to win the game and upset someone else's season that we cannot let happen. Yeah, and they and I mean there were several passes Monday night that just got dropped right, they were on the money. Uh So just a team like this, don't even give him a whiff of hope, you know, like we did against Green Bank.

So I'm I think that Green Bay game might be the best thing that happened to the Cowboys this season. Kind of wake them up, wake them up a little bit. Let you know what can happen when you're when you're when you're smelling yourself a little bit too much. Be looking at that record, that's right, especially since it was still Aaron Rodgers. Regardless of what the record was. Well, you're looking at any veteran quarterback really which is Ryan

is one a veteran quarterback. There are certain situations that they get in and it's just like automatic pilot. Oh, I can work this. You're gonna give me this opportunity. I take that right all day long. And that's what they do. And dan Quinn should know something about him. Yeah, there you go, there you go. Keep in mind what

the Colts did ten days ago. Yeah, against Philadelphia. Philadelphia they lost seventeen to sixteen, and it was it was a comeback, right, Ye wasn't that The one Hurts ran in right on the quarterback drop White is six thirty five, right, And I tried to tell I tried telling him over the TV, he's gonna run it. They weren't listening. And so the last three games under Jeff Saturday they have

defeated the Raiders. In his first game twenty five to twenty, they lost to the Eagles seventeen sixteen, and then on Monday night they lost to the Steelers twenty four seventeen. Yeah, the game, the game prior to Saturday taking over, keep in mind who was at quarterback for the Colts. It was Sam Ellinger and he was sacked nine times by the new England Patriots in a twenty six to three loss nine times after they not a rookie, buddy's second

year quarterback, and so there's a difference. Well, I got the over under for Sunday at five. This isn't Sam Ellinger at I know it's not. But I saw Matt Ryan running for his how many how many times will he fumble? Yeah? He has a few turnovers. He does well. This team, you know, it was coached by Frank right, so you have to understand that they do have the basics in mind too. Yeah, you know, to be able to make games winnable. And what you saw with those scores,

you know, those are some respectable scores. It's not like they're just getting blown out. Except for the Ellen game. You're looking at a team that plays well together. Their defense is going to do their best to hold it down until their offense is able to get on track. We cannot let that happen. And by the way, and I just wanted to double check myself, their defense total defense ranking is sixth in total yards, seventeenth against the run,

but fifth against the pass. So I don't know if that means everybody is running against them and they'll pass that much. Well, they do have a couple of good cornerbacks, but they do step on Gilmore. I didn't recognize them with that number five. That was a weird number. Yeah Gilmore, that's the guy that was with the Patriots and with

balling all these years. I'd say, ah, Rogers junior. So yeah, defensively, they've played well most of the season, and that's what when you have a deame with a good defense, it keeps the game in hand for them. And we cannot get into this this um. You know, let's just roll the ball out there, guys and see what's going on. You know, let's see how many stats we can get. This stat game for me, right, yeah, stat game for you. Let's let's see how that goes. You have to be smart.

You're looking at a smart quarterback, a veteran quarterback, and you're looking at a good defense. You know, they only have two games and a good running game, only have given up more than twenty four points. Jackson Jacksonville scored twenty seven and it wasn't enough. They got beat three four twenty seven, and then the Colts gave up twenty six to New England. But everything else was twenty four or less, so they've done a pretty good job defensively.

That was a weird team because I think going into the season you thought, Okay, this team might have they were the pick of getting Matt Ryan. There was a pick of many due that may be the surprise team in the league. Sometimes those offensive line just doesn't seem to hold up. Yeah, And I don't know why why they couldn't see that in the offseason. You got a slower quarterback coming in, a veteran now, but still he

needs time. If you're gonna give him time, I guess they thought the running game was gonna give him that time and the play action and things of that nature. But once again, they're not blocking as well as they were last year. Be careful of those veteran quarterbacks changing teams. Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford last year, yeah, Matthew Stafford this year. Yeah this year. Yeah, worked pretty well tom Brady, tom Brady this year, but Tom Brady would

he moved over? Was we worked pretty well? Pectly, it's not happening in these two spots. This is a different year, It really is. Things are different this year than they were the last two years. You know what time it is practice time for the open media portion of practice. Now, do you want to go now, Mickey or do you want to wait another minute or two? Uh? Everson read the read Oh okay, because you know what it was the k post one, right. I just wanted to make

sure I didn't speed past you. Yeah, okay. We'll have a practice report when Mickey returns on mix shots in just a moment. You know what you're right five times, not enough times for everyone who traded

in rock concerts for their kids recitals. You've compromised enough Pepsi zero sugar. That's what I like. Nobody protects you from Mayhem like All State. You hear that I'm a torrential downpour? back in here very quickly, Micky, what's going on? Practice and trust? They are stretching. They're stretching, so there's nothing to see out the thing to see other than Zeke starting practice the way he normally does on the resistance chords. Tyrn Smith is waiting his turn, and Mickey could not figure out whether Tyrn Smith had pads on or not. It's hard to tell. That's crazy. That's how biggie, that's how big, right, Hey. I have a video of Tyren Smith dancing on an island on the beach, and that

is a huge man. It's just a huge man. His arm it's as big as my thigh. Let's just think about that, bro I sat next to him, the size of a gap. His arm is this fucking big man. His thigh is as big as my entire waistline. You realize, let's just think about that man, all right. You realize when he puts on that elbow brace, it's really a knee brace. See, I'll tell you it's crazy. Somebody asked the question the other day if he's a oh it's one of those movies with the big guys with all

the armor on. If he was one of them, and I forgot. I don't know what the term is. I don't want to watch movies or what movie you're talking about. That's why I can't remember. Okay, but that's what he looks like, like one of those figures on on the movies. He's so big. I bet his you're talking about your waist, what about mine? Could you marry? First of all, you're drinking zero sugar. Are you worried about your weight? Yes? You are. When you get older, you gotta watch those things.

You have to watch your weight. Yes, I mean, I'm sorry man, that's I think. You can drink all the all you can eat all the fast, all the sticky. You see, we got a tour here, Oh, Nate Newton from Frisco, Ate from Frisco. They let him in the building. Yeah, he got in the building. He didn't have to tweet. Uh, it was funny pulling back the curtain here. Nate from Frisco was Uh was just pacing back and forth during that entire exchange between I don't know if he wants

to come in or not. I mean, he's welcome anytime. I mean bags, it's too late. He's killing time and waiting for them to get finished stretching out on the field so we can watch something on the field. Hope he had hope he had just made the loop. He just made the loop. He's getting the second loop. He's getting his steps in right all right? Um, I hope he had his proof of citizenship. Do you want to

do that now? Okay, we'll wait till the next segment. Ok. Bi's got a great mix shot today, but we'll save it for the last segment of the show. Um, speaking of offensive lineman, Yes, Nate and Frisco. Um, how big it brings it up? Because ever since last segment you talked about it's something that the Colts needed to address on their offensive line, or they thought they had addressed it in the third round of the draft by picking an offensive tackle Bernard Raymond or Rayman. I haven't figured

out how you pronounce his name. Yeah, it is Bernard Ryan Ryan, Bernhard Rayman burn Hard Yeah, burr b e r r ber. Okay. The Cowboys made the decision in the first round to take an offense of god, yeah, tackle turned down to play tackle at the guard, and then we'll wind up at back at tackle. Right now, we're talking right now. He's the drafted first round guard, right, thank you, Tyler Smith. He will make the first team

All Rookie team. All right, So how big was that decision when you consider the fact I believe and I don't have the draft pulled up. The next offensive tackle taken was Bernhard Rayman in the third round by the Indianapolis Colts, the third tackle because there was a center taken after him. Tackle. Yeah, yeah, Well they wait to the third round to address it. Well, that was and it gets back to the point where the Cowboys knew because there was a run on all the tackles in

the first round. They knew even though they had Tyler Smith graded higher than where they picked him at twenty four or whatever it was. I think they had him was their sixteenth number sixteen player. On their board. But they knew that you have to take him now because other than that, you might as well wait till the fifth round where they got Matt Well, let's go, you know, to take your tackle because the run on the first round graded tackles was Tyler Smith was in. Yeah. Right,

But how big a decision was that now? Because they could have gone another way if they wanted to. I mean you could you could have signed a Federan offensive guard because the need was at guard, not at tackle necessarily. But if you projected Tyler Smith to eventually be Tyrn Smith's replacement at left tackle, then by golla, you take him now. But you did not know that Tyland Smith

would be hurt. Yeah, I'm talking eventually. Yeah. And so that's why they took him at that point was because they knew Tyran is eventually Yeah, long in the tooth this year, right, Yeah, the future arrived sooner by the first game of the year. Yeah, how big a decision was that was huge? Especially looking at how he's playing right and looks like this guy's playing right, Raymond, right, I think he said Ryan, Yeah, so yeah, but but

then his def Raymond was more of a project. Yeah, Okay, Now you could say the same a little bit about Tyler Smith with the penalties of the end in college and how young he was coming out. But clearly the U, whether it's offensive line coach Joe Philbin and the scouts whatever, they saw a lot in Tyler Smith to work with, and he has come through with flying Colors and league. Why you just said flying league? Why is that what he's considered of success with Flying Colors? I would take so. Yeah.

To me, I would say yes, I just wouldn't sure what around the league. What I see is Tamman Steele over here running down the field anytime he gets a chance, trying to knock somebody out. And you see this guy holding down on the blind side. That's pretty good. He's doing a I think, a good job, boiderline, great job considering the fact that he's just a rookie and one years old. Twenty one. I came in at twenty one. No, big,

So you weren't You weren't taking out Reggie White or anything. No, I was not taking hell No that used to keep him him Nate and Frisco sleepless nights. You got to go up and get yeah, And then the other one was Jerome Brown and he was playing guard. Oh man, he said, I lost more sleep knowing that I had to play him the next day. I'd like to go back and look at those matchups Jerome Brown and then yeah, they talking that noise. He's humble, But Nate handled his business. No,

he did handle his business. Nate. Nate got a lot of pub there on those Thanksgiving things with John Madden right eating his turkey Lake, no doubt, just ripping it off the turkey. He didn't just like Nate because he had a great personality. Yeah, he like Nate because Nate was bawling right and m Smith was loving every minute of it. Boy, you got that ring. Although he loves

what he starts as they ask him about things. He remembers about the Super Bowl and it was the um It was the first one to touchdown to Novo check ninety two one, and he missed his block. At All he could think was, oh, I said, what'd you see the play goes? I don't know, I was on the ground. Could you imagine all the offensive linemen that have been on the ground looking back at somebody like Reggie White going to knock for the best. Oh, that was a melior, right.

But you know, um, and Nate will will say this, you know, he thanks Paul Taglibou or Roselle, whoever was commissioner at that point of them. Um. You know, if you were a three hundred and thirty forty pound offensive lineman, you were real weight. Wasn't prescription weight? Right? And once they got those guys, then Nate, look how big this

guy is and that's natural. Yeah, And think about when the Cove when he came to the Cowboys, because Tom Landry his the heaviest offensive lineman he had, might have been to seventy at that point, right, those guys were rafferty Jerry. Jerry has said when he bought the team in nineteen eighty nine that how many offensive linemen who were over three hundred pounds in the lag You remember what that number was? I do not, But there wasn't

very men. I think it was like four, yeah, that were over three hundred pounds in nineteen eighty nine, and there were none on the Cowboys and eighty six when Nate got here, not a one. And then they ended up with big big Crawford Curt and come on, what's my man named? Man? That's my dude, Gogan was a man. Do you remember when they Gogan got into a fight at the Pro Bowl, Well, Randy White did too. No,

Gogan probably started here. I probably did. You don't get into a fight at the game, yes, during the game, okay, well Randy's wasn't during the game. Off the field, that's when you handled that correctly. That's when you handled that in front of the family of friends. You don't handle that on the football Gogan, if you remember, he ended up eighty seven. I think it was they switched between Gogen and why Dell, like one of them was the run blocker and one came in on Nickel to throw

the ball. I was imagine was more of a run blocker. Yeah, yeah, because he liked them all. Yeah, he liked the White Dell was more quick on his feet. Yeah. You know where Randy White got that instinct for being able to handle his business, whether on the field or off the field. Family his mom, Yes, I remember the stories. Told him I was in Philadelphia game or no, that was Washington.

His brother was Philadelphia. Okay, because he's in the locker room, he tells the story they were in Philadelphia and somebody outside security or whatever he came in and go, go granny, could you come outside your your brother's beating the hell out of somebody in the But the Washington one was some guy dumped a beer on his sister's head during the game, and Mama White, she used to in her purse kept a blackjack. I don't know if people knew

what that was, but it was basically a stick. And at the end, yeah, and they had wrapped like black electric tape in a big ball and she because you could take a grip, and she calls no, so you can hit him like and they said, she stood up and started beating the hell out of the guy. He was on the ground and everybody was cheering, and she guy was hit. I mean something like that. He paid the manster's mom. Yes, the momster. That's good. That's good.

I don't think anyone's ever said that, because I know this old story, because I've heard you saying before. No one's ever finished. All right, Mickey needs to go back out on the practice field and see what's going on now and continue. We paid how much for those lessons? She's doing great? Oh yeah, totally. Can you pass me a pepsi zero sugar? Great job, honey, Oh look at that. That's not the end, No way, Now it's time for

That is November thirtieth, which is tonight today, tonight tonight, elf. I like that movie. Was that? Was that reading slow motion or what? No? Man, it was good.

It was good. Yeah. Yeah. The cadence has to be there. So you don't know about that. You just you just blurt it out. Everything with you. It sounds like a rant. Mine is a read. That's a difference. See the other part of that, though, is when you reinforce, when it is at the end, you know, tonight tonight to night. That's right, m um, what are you doing that? You're at it? Right? Okay? Did that with spags? What's going on here? Because he knew I was looking to see.

This is outdoors, right, I believe like they Tostito's Championship plausa. Okay, so they bring the hot chocolate and yeah, hot chocolate. Man. Cozy up, that's what it says. Getting cozy and joined us? All right? How cozy is it out on the practice field? You know? The sun's out nice and bright and were in shorts today. I don't know about y'all. Always short. Yeah,

he's like the young kids, right. It's it's forty It was forty three when I was driving in well, it was forty some Saturday night at the l s U M game and some of the students were in shorts. It's like, okay, they were warming them they were warming themselves up another way maybe otherwise. Yeah, now some of them were too young. And by the way, they blew Northern blew in last night at about eight o'clock. Yes, we were on the back porch and we had to

batten down the atches. You can hear the wind. I had to take a preemptive strike and start getting leaves out of the pool before I went to bed. So it wasn't like overwhelming when I woke up, all right, So what do you see on the practice field this time? I saw Anthony Barr and Tyrone Smith doing the resistance courts and they were moving awfully well. By the way, Okay, Anthony Bar of course been battling the hamstring for several weeks.

They re injured when they thought ten days ago ago. Yeah, Um, they were doing special teams, so they just took their first break a timing. Is everything right? So ce James Washington, Uh, yes, I saw eighty three, right, it's his number, I think, um, But they had they were just he wasn't on special teams, so they were just kind of off to the side shooting the ball out of the out of the All right, how did you how did you spend your morning? Mickey A check this out unless you guys have had to

do any notice. By the way, I just happened to look at my driver's license and saw that my driver's license was expiring today in two weeks, and I said her birthday, I better start working on this. So last night I tried. It says, oh, you can sign up online, right, So I had to I had to like make log into like three different things to get to the point I could do it online, right. And I got to the point where it was time to register online and it says not eligible, And I do, what do you

mean not eligible? It was? And I kept fighting it nothing. So I found the phone number I was going to call this morning, and I kept trying while I was on hold for fifteen minutes. Right, They never they never answered, right, you're not going to push one for this and two for this, and just on and on and on, and finally I saw something where it said you can make an appointment to go to the DPS site and you time and day, just walk right in, get taken care of, right,

back out. So I and then I looked at the places that were closest to me, and it was like December thirteenth, December fifty, what's two weeks? And then I found one and I said, well, there used to be one where we lived in Carrollton. So I looked up and now Carrollton's the Mega Center. Oh yeah, right, And so I looked and it said it said eleven thirty, meaning today, the date at nine to fifty. So I was like, it's ten to nine. I can make it right,

I can get there in twenty minutes. So I signed up, got my confirmation right here, you're in right, Well, there's some fine print way down here at the bottom that I in my haste. I was like, I didn't look at it. And I got there and at nine to fifty they called my number to go into number twenty eight desk and I go in there and give them my stuff. I'm real out of myself, and the guy that was helping me, he was kind of broken English with a mask on, and so I had to have

him repeat everything to me so I could understand. And he goes, well, I give him my driver's license, you know, and he goes do you have a passport? And I go yeah. He goes, do you have it with you? I go no. He goes, can you go home and get it. I go yeah, it'll take me an hour to get back. And I go, what do I need a passport? It said? He said, you have to have proof of citizenship. I said, I got a driver's license. He goes, no, I need a passport and a birth certificate. Okay,

what And I said, what do you mean? How did I get this? And he goes, well, in twenty sixteen, the rules in Texas changed and you got to have proof of your citizenship to renew your driver's lights. You don't need both of them. I'm bringing both next time, right, And It's like, what I got to do that? How did I get this? And he goes, well, the rules changed, So you know why the rules changed. Well, we live

in Texas and we're worried about people coming over the border. Right, Yeah, you do look like you came up right, Yeah, you look suspicious man. And I was like, are you kidding me? After all this work that I did, did they not have a record of you having lived in Texas since nineteen eighty? He was on the computer and looking, I go, why he goes, because last time you did this, you did it online and you didn't register your passport or your birth certificate. Yeah, right, Like I left the country.

I came over the river, right, I swam through the Rio Grand together left the country. So then he took care of it for you. Oh no, he got me a new appointment. So now we're going to try again on Friday at eight thirty. And I'll let you know the rest of the story. Friday. Yeah, yeah, Friday. It's never you know. And I was it was all going so well, right, I figured I got the appointment. I said,

what are the chances I get in before ten o'clock? Right, And I was gonna, you know, just miss McCarthy's press conference, And nine fifty they called my number. It was amazing, It was that efficient. So everything was efficient until I didn't read the fine print that says, uh roof of It says, in order to complete your transaction in office, you are required to provide the following documents proof of

US citizenship or lawful presence. So now you know that this is a public service, right you guys, check your exactly this check your mickey. I would like to say something to you real quick. Thank you, because I just looked at my license expired. No, the day after years does. Because you're the eleventh. I'm the twelfth. Wow, we got a big birthday week coming up. It's not big birthday month. What what are you guys? What are you? What are

you expiring? Five? Oh? Okay, you're good. I'm good because I think Mickey, this is like your sister the twelfth ye five. See we're the same. Yeah, it's like I'm on your brother's birthday. That's right, you're December eleventh, and then my yours is January twelfth. Yeah, to one day of the week you said, uh, the Texan game mine the eleven. Yeah, he's at and T Stadium, So it won't we will not be convened that. Now you're in

the studio. Now we won't have a birthday cake. But but Producers Supreme Ames is the next day on Mondays. It's January anyway. Yeah, it's the same day as we were ready for the playoffs. And it's the same day as Mickey's sisters lightoff. So his and my sister is the same day, and then me and Rich the same day. Oh okay, how about that and we all were born in Chicago, which is crazy too. Yeah, and maybe that's why I was. I put down Cook County, you know,

and they said, oh, that crooked County. That's where it was known that in a long time county about decade or so. They used to say that all the time. Mayor Daily took care of us. Yeah, okay, okay, we didn't have no strikes. Okay, okay, one minute left the six shots. How would you like to spend it? I got something, Okay, go ahead. Cowboys offense, you remember when they were talking about Cooper Russian and how you know that doesn't need to come back? Right? Since week what

was that seven? Seven? Week one through six? Yeah, we were twenty third in points since since then, first twenty seventh total yards since then, third twenty seventh passing yards since then, sixth twenty ninth and third downs since then, first twenty fifth in points per drive since then first. Now,

that's what I call improvement. Well, with a four and one record, the only loss being in overtime against the Packers of thirty one, twenty eight game in which the Cowboys had a fourteen point on the fourth quarter, so they averaged thirty three point eight points a game third down offense, and this was the one everybody was so worried about. Right, since Dak returned, they've converted fifth d

seven point one percent of their third downs. I've got a prediction as we close out this edition of Mike Show and yards per game four hundred and sixteen since he returned. Second in the NFL. Yes, I was listening to a national show on the way in and they've given the division to the Philadelphia Eagles. I think the Dallas Cowboys are going to win the NFC. You think so? I do. I might be a tie with the Eagles

and we may have to go to a tiebreaker. This this predicts a win over the Eagles, obviously, so they head to head would be even and they at least a loss. For the Eagles, they just need to lose once. Yeah, because the first tiebreaker's division, they've lost to Washington. That's right, So would we have the division record? I could mark it down, but see that, but I don't care if we do, just get in the playoffs. I think. I

think this is the team that can make moves. Just give me, and I don't mean just you would care if the Cowboys got the first round. By yes, I would, Yeah, yes, I would. There's a chance. There's a chance of that. Otherwise they'll end up playing Tampa right now, the team with the second best division record, is that right? If you're if you're the top wild card team, now you play the worst the top Yeah, that would play the team with the worst Tampa right now, NFC South is horrible.

You'd be playing a wild card team. No, you would need the wild wild four would play five? Right, that's right? Correct, which is Tampa right now? Yeah? You know, I don't mind a little a little payback, Yeah, you know, on the way to shutting people up and changing their minds about the culture here. That's the main thing about it. No one respects the Cowboys because we haven't shown to have any type of culture here that has toughness attached

to it. But if you were the division winner, and let's say Minnesota had the first round, bye, they're gonna lose again. Yeah, I think they may lose separate multiple times,

that's right. So yeah, then you would play the seventh seeded right, No, you would get the buy you and if you were second, you would get but but yeah, if you were the second seed, It could be that the Cowboys wind up playing Washington in the last regular season game and Washington and the Gap first round the playoffs could happen if all three of them make it right and right now, Dallas right, and Dallas was the division winner. So anyway, we got it all out, don't care.

The bottom line from this show is don't forget your passport. There you go, and more lessons for you in the next episode of mix Shots coming your way at noon tomorrow, Go Cowboys. This has been a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
