The following. Here's a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club Cowboys. This is Nick Shot screaming live on Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the official Dallas Cowboys out now Here are Bill Jones, Everson Walls, and Nicky Spagnola. We are live inside the SWBC podcast studio. Bill Jones, Everson Walls and Mickey Spagnola has a report on the sun today. There's no music on Monday morning. No, but say what you always say when things go poorly

for this team. The sun came up. There you go. The sun came up today and ain't got much shine on. I'll get what you could also say that, you know, at least we got the losing game out of the way. I try. You want to get that out of your sisters. Plus the game ended on such a positive too. Got a first down on the last play of the game, Elite Davis to avoid another three at hour. Was that maybe the longest run of the game. No, it was

Das nine yard run. There you go, all right, so we've already we've discussed all we need to discuss about Sunday. I guess the Washington Commanders it's time to move on to Tampa. There is no twenty four hour rule this week. It was how long was the rule this week? Probably as soon as you got off the play, I was gonna say it was a four hour rule. It's not a twenty four hour rule. It's a four hour rule. Move on to Tampa. We pulled up to the charter site at twelve twenty five a m. And I would

imagine that's when you got to put that away. But as will discuss going forward, As I wrote in my column, there's a couple of worry some factors coming out of that game that concern me greatly going into Tampa Bay next Monday. Can you speak on that, sir. Let's let's set the table. We're gonna do that, Okay. There's also it's a it's a hard breaking news Monday. Around the league. We've already had a several stories, right of course, Lovey

Smith last night, Houston, Cliff Kingsbury today. Later on in the show we may get into some of that stuff too. And the GM also has resigned at Arizona Steve kim And but that's for later, so jobs open. That's exactly right. It's around the league It is a contrasting day from teams that are out of it and going home cleaning out lockers and teams that are supposed to have a lot of excitement right now, which is included right here

at the Star in Frisco. You got to put that thing to bed yesterday and have some excitement about what's coming up that we're really excited about having that chance. All we gotta do is just win this game. And so they go from that optimism, like you were saying, and now I'm cleaning that my locking that's that's a

that's a that's a big fall. That's right, Yeah, that's right. Um, yeah, listen, at least the plastic bags aren't going into the locker room now now now you're in a mode or you put off the plastic bag the week to week to week and hopefully it's not happening until you after the parade. Then you have plastic bags after the super Bowl, that's right, and after the parade, that's right. All right, we get one ahead of ourselves there especially, but what we saw yesterday.

So now answer ever since question, what was your question to Mickey? What was my question? Ah? What was my question? That's got yesterday. My two factors that concerned me coming out of that game going forward, Uh the offensive line. They need, uh somebody to go place hands on Tyler Beatish and make sure he's good to go from that high ankle sprain that created the offensive line shuffle that which did not work out well was disaster. Oh my goodness, Now that was crazy. Not only could they not run

the football averaging two point seven yards that much? That much two points? I didn't think it was that much. Well, I meant to go back and count how many one yard runs they had and tackles. Yes, it went up because Malik Davis got nineteen yards on five carries, so that was nearly four yards to carry for Malik day. They must have been resting the front four because they were whipping our butts which helped them get to sixty four total yards rushing sixty four um. And by the way,

and Dak had sixteen of that. Yes, a nine yard run I think was one of them. We scared the hell out of him, like how much farther should I go? So Zeke had eight carries for ten yards and Paullard had seven carries for nineteen yards, barely getting his thousand yards season. I think he needed twelve. He needed twelve, and so he wound up with one thousand and seven yards. I thought he was going to end up losing all

of it going back to nine. So once he got to one oh one, take him out of that, I am I am sure everybody is aware that without Tyler Beatish in there, Connor mcgovernn took a step to the right from left guard to center, Tyler Smith took a step to the right from left tackle to left guard, and in came Jason Peters, all forty years old, starting his first game since the last game of last season. And then on top of that, uh, Tyrant Smith looked

like he was struggling with their speed rushers at right tackle. Uh. And so when you can't run the ball, you have to throw the ball. And if you have to throw the ball, you gotta get your quarterback comfortable in the pocket. He never not the one tire game. And even when there was some protection, I felt like he felt there was ghosts around. Yeah, right, yes, and he was making just hurried decisions and throws. We tried to quick release, yeah, and it was it was like he was just trying

to get rid of it. Yeah, it was just because he knew what I mean, I know they only sacked him once and had four quarterback hits. But I would like to see the pressures because I bet it was double digit. They were always around him, always around him, and so that offensive line shuffle and there's really other than getting beatish back in there, there's nothing you can do. It's not like Larry Allen's coming in around the corner, right, I'd like to see Nate come around. Nate, Nate might

be coming around. I want I want to know what his take is on this. And then speaking of the corner, that's my next concern, oh man, because I had flashbacks last night. I was thinking around. I mean, they just they just you know, signed uh Zabra Rhodes. Yes, this will be his third team in three years, a third team in three months too, yes, yes, yes, uh and released by Buffalo you know. Yeah, that was very surprised and they didn't need him. Uh and they tried so

many different combinations. And then on top of it all, Duran Bland in the second half leaves the game with a chest injury and did not come back. Uh. So they've tried Kelvin Joe Seth. They've tried McKenzie Alexander, who now has a I believe it's a strained groin and he spent last week rehabit. So that's what's going on with him. Yes, So that was after fourteen plays, last fourteen plays, and he was kind of playing in the

slot when they moved Bland outside. Uh. And then they decided, well, when it's two tight ends, are two receivers two tight ends, Let's put Bland at left corner, uh and go that way, and then when we go to Nickel, we can move him inside and we'll try somebody else out there. Well, Kelvin Joseph failed. They don't have McKenzie Alexander. They tried niche didn't. He didn't had no defensive snap yesterday. Snap. You're going to have to get him back in there

and you know that. And then they tried nichean Wright with mixed results. I know he had the interception, but he keeps getting beat uh and just not aware. So then they tried, and we talked about it last week, trayvon Mullen who they had picked up and he got scorched. Wow. Right, Yes, they've not given Kendall Sheffield any snaps Bill or even any game time, and we had to look up his first name. Now U and now you know Xavier Rhodes. Is he ready to go? Do they have to take

a look at it? Because if Bland can't go, they're in. And oh, by the way, they're playing Tom Brady. Yes, And I don't care that they're eight and nine. No, uh, it's still Tom going to attack the weakness of And did you ever second and they had they had a rookie quarterback playing his first NFL snaps in his first NFL start. Did you see him throw it? Trayvon Diggs? I think every pass went the other way? Right, he did?

Trayvon Diggs ended up with one tackle, which tells me that whoever he was covering wasn't getting the ball because he didn't have to tackle him. And I think that tackle was on a running play, So that means Sam Hall had to wear with all to say, thrown over there? Oh yeah, I'm throwing over heres. Do the same thing, right and now the same thing, trust me? What I tweeted it. The good news is the Cowboys don't have

to thank Sam All next week. Yeah yea. By the way, and I'll get to where I was going with that ball. I'll say it anyway. Oh why, by the way, there's Mike Evans and Chris Godwin over there also by the way. Yeah uh, And did I not tell you or you brought it up? And then I multiple times said it. You better watch this kid running the football. And what did they do one year rushing? Yeah? Yeah, well you can see it. And they called the place. We all

knew that in this room, we knew that. I don't even know did he get touched on the touchdown run? Let me say so. The cornerback position scares me to death right now. And I and somebody asked McCarthy, don't call me to play cuver before two and I can book the flat. I'm not going any further than fifteen yards. That's it. My latter movement is still okay. They were. They were throwing bombs away there for a while. What is so? How old? How old is Tom Brady? Forty

two forty more? For you are closer to the Saint to Brady's age than what some of these young dbs are, right, you know, right? You think about it, so maybe maybe you are an option. I just gotta be spatted up really tight. Okay, make sure my ankles don't go anywhere. So very important when we get the and Mike McCarthy was asked the question about the cornerback spot and he goes um. His answer was something like, that's a good question. I don't have an answer for you at this point.

So that is a spot, and they exposed it and it'll get exposed again. And so all the crazy crap that happened in that game, right, weird stuff. A punt snap dropped, dropped, a punt hitting the punt returner in the face, Prola pro bola, just fourth and one our most consistent specialties player in a long long time. All of a sudden, he can't catch it. And I get it, you got beat. Fine, but these two things don't go away going into the playoffs. You know, I don't know

that the loss devastates them and kills their confidence. But what caused them to lose the game is what I worry about, and I don't know if they can fix it in time. How did we know that Tyler Biadis was so important to this offensive line? I just think not only him, but what the what the reaction to his loss was because now you've got two other guys basically playing out of position, actually three, because Peters was never meant to start. He was a backup guy at Experience. Right.

I just looked it up, and Brady is forty five years old, and so so you, Everson, are closer in age two, Brady, than all of the active wide cornerbacks on the Cowboys roster, certainly closer than the Sean Right. I looked at all of them, and you are closer in at sixteen. Yeah, that's the only thing you gotta do. That's it. What do you mean, Lovey Smith didn't die

his hair right now? Yeah? What happened to him? Well, it makes for an interesting week the cornerback, because I mean any position on the team you don't want to be in the seventeenth game of the season, basically doing in game tryouts to see who you want to play at cornerback next week and against Tom Brady. Well, the other thing they did, and I think this happened after Bland went out and I knew they were working on this. Their practice squad safety Tyler Tyler Coyle. How many Tyler's

we got on this stage? They started working him as the backup slot corner, and so he got in the game and his awareness on that one crossing route out of the slot. I don't know what he was looking at. But again, it's one thing playing safety. Now you get closer to the line of scrimmage, you gotta be a little bit more aware of what's going on, especially if you're in man right. You know, hey, listen to me.

If you are a cornerback, a young cornerback coming into a game, you should never try to break on any route less than fifteen yards. The first thing they're gonna do is go down town. They're not gonna test you with a curl route, slants and all of that. They are going deep on you. And that's what you need to realize. If you know he's gonna be deep, just line up deeper and go go wait on him. I mean, you can minimize these damages very easily, especially clutch situations.

It's all kinds of coaching points that could have remedied everything that happened yesterday. First of all, if you're getting close to the fifty yard line, what do quarterback still It's not just Tom Brady. They're going to try and get you with the dagger. They're gonna go deep right away, because it's an easy, no brainer. You won't lose much feel position if you don't complete the pass. So just line up deeper and stop being in limbo when you're

out there as a cornerback position. I get it. Sometimes you're afraid, you don't know if you you don't want to get be eating alive by the short route, or if you want to make a quick, quick kill by going deep. Those are the two things you have to worry about if you're in limbo. You your best guests played deep first. It's the top priority. I tell the kids in camp, don't get beat by the quick six. I mean, make it last, make it. If you're gonna

get meat by the quick six, it's over. Think about this, how only completed eleven passes. They didn't ask him to throw like seventeen yard outs or digs. They were short crossing routes and deep balls. And that deepness, for an inexperienced quarterback is the easiest owl. Easiest. You're just launching and hoping. And so credit Scott Turner offensive coordinator or Washington. You know, because you had in what you had on McLaren's the first one, the first NFL pass of Sam

How's career that goes for a touchdown? What happened on that got him isolated? One? How could you get him on a linebacker? The safeties were back there, nobody helped. They didn't want him covering that guy in man, there was no way. There's a lot of holes to pass.

And I thought it was zone and I went back and looked at it and no. Everybody was matched up on who however many receivers they had out there, and the safeties felt pressure because probably the backup defensive backs that they were trying to help cover they had their own problems with them. We can't worry about the linebacker. They got two receivers in the ends only we have to cover. Yeah, and he comes to third, so that's

by design. So you got McLaurin on Mullen for the fifty two yard or right, and that was John Dodson on Tyler Coyle on that way. And let's just be bill, that was a hell of a pass. And it was a hell of a pass, yeah, because he hit that was the one that hit him in stride right, yes, on the sideline. Washington is hoping they just discovered their quarterback for the nearest Well all I know he was eleven of nineteen for one hundred and sixty nine yards. So it's a good it's a good with with what

the situation. They had a quarterback. Yes, that's that's someone that they can work with. Yeah, look at Well, I mean, let's be realized. I mean, defense was on the field so often and they hung in there and hung there was so they had so many negative plays for our defense. I mean, that's enough to help you win a ball game. But when your offense isn't contributing, then you're out there three and ounce three and ounce three and ounce ten times? What? Yeah? What?

What did this game remind you of Denver a season finale? Remember the season finale at Washington fifteen years ago? Yes, and that was that the Cowboys had clinched home first the first round by the number one seed. But Tony

Romo did start that thirteen three season. The thirteen and three season in two thousand and seven, fifteen years ago, that was one of the worst performances in the history of this franch Guys that final score to the Super Bowl and well in Washington actually made the playoffs that year, Okay, but it was a twenty seven to six Washington win. This was twenty six to six. Cowboys had the first round by the next week, and then to your point, then they lost to the Giants. What does the stuff

always happen at Washington? That's what happens with the rivalry. You know, it's the arrival. But those people don't know anything about the rival ry. You think Sam how knows that this used to be a bitter rivalry. Now and they were without their top two running backs two by the way, and three offensive alignment run Well, that's why

I'll the line kind of kind of destroy it there. Yeah, because they had the sacks, they had the pressures, and if you think about it, thanks to um slide missing two field goals and next play now that was up. It was a moment. I'm gonna tell you. The win was weird. It wasn't really the one was a no, it wasn't that strong, but it was going across the field. And then it was swirling because I saw mar make one from sixty in warm ups, right, and then he

misses an extra point. But that guy misses two ugly, ugly field goals. But they tried to let us. They tried to keep us in the bar. But if you take away the touchdown, they scored on the drop punt and the interception returned for a touchdown. The defense gave up thirteen points. My score was thirty to thirteen, by the way, about that something, and mine was nineteen to ten. We were all over it, right, but the defense did hang in there as as many big plays they gave up.

It was thirteen points. Treyvon Diggs picked a click. He shut him down. He did that was thin. I know. I did not win. I did not win the pick to click Everson because and because they retired Sonny Jurgensen's number nine, I went with Cavante Turpin. There's my pick to click. Also, in honor of TCU, I expected to get a phone call from him saying when they saw

he was questionable with an illness. Which is another thing that affected too, because Connor McGovern said he lost nine pounds on Friday and Saturday because he couldn't keep anything down. He was that sick and he played through it because I'm sure he wasn't one hundred percent. What was your pick to click? Didn't matter? Yeah? I don't think it didn't matter. I'm sorry. I didn't realize you're about to say something else. Oh and and Turpin was sick. He

didn't practice Friday or Saturday. Same thing. I'm sure they hadn't sick people on that team as well. Yeah, well they had ten missing. See there you go. So so we're done talking about Washington. No, if you want, I want to, I'm gonna all right, beat that druma okay, we'll do that more of that when we come back here on Mick shots. A little red in it. I couldn't tell it. It kind of has a little purple tinge to it though. To me, Yeah, that's blue. There's

a kind of there's a purple tint to it. Don't you think it's got a flannel? That it is flannel? Yeah, you've been flat. That's the second flash cold in the morning. Well you got povers like these. I wear something different, I was. I don't I have outside of ties and dress shirts. I have no purple in my wardrop because I was gonna wear some purple today for the TCU Horned Frogs, and I couldn't find any without dressing up.

I wasn't gonna dress up in his case, though, you know, as older guys in this building, we want to look a little bit athletic, you know, like you know that that gives more of a grandfather. You know, wait till I come in, you know, like he just came in from from digging up cabbage or something. I come in with my overalls. He's help in the garden, all underwear. Look, come in my yard work. All right, So just a little tease here. I've got a prediction on the National

Championship game. You want to stick around for at the end of the show. You know what I did on the way in days and I'm sure it was totally have a full take. You think it's gonna be on high scores that what you're saying, Is that what you're saying? No, Actually, it was one of those gas pumps that's very slow, and I can't I can't wait this thing out. So I did the whole place. They need, They need to

fill out the whole thing. They did. The truck needs to come in and all right, Mickey is perusing his legal having got past the first quarter. She's how many bad things can happen in one game that are just weird? That was weird, even the first quarter, just the first quarter loan, and that all just kind of continued. So the Cowboys ended up with one hundred and eighty two total yards. Wow, And I was wondering, when's the last time they had less? Twenty twenty October twenty fifth, Washington,

they had one hundred and forty two two games. That was the Denucci game, two games after um Dad got hurt. That got remember, and they were a quarterback carousel always Dalton played songs game. Maybe it was I think Denucci came in after Dalton got knocked out, right right. Yeah. They ended up with one hundred and forty two yards whole season. So I was wondering how many times the Cowboys had less than one hundred eighty two yards in

a game? Yeah? Oh, there must have been twenty of them going all the way back to you know, the beginning of Man. Yeah, okay, there was a whole bunch. I was thinking, Okay, this is going to be. This was Dack's lowest completion percentage in his career. It was his lotal total yardage in his career. Not percentage was also percentage his rating his his it was his yeah percentage, but his rating was the lowest ever. It was forty forty five five eight. He had a forty five seven

his rookie year against the Giants. I remember that game. That was a tough game. That game it's Washington Dalton did start. His rating was thirty six point one in that game, nine out of nineteen for seventy five yards. And Danucci came in. It was actually two out of three for thirty nine yards. But remember he was sacked three times and he was running for his life. This is one of the best defensive lines we will ever. Yeah, but they had two guys missing, I know, but they played.

They played John Ridgeway who had four tackles before. I think that pisses you off right there. They lost Hill act. They had one guy missing because they ed Payne and they had sweat and they had Chase Young Jonathan Allen. Jonathan Allen was all that miss all you need. Those three guys are amazing, and we know they are all und draft picks. You take away one guy and all of a sudden, they're not. What the crap? No, we

knew this is gonna be a tough defensive line to go. Well, what the Cowboys the first time around, they played they scored twenty five points against Washington. If I remember correctly, I would have to double check myself, but I think that's right. Yeah, a home field, you got the natural grass, and it's not on our turf. The confines are not nearly as friendly. And what do you make of that

about not being on our turf? Jason Garrett was talking about it on the pregame show that he thinks one of the problems that the Cowboys have in generating a pass rush is on grass fields on the road. And looking at the Cowboys record in road games playing on grass fields, oh, grass fields, that they can't generalize much. Four of the five losses or on the road, And where are we going next week on the road? On the road again, and where we're going the following week?

They're going to Philadelphia, but at least it will be on turf. What are the chances like the Giants beat Minnesota, Yeah, no doubt about it. You think Seattle can mess around with San Francisco? No, no, no, no, no. San Francisco wins. I can see the Giants beating the Vikings. So then if that happens and the Cowboys win, then Philadelphia gets the Giants right sixth seed, and the Cowboys would get San Francisco and have to play now the Giants coast

on a short grass and a short weekend. Giants just played at Minnesota on Christmas Eve and lost twenty seven to twenty four. Mm. So there's that who knows about minute well, who knows about the Cowboys? Who knows about any of this? You know, as I was looked at that game, I wasn't nearly as disheartened as some of the other strange games that we've had, because this seems to be what we do. We put ourselves in this position and all of a sudden we have to prove ourselves. Right.

It seems to be they test their resilience there you go, right there, their their model resilience right right. Yeah we bring it on and yeah we bring it on ourselves resilience. Well, and think about it. You know, at halftime it was thirteen to six. Yeah, and you're thinking, oh, okay, I knew we were just gonna come back and just just walk them down. And it's like like the last six games, like the Texas game, like the Texas game especially, and

I was like, okay, we'll be okay. Plenty of time after this game, and they start the second half with the three and out right before you go, before you go on, Here's what I would have done after we did that drive at the end of the half. I would have sat everybody down. I really wouldn't have tried to finish that game, because that was Philly was Philly

was ninth. It was nineteen nothing. I think they were sixteen nothing at that time, and then they made it nineteen nothing, right, because that's why nine was nine, because Aaron Andrews asked McCarthy at halftime, it was sixteen nothing and we're gonna I would have sat. I definitely would have sat most of my offense. I just wouldn't have. I wouldn't have. I wouldn't have even that was a good note, a nice drive, Everything worked as planned. He had some hustle players that I thought it was gonna

get hurt diving for the first down. Okay, So so then what you're getting at, what is the mindset in that locker room right now after laying that egg yesterday to me, if you would have sat them down after you made that drive, it would have been a lot more positive than how you failed miserably After that let me tell you. Yeah, they go ahead, there you go, and they stopped Washington three and out. Third and one, they drop Williams for minus two. So now you get

the ball at the twenty three. Zeke has a nice run and Schultz gets called for holding and then it's three and out. They stopped Washington the next time, three and out. The Cowboys go three and out. Washington ends up punting three and out. Dallas gets the ball back unfortunately at the fourteen and now no, that was the he got tackled and the Cowboys go three and out. See this is how you don't generate positivity in that

locker room they're going into this week. Dak Prescott is does not have his legal pad out and telling his teammates that out doing exactly what he is doing right now. See this is what we did. Yes, I get you, Dak. Not not when he got off the plane last night, but when he got on the plane last night, he had he was already spinning this thing positive for the

for the current week because he played like crap. Yeah, that's That's one of the great attributes of Dak Prescott as a leader is no matter how bad it looks, he will he will have a positive frame of mind and then the working next day and it's a contagious always come back to well that's right. I mean, we joke about it, but that is his formula, not just he is, but that's his entire team's formula. Okay, guys, I don't know what the hell just happened, but we

screwed up. We're not gonna screw up like that this week. I won't say it's not gonna happen again, because of course it does. But but is it still the elephant in the room that how bad you played? Is it still the kind of like the elephant in the locker room? And how do you get past that room? Is just like Spags always said, you gotta know who you are. We are who we are. We create this for ourselves and we seem to come out of it. And with this team, it seems like when we are at our worst,

here we come. We write the wall. It seems like the coaches okay, guys, let's get serious now. I mean, but they're always there, but it just seems as if internally they do not feel like this can happen two weeks in a vow and they've never really let it happen two weeks in a vow this year. So so we're coming out ball and coming out right, coming out ball. You'ready to make your picks for next month. You know what. Even even at twenty three six, it was like there

was fourteen nineteen left, they drove. They drove to the Washington forty six. That's a great drive there, all the way, all the way to their forty six yard life, which, by the way, which just one pitch Everson, by the way, was just the second time in the entire game that they got past the fifty yards two first downs in one possession. They only had two first downs in the first half. They're rolling and it's it's fourth and one and they run the quarterback sneak. The was a horrible spot,

terrible spot. The guy came in and foot down to the first down mark. Then he spotted the ball. Six. How does that happen? They gotta left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot man and always said it left foot right. He went on the right foot instead of going on the left foot, which is that's how it happens. Which, by the way, also did you see after Turpin's muff punt?

Uh was shooing on the gay. Yeah, yeah, because they could have called fair catch interference because you can bobble the ball when you call a fair catch, as long as it doesn't hit the ground, you still have the right to catch the ball. But I think they will. And here's my because it bounced into the guy. That's what yeah, yeah, and that's what was it. Pereira was in the booth and that's what he said. Yeah, yeah,

you do get the benefit of that. But unless it bounces off your face mask into the face mask the other player, he had no choice but the grab. Oh I got the ball because they both had it when he went to the ground, right, but he isn't what's that player is supposed to do? The bunk is right in his hits. I don't want to interfere with you. Here you go. Mccrothy was on it. Yeah, I mean yeah,

that's fossil, fossils all over. That fossil knows everything. Every special team's ruling fell backward his back and they were on it. I did like that. Yeah, And I tell you what, another part of that game I really did enjoy. It didn't tell out to be anything, but those two

deep passes in one series. I mean with just back to back deep passes, I'm like, whoa, this is different and the one he almost had man the two he I'm sorry, two of them, right, I mean my son said this, why we why can't we just go for making a great play. I mean, like Noah Brown, dude, he could have caught that. That's the hell of a pass. And he decides to catch it like this for some reason if you keep running, I don't know it's you.

Just when I tracked the ball. You gotta know when you can catch it like this, and then when you can catch it with this, And I thought he had an opportunity to catch it if he would have just kept running. He stopped and jumped. I said the same thing. And then the other thing was the one to Hilton. You know, if he was another inch taller. He asked that as well. I mean, it's job is got up there. You know, we can't be allergic to great plays. I mean it was like the play he made before the

ten the Tennessee game, right, they gave him momentum. Well, I still love his best catches of the Texans game on the nine year Drive. Yeah, that's right, and so as far as I'm concerning, we you know you saw great plays being made all day yesterday. We need to make those. I mean we made it on third and thirty in our stadium. We need to do that on the road. That's when you need those kind of catches.

All right, we have time left here to do whatever Mickey wants to do off his legal pad, plus make a national Championship game pick when we come back on mix shots. We paid how much for those lessons? get rowdy. Okay, here we go. We got three minutes left, by god, how do you want to spend this three minutes? Mickey? I know you want to pick TCU. I didn't. I'm not saying who I'm picking yet. Oh, we got a national championship game that is now less than six hours away. It is a six thirty kickoff tonight at SOFI Stadium. Why sixth I have no idea so they can finish. So that's four thirty. The ten o'clock news starts. I guess it's for the East coast, so that I think

that just tie. The sure's not for the West coast. Four thirty out west. Yeah, and it's a bad rainy day apparently in southern CALIFORNA way it's still rainy. Yeah, of course they got a roof on the stadium. But for those who are going to the stadium, they get to have their umbrellas. And buddy that lives out in Knoxnward I said, so's the ocean come on to you yet? And he goes, no, but the streets are flooded. How amazing is it that TCU is playing in the National Championship? Yes, tonight,

so who are you pulling for? Just as amazing as TCU T two lane beating Southern Cow at the Cotton Bowl. Right, we didn't get to talk much about that game there we No, that was the hell of a game. Will that Southern Cow coach be coaching at Southern Cow next year or that Southern Cow coach that Southern Cow coach? No, no, no, seriously, where that quarterback there are? There? There is one, no, there is one opening that just became open today in Arizona.

Where they quarterback who played for that Southern Cow coach in college? Okay, do you think that Southern Cow coach, who by the way, his brother is that offensive coordinator for the TCU horn Frogs tonight there got there? He did? Come on, he just got there, Where are we going? Is he gonna take that quarterback with him then? As well? There's also rumors about the Rams. Sean McVeigh doesn't even have to move out of his mansion, the Southern California

mansion if that job comes open. So what do you think of that now? Or he could get Kingsbury's house in Arizona. You've seen that one, yes, yeah, oh, so many vacant houses. It was a vacant house next to Davante Adams as well. What do you mean his quarterback? Oh? Oh yeah, yeah he's yeah, they're moving on their neighbors. He's going to Carolina. Okay, So who do you like in the game tonight? Oh? I just pick who I

want to win? Me too. Missouri's not in it, No grabbler Oklahoma, Missouri's in it because they came the closest. That does not. He just wanted to bring that up to you while you were here. He was talking that crap before we were came. Hey, Hey, what what what makes you? How does it have anything to do with you? Guys? MISSOOVII has nothing to do with that. They came with him do with it because we have similar school colors. His school got beat by thirty, all right. They knocked

out the quarterback. Yeah, and we didn't have a backup quarterback. That's part of the who was proven. The next week he gets gotta I gotta go with TCU. You're going with Tcukay, guys, me too. You know what That quarterback for TCU, Max Duggan. It's gonna be very interesting. He's already declared for the draft. It's gonna be very interesting. How high he has drafted and how well he plays against this Georgia defense could go a long way to

determine how high. Remember a guy named Baker Mayfield. He was a number one overall pick, and one of the reasons he became the number one overall pick was how he played against a great Georgia defense in a rose bow where they put up half a hundred points. So does TCU put up half a hundred points against this Georgia defense like they did against Michigan last week? And now they had two pick sixes last week? They do not They're gonna put up forty. They're gonna put up forty.

I don't know if that's how many george you're putting up. Georgia can score okay, if they have athletes on that defense. As I said, I filled up my tank on the way in, so here it is he's got fifty to forty. Well, again, it was a slow pumping up. Okay, the gas was not flowing. Patience. Yeah, I was like, okay, I gotta make it on time for this little podcast I'm doing. So I had to abbreviate my fill up. And this is the number I came at. Okay, the first number

should be the Georgia score. Right, you're the second. No, no, the second because they're the higher seeded team. So the first number is Georgia. The second number is TCU. Here is your final score, if you can see it on my if we get it and watching it is fifty two to forty eight fifty. My amount was forty eight dollars and fifty two cents. So there it is your final score. The Georgia Bulldogs forty eight, the TCU horn Frogs fifty two. The horn Frogs are national champions. You

heard it here. First, where do you sell your gas? That's like three dollars a gallon? It was it was like it was two eighty nine a Gallon's right, Yeah, that's not last time. I think they've gone up. Now he just got It's still the same amount of two eighty ninety gallons, no matter how big your take. Yeah, I thought no, he did the math sixteen point seven gallons times. I thought you're gonna say forty eight to sixteen. Yeah, Walmart Sam's yeah, same thing. So there it is fifty

two forty eighth final school. Right, I got you down. Okay, I thought you gonna say forty eight to sixteen. Why is that because it's his sixteen gallons? Yes, Oh well, okay, that's that's the other option. Or it's either TCU wins fifty two to forty eight or Georgia wins forty eight to sixteen. That's probably more like time to go. All right, here we go. We're we'll have a wrap up tomorrow and we're gonna look ahead Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tomorrow and the next edition of Mix Shots

Go Cowboys. This has been a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys He's Football Club.
