The following is a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club Cowboys. This is Mick shot screening live on Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the official Dallas Cowboys apt Now Here are Bill Jones, Everson Walls, and Nicky Spagnola. And here we are inside the SWBC podcast studio at the Beautiful Star in Frisco. Mickey has a tie on. He's got a cowboy blue tie on, and you know what that means yet TV, it's a dof day for the players. We don't take guys, we do.

We know nothing that that didn't happen. Maybe for Jerry, Yeah, you're dressed up, Jerry, Yeah, And it is a well do we go ahead and fast forward the Chiefs week today. Normally it's day the players come back and that's when things get going on. But this is a big game. See, this is go ahead and this is what happens when you win. There's less to talk about right there there. They asked me that today and it's like, yeah, there's less to talk about. You guys don't have any questions

for me today because there's nothing to complain about. Well, I got something to talk about. Bill doesn't want to talk about it. He knows what I'm going with this because I'm mad this time of the year every year pretty much because oh you got their butts. Well, it doesn't happen every year around this time. You know, it happens in the college football playoffs. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, this is and this is you know what. As I'm watching time as I bring it back to Cowboys very quickly, um,

as I was watching. As I was watching CD Lamb the other day on Sunday, I was thinking, you know what, I remember when the ou offench looked like this, and that's when they had CD Lamb. He got three different quarterbacks to the Heisman Trophy service and one won it for two Yeah. I texted Bill doing the thing he left. He left, He didn't even this is a loyal Oh you com went. He went to a girls baseball basketball game. I left it. Come on early third quarter. Frustration right there,

early third quarter. I said, I'm out of here, no, and she and my wife said where you going. I'm doing the same thing you do when Tech plays a game. And lady said, you know there's a well it was the TCU game. Maybe the it's a Texas game. Tech got beat by Texas seventy to thirty five, and it might have been the last game Texas one. But anyway,

now I don't think they'd beat TCU after that. But anyway, Uh So I came home from working out and I'm figured, oh, she'd be right in front on the couch watching the Tech game, just like she always. She was in the laundry room, and I was like, what are you doing? And then I looked at the score and it was like thirty five to nothing. Oh okay, sorry. You know, well I did the exact same thing on Saturday. I should it should make you feel better than I know.

I didn't. Texas lost to Kansas. Yeah at home. That's unbelievable. At home at home to Kansas. Come on, man, how could I miss that? It was it was late Saturday night. Stuff going. It was late Saturday night, the last game of the day on Saturday night. I think they I think it was what was the there was a long streak of Kansas losing uh two ranked teams or it was like the game. Yeah, I think it was conference games when they were not favored, or conference games probably

on the road. Yeah, that was it. Games executively because they beat Texas five years ago at home, right, and they've had a they had a conference win at home. Well did they almost be to this year? Right? Yeah? Well, I mean so maybe they're turning it around there. You know. It's funny. It's interesting because I I think maybe the two softest teams in the Big twelve might have been the ones that played each other at the cotton Ball about a month ago. Didn't that something? Well, starting to

look that way. That's why you kind of kind of play the whole season out. Well, I have nothing to brag about. My coach just got yeah I tried. Oh no, Brodrick Fobbs has been fired at GS, so they didn't let him even finish the season. Hey man, they like the big white school man. We didn't do. That's what they're moving on so they can get the next guy. Have you set your application? Someone say, how you ready? That's like I I'm not going there. I'm not going

Maybe you could do it from here. Hey, maybe that's the way he did it seems like who won three games? You know, we lost the uap B, which is like you losing to Kansas, you know what I mean. So it's just not a big that would be Arkansas Pine Bluff. Yes, I was trying to do all of you, HBCU challenged people out there. Yes, Grambling State, thank you very much. Also, I just have a list here of stuff to run down. Sam Huff passed. Nobody talked about that. That's some legendary stuff, man,

and that that's a shout out. It was a connection between he, of course and Tom Landry. Uh. Sam Huff, if I'm not mistaken, was the catalyst for the flexed defense when he was with the Giants. When he was with the Giants, they could not stop Jim Brown, which no one could. So you know, Tom Landry, being Tom Lander, said let me figure this, and he was Landry was a player coach. He was a player coach, and so

let me out. He's got this guy, Sam Huff, Hall of Fame, future Hall of Famer, All Pro every year New York Giants, mister everything, We're gonna make you match up against him every time they run the ball. So he designed that coordinated defensive line attack that I hate it as a defensive back, but for the running game when it was on and you had the when it was new, no one knew how to attack it. That coordinated defense allowed your linebacker to not get cut off

as he roams from sideline to sideline making tackles. I don't know how much it improved New York's ability to stop Jim Brown. No one ever really talked about that, but that's who it was designed for. So rest in peace. Sam Huff eighty seven years old, and I'm reading the wire story on it that he basically echoes what Everson

just said. Huff always will be remembered as the ferocious middle linebacker and a four three scheme developed for him by fellow Hall of Famer Tom Landry, his defensive coordinator with New York and later the architect of the Dallas Cowboys Rise to power. So you think they were three man front before that? Everyone? I mean, I wonder if you have to wonder, is he coordinated attack, what was new and innovative or was it the fact that they

just had four down linement. I don't know if that was something not sure we were getting NFL games on team Yeah, I don't know. You had to rundown at that time. Yeah, play by play, I mean because archives one NFL. Yeah, let's not go through that again. Because he would probably play Jim Brown every game. Yeah, and have hun tackles every player he made the tackle. Yeah, going by the way Bill reasons. But yeah, I'm glad

you mentioned that. Drafted out of West Virginia in the third round in nineteen fifty six, so that would have been about the time Landry became the player coach. He was a player and then he also became a coach at the same time coordinating that deepen eight six, Tom, I believe you're close. Yeah, that's a lot of picks, man, you know, especially at the time was getting down man, that's right, I'm not mad. So then we were going over other stuff. Now, okay, you can help me with this.

There was a South Carolina South Carolina South Dakota State South Dakota game or something. Yes, Vanderesh called a hill Mary like this weekend related. Yes, is he related? Okay, probably not, but they said they had the parents had the same names or something like that, so yeah, probably so that Yeah, man, see my research. I just give you more work. Bill. That's vander Esh and this was it was an interception. It was a Hail Mary Hail

marriage game. He caught a hall reason to search v hail Mary, South Dakota State Hail Mary Alert beat South Dakota beats South Dakota State twenty three to twenty on the final play. Caleb vander Esh, let's see, okay, stal cowboy related, I'm not going to I love it stratosphere. So this um okay? Now? Will you look up Caleb Vandersh while you his little deal going? Okay? But how do you they said they tipped it up twice? How do you tip up a hill Mary twice instead of

just knocking it down right? I mean it's not like you were. It's not like it was a tie game. You know this vander Esh is from San Jose, Calified, then that would not be okay. So I got one for you. Yeah. Uh. The Missouri kicker Harrison Mevas. I saw Iowa State had a kicker named Mevas. Now Mevas is not a normal last name, right that you see every day? And what are the chances that two Mevases are out there that are kick m e I s mevs okay? And I think it was Iowa. It was

either Iowa or Iowa State. This is Harrison MeVis place for Missouri and Andrew Mevas place for Iowa State. Exactly the same. Yes, yes, crazy, all right, now you want to know we're playing this is Tuesday. This is Tuesday trivia on mix shots A. Right and Harrisina and Tracy mevs. Okay, the Iowa State kicker. His brother, Harrison is a kicker at mission. They're related. Yes, they're both kickers, right. Yeah. And by the way, yes, I've been told by someone

in the organization that that is lv's cousin. Okay, Vanderesh's cousin. Thank you wait, let me write this down. Family there you go, all rank you Chris and Bill, so you can wait to prove me wrong. You can thank William Boykins, who just text me on that one. Thank you, William. And let me let you know that Harrison's nickname because he's a rather large kicker, the thicker kicker here. I'm gonna drink and I'm gonna drink him because he has

yet to miss a kick. This is the Missouri one. Yeah, nice has yet to miss and has he tried one at Missouri field goal fifty six yards to get the game into over time. I would make you better be glad that's try. They played Vandy. No, they played South Okay, all right, yeah, Okay and hooded Oklahoma play a very good football team. What that Baylor team is a very good they really are, they really are they are. They're hard nosed. Win the Big Twelve. They they're in position

now they I tell you what you know. The Big Twelve gets knocked over the last couple of decades, well probably a decade for not for not playing defense. It started last year. They got some teams in the Big Twelve playing some defense. Now and head coaches a defensive coordinator. Well yeah, and then David ran Dad Baylor and the other one is Oklahoma State. Oklahoma State is playing some defense. So now now so playing out? How does the Big

Twelve look? Oklahoma State? Let you know after Saturday? Um, don't they play each other? Now? They played the week from Saturday week Oklahoma State plays Ou a week from and then Baylor. I can't remember who Baylor plays this but if Baylor wins there, if if OSU beats Ou and Baylor wins out, Baylor finishes with Tech. I can't remember who they played this week, but uh, Kansas State

this week? Um, and yeah, Chris is our Baylor here the uh now I believe it'd be Baylor and Oklahoma State playing in the Big Twelfth Championship at AT and T Stadium in Arlington the first Saturday. They're they're in it. I mean if they went out, they got to put the play Ilwa was there in this championship game they play. Yeah, they're in the championship game. Then, so they're not bocked out. Could they play Oklahoma State twice? Then yes, they could

play back to back weeks against Oklahoma State. Which one do you want? Which one was rather? And that will get the Sooners into the College Football playoff and playing So then Baylor, that was a joke. That was a yeah Baylor, we caught it. So Baylor once again has a chance to Yeah, they represent they're in. They're been

pretty good shape right now. They're big OSU. They got to win their own and um they they're big OSU fans to beat Ou and um yeah, and so they're and the reason why is because os you beat Baylor, trek you beat Baylor by ten and we beat scared Okahoma, Oklahoma by thirteen. So that three points they kicked at the end of the game is that's what's gonna make us because of the soho are the Cowboys playing Sunday. Can't say, oh, okay, the city chief, I got your

tickets on the bus, don't you guys something? Are you going on the bus? Yes, all right, that you figured out your travel plans, yep, okay, because everybody was tripping about the airlines and all of that stuff. So still but no, no one's really had a problem with the airlines, cowboys bus. No, it was the cost, that's right. They gouging. You got all the people from trying to get the kids of city, and so you're all set, Yep, we're going. You're going on Saturday. So tell me this since we're

going by. If we're going on Saturday and we're going to run into traffic going through uh Norman on th I got a game on. I don't remember what I'm out on them. They'll be in they'll they'll be in the stadium, but they don't show up later, right, um, Because if we leave here at eight, yeah, three hours is gonna you're gonna be right in it. You're gonna be right in it. M So, because there's also tailgate, but they should be their bite. There's alternate routes. You

can go seventy five up that way. The closest route, the shortest route is up seventy five. You go up seventy five with the buster. It's his, it's his call job, not mine. Seventy five because you gotta go through Tulsa. Yeah, right, that would be the way I would go. Okay, I'll let them know. Okay, Yeah, it's three minutes faster, three minutes faster to go seventy five anyway, so see from my from my house, it would have been thirty five. Yeah, okay.

Did you listen to anybody on the radio. Listened to Jerry this morning? I listened to Dan Quinn yesterday right after Mike. Do we want to come back with that here in just a moment, because Everson killed the entire first segment with college football, and he had had notes. That's right, man, any NFL notes. They actually, you know, they actually considered me to be a smart person on this show. Not by you guys, but some people. I have more some of the less more topics you would

like to get to. No, No, I did have a joke about you know, Missouri's running back Brown Tree. We talked about that. Did you see his dance? No? I did. That was his Greek dance. Yeah. I think he's Yeah, I think he's omega. He's cute. Dog cut they you know they got He's like, you see these dance. We'll see these two cute man, you see these just this guy him dance like a man. You see what I'm saying. He dance like a like a He was going at it. I mean he did all he was down flipping and

great dancing and doing all that kind of stuff. And I'm thinking on the sideliner in the end, a brace flag, right, I don't believe so he went. He wasn't taunting. He was Oh no he was. No. It was almost like the guy that's gonna get fint He can't get fined in college, can you? Well he can now if you know they get the nil. Now maybe the NFL. His teammate the other running back at the Chargers. Yeah so he okay, well round tree. Yeah no, no, no, Austin,

that's all you say, Ackler. He scores and he goes over to the stands and I don't know if this was a plan or not, but he grabbed a toy guitar, grabbed a toy guitar and start playing the guitar. And I'm going and he put it and he gave it back to the person in the stand. He thinks that's what he thinks that was set up and playing like like the flip phone. Right, was that horror? Yeah? Hit it in the pad, yeah, post No, I think that

was probably. I think it was fur the moment because the good Well did they find Terrell Owens for the popcorn taking it from the guy's pop He did not get fined for that. I don't take something. No, no, he did not get fined for that. But they did find Zeke for jumping in the salvation bucket. And then it's always premited, but it went straight to salvation. Yeah, it doesn't matter. He jumped in, money, jumped in. It's

all the same thing which is coming up. That's right, next Thursday, nine days away, the buckets will be out. What do you you don't call him buckets, kettles, kettles, the red kettle kimpy Right, Okay, it's amazing. routinely efficial. I thought that I was, all right, Mickey, Yes, give us a report on what you heard on the radio this morning. Well, Jerry echoed what Stevens said yesterday. They seemed somewhat optimistic that Tyrant Smith would be able to do a little something in practice tomorrow, do a little something and then see where that goes going forward. So I thought, you think that's something else. Well, you know what, I really think, rehabs have been going pretty well.

You've been impressed with him out the thing run and then you said, d Law Let see d Law tweeted out soon. Um so, and I think we talked about it yesterday, right that you know, start him practicing and by New Orleans or the week after, he'd be ready. Yeah.

And then the next one they got to get going is Randy Gregory, which, by the way, and I don't know if I didn't look at this right, but pro Bowl voting is starting, and I did not see Randy Gregory's name on the list of defensive ends that you could if he's not a defensive He's got five sacks. And you know how they and here's how they do it. They've got the guys like picture and then for defensive ends in the big numeral underneath the pictures their sacks, right,

bless you. Which that's what it comes down to, right, who's ever got sacks is getting votes? Right? And then in little print it's got tackles solo. Right. And I saw the defensive ends and I got to five. You know they did him in order eleven eight whenever six five. He wasn't on there now because they put him on injured reserve. You think they didn't put him on the ballot. That's weird, but that's maybe why they miss it. I mean, yeah, I'm looking at it right now NFL dot Com. And

the defensive ends they've got Miles Garrett's got thirteen. Yeah wow, And they came boy and they call boy and they can't win, that's right. So Garrett's got thirteen, Trey Hendrickson eight and a half, Nick Bosa eight, Jonathan Grenard with the Texans as seven, Brian Burns Carolina six and Gockway six, Autrey five, Max Crosby coming here next week. Yes, Collyville Heritage grad coming home next week for the Raiders. He's got more quarterback pressures than anybody in the league by

a mile. He's here next. He plays on overdrive too, Yes he does. And Everson Griffin here's your man. Has five sacks for the Vikings and Hubbard five for the Bengals. Agba has five and then it goes on to Davenport with four. So it just passes right over Gregory. How does that happen? Interesting? Now? At least I saw Michael Parson's name was inside. They listen to him as an inside linebacker. Okay, he's on there. That does kind of hurt your chances. Yeah, I know, I didn't see anywhere

for a writing. That's the other thing on an inside linebacker. I don't know. I don't pay that close of attention to the Pro Bowl voting myself. Um do they only give one inside linebacker making the team? So that would two or three outside line right, and then the two outside linebackers. And I'm sure that down back up, but that probably comes down. They may take two inside and

two outside, four or outside. Problem. But if so, if you're my point is, if you listen as an inside they only take one or two or the backup, then it hurts your chances of making a team. We at least Parsons is making the team. At least Dak Prescott was among the quarterbacks, which, by the way, that is a tough He has vaulted to number one in the NFL in quarterback rating. Quarterback rating right now is one

ten point eight. He's four tenths of a point ahead of Kyler Murray, and he is four points ahead of Tom Brady. So I think a bunch of these quarterbacks took a dive this past weekend. And what you see is the lack of interceptions on Dak's pot and all of a sudden, everyone else is getting interception happy. He is also number two in completion percentage and number three in touchdown percentage. So but he's right now ranked the number one. Do we move past the halfway point of

the season now he's right in the conversation. In fact, I saw I believe it was a CBS Sports Network show yesterday. Rich Gannon was on there and Steve Burline, the former Cowboy. They were both talking about Dak's chances of being the MVP, that he's right there. Yeah, because the week before they were dismissing him after they lost one. Right, Well, it's so funny. You've got those that are very professional

at what they do. They're not influenced by who they like or who they don't like, and mostly that's by the former players. You know, former players are still upset that or the Cowboys didn't draft me. So I'm gonna have this chip on my shoulder, not just doing your entire career, before your entire life. London Fletcher, They asked him a question. Now, this is a question you must ask honestly. Okay, so who you think has the best chance in the NFC to go to the playoffs? For

some reason, he did not have the Cowboys in there. Okay, you are reporting. I mean, I know he's not a reporter, but as an analysts, Yeah, and I'm gonna analysts. Uh. He said, well, I just can't say Cowboys because I played the Washington Hey, come on, that shut up with that crown All. I just shut up with that. Dude reported the way it's supposed to be reported. Give love to a team, maybe even if you don't like them. Green Bay is still, like I said, they could have

been undefeated already. They still could have been undefeated if it wasn't. But I still say that the Packers, along with their defense and of course the great Earn Rogers, they have a chance to win it. Off man And to that point, Everson, you watched the San Francisco forty nine ers last night and give him love. I told them that they were gonna I told my business partner, were happened to be able for the Niner freak. Then he made me take a picture in front of the

catch of the Hall of Fame. Like, okay, man, business partner, that the Niners have the blueprint on how to stop the blueprint baby, they got it from the Titans, right, Well, it was it was We said it was Beckham. So are the Rams done? Because I didn't see it, didn't say any headlines. Rams finished like they're always so co Oh, Patrick Mahomes gonna be okay. Ram's offense is gonna be okay. Oh those Cowboys being shut up? Man, here's the professional people.

Here's some encouraging rankings. The Cowboys defense is now rank fifteenth in total defense, moving on up. So hey, look I wrote this moving up there you go, you know, and at the beginning of the season, what did we say, can they just be average? Because if they're average with this offense, this team's gonna win a lot of games. And also the other thing that is improved their number ten in points against, giving up twenty one point seven, So that's almost. So they finished last year twenty nine,

say almost. They were thirtieth in points or thirty game last year, so that's almost. You know what, we must have really done well in the second half of the season for us to have any type of ranking, and after the way we still have and their past defense has moved to twenty first, which is ten spots ahead of where they were about the first three or four

weeks that season, as they were thirty first in past defense. Well, and some of that like Philadelphia game, Jalen Hurts passed for a lot in the second half after the Cowboys were way ahead, and that's where some of those stats, especially in the first half of the season even had a little people out. Yeah yeah, and so excuse those total yards the rushing, but it's okay, you go into any game. I don't care how far you go. You know your flaws and that's okay. You know what your

pimple is. You know what I mean. You know you got to mold on your Oh I that's okay. You gotta play with it, and you understand what your weaknesses are and you play accordingly. And here and here from the defensive standpoint that I was really glad to hear Dan Quinn say this yesterday he said, but by no means are we as good as we're we can get so not satisfied. Two of the last three games was very good, holding the Vikings to sixteen points and then the Atlanta the three. So now they just got to

keep improving improving on that. It's just how funny everyone. There are times when they want to give a team that before we play the team, they want to give them some credit like, oh, you better watch out, and then after the game is over, Uh, it's just the Falcons. Well we could have said the same thing about the Broncos. Oh it's just the Broncos. Right, any team could come out and kick it. But as we saw last night, and that's what made the loss even worse. It was

the Broncos exactly. So now here you are, all of a sudden, we're right back where we started. I said yesterday, we should not look at this film, just like we shouldn't look at the Broncos film. It was almost too easy, the way they just suffocated these guys. I mean, they gave up the game plan by the second quarter, and it was like, okay, you guys, you gotta all right, We're gonna just lick our wounds for the whole second

half and go home. And I did see where Matt Ryan's twenty one point four quarterback rating for that game was the lowest one. You could just like spike the ball every every girl, well, yeah, because then you wouldn't have thrown three or two in you go, he had two and the other guy had one. The other guy. Right, So now you look at how well they play against other teams, either before or after they play the Cowboys. And I said it a few weeks ago, we are

still the measuring stick. You know, It's just the way it is. Teams come in here, the Patriots licked their wounds, and all of a sudden, well they want four or five in the world since they played the Cowboys or I think it was the Tampa Bay after that, but they want like four to five after they played the Cowboys. And and by the way, you mentioned the Packers. Today you can buy stock and the Green Bay Packers they're selling shares now. They've got three hundred thousand more to

sell them. Yeah, because they sell them to the fans, right right, Yeah. And you can get for your three hundred dollars a certificate that you can frame and you know, put it on the wall, and you have the right to go to the shareholders meeting once a year. There's no money involved. It's not an investment and people, but an investment, No, you get nothing. You don't get any okay,

proceeds or you're not making money. It's just I was gonna say the one of the owners of the Green Bay Packers, the price will go down theres No, it's going up, is it. The last time they did this was twenty eleven and the share the stock chair was two hundred and fifty dollars. That's after the Super Bowl. Yeah yeah, and now it's three hundred and you can buy as many as two hundred. Well, what does our lawyer doing over here, spanks? What the heck? Is I'm

trying to figure out. I'm trying to figure out something, and we'll talk about it when we come back here. It didn't like my story. I just I'm just totally I'm distracted by something that I saw on the stat sheet that I don't remember from the game the other day. And we'll talk about it when we come back. And I still want to hear what Jerry had to say on the radio and this morning, and when we come back, I bet my number will be up in the queue because I put my I just clicked on it to buy,

and they put me in the queue. It said, we'll call you when it's all over. Ohay, people are just going crazy by he had to buy one. He had to buy one? Okay, more mix shots in just a moment. out there. They are. Last night they had the crews were out and they've got they're probably putting the lights on the tree today, I think, and the whole thing is getting set up. Last night is a great nighttime. November nineteenth is right around the corners Friday. And I also saw a least that there's going to be former players and their families at these different events. Right, I've got that somewhere. I can go down them if we go along here. And I think Jason Witten is scheduled.

He is the twenty seventh. The twenty seventh, I think is the Witten Day. I'll assume that, yes, yes, it would be okay. Why I was distracted last segment. I was looking at the stats from the Atlanta game and it talks about, or it has in there that Zeke threw a pass that was complete, a four yard pass, and I was racking my brain on I do not remember Ezekiel Elliott throwing a pass in that game, and like Robert Newhouse in the Super Bowl, and you know,

a traditional pass. But it was on the that's right and U and it was on the Cedric Wilson when he took the snap from center and handed to Zeke, who then pitched it forward to Tony that was Noah Brown penalty and which called it back, but he got credited for four yards and got the spot right. Uh. The next time you see that play, Troy was doing, have a totally different ending. Yes, they'll do something different

with it, right. Uh. Troy Aikman was doing a game where they one of the quarterbacks through the little right, a little toss forward. It was like a jet sweep. How come we didn't do that? That would have help my quarterback rating. All I gotta do is throw it two yards or not even two yards, it's two inches and give the scorer dispression on that, all right, making you go ahead with your Jerry John said what Jerry

said about the uh about Tyrant Smith. Yes, he also had a very interesting comment about Connor Williams and Mike McCarthy kind of brushed right over, but kind of the same thing because yesterday when Connor Williams came up, McCarthy said something to the effect that at some point in the play, you gotta let up, so I think, And then what Jerry said was about technique, and he said Connor has to learn and basically what he was saying is what's happening is and I think the officials are

now just looking for it, right, he's he's trying to finish off plays, right, and the guy turns and it looks like he's holding them. And I don't think they agreed with at least one of the holding calls from Sunday, And they definitely didn't agree with that bs chop block thing too, So you know, I and I was searching around and I found where did I do with it? The list of penalties like player penalties, right, and of

course he's number one. Of course he has uh, he had thirteen flags, three were declined, so ten penalties lead the NFL um But some of those I can remember a couple of them. They were they were kind of weird, Okay. Then the other thing and the other thing is, so

what happens with offensive lineman? Like he played seventy seven snaps in the game, right, played pretty well, but say you got two penalties, So on seventy five or seventy seven snaps you did okay, right, but you get the two penalties, and everybody's you know, gonna point that out right, like you're not playing well? Well, Dak didn't get touched, right, No sacks, I think helmet was the biggest collision he

had other than scoring the touchdown. Uh, and you can you can play that well, but if an offensive line and gets a holding call, it's like, wow, he's not playing well. Right. Well, obviously he's playing well enough for them to leave him in there. But no one I bet has pointed this out. Guess who has the fourth most penalties in the NFL raters no, as fourth most. It's a cow dag Martin tray Von Diggs. He's got eight penalties, twelve, ten flags, two decined. He's got eight,

most of any cornerback in the NFL. Wow, so eight leads eight picks. He's got eight, right, that's pretty good trade out. We'll take that trade out. Then tied for eighth and it's a ten way tie Terence Steele with six. But he's playing awfully well, right, So perception out there well well comes from with a dB you got the numbers that can set those penalties, so that's something tangible there.

But with an offensive linement with pancake blocks, that would be the only thing that could that you would count to say, okay, that counters my inefficiency. So Cowboys right now are tied for second with eighteen holding penalties. I can't recall Digs having that many penalties. He had a couple of interference, some holding, and illegal contact. It's all prs. It's still a PI to me, it's still a PI. I just don't recall seeing that many. I wonder how many we had back in the day. Yeah, I remember,

we call it my name, Oh my god, it's Queens. Anyway, I thought that was interesting on the penalty park, yes, um, but you know in regards to the holding, we can see that, and we don't have time for them, babe, we can do it tomorrow. Jerry at the end went through this long story on the Preston Road Trophy and how it started. Uh. And I started searching around and I found a picture. I'm gonna see if Chris can

use it tomorrow. And I also saw an interview with Clark Hunt about the Preston Wood Trophy by one Bill Jones. Do you remember interviewing him? Yes? I did. I guess I did that, yes, and he must have been I forgot it. Actually it was pretty good. Questions were good. Yeah, that's just good. We can get into that tomorrow. But it was a nice long Jerry find a bowl like on YouTube or something. It was on YouTube. Okay, it was only four years ago. You forgot. I don't remember it.

And pandemic took his brain right. By the way, the cow Boys or you've mentioned them on the defense being fifteenth, okay, they are tenth and scoring defense now I think I said that too when you were in research. Oh I'm sorry, yeah, okay, that's looks pretty good. All right, That's that's most of my job here, history research. Okay, Well, y'all talk I research. And so you mentioned the Christmas at the Star, which starts on Friday, and so I'm just going to run

it down real quick for you. Starting Friday, Christmas at the Star, Jean and Jerry Jones will be there and that I believe was the lighting of the Christmas tree there on the first lighting of the tree is Friday. Okay, that's that's a big deal. Okay, they use one of those little or you pull the big delivery right. And then a week the day after Thanksgiving, Dixon Edwards and family will be there Saturday after Thanksgiving the twenty seven Jason Witton and family. And what I'm looking to see

what time this starts each night? Um? Well, I thought, I told you, well, at six o'clock Cowboys Christmas Extravagance. It kicks off every Friday and Saturday at six pm. All right, So, and then December third and fourth, which would be the Friday and Saturday after the Saints game. You've got Drew Pearson and family there on Friday the third, Saturday the fourth Joe Looney and family. And then the next week on Friday the tenth, Chad Hittings and family,

Saturday the seventeenth Brady James and family. And the final one. What that? Actually, I'm thrown off on my dates. At Friday the seventeenth, Brady James, Saturday the eighteenth, the final one, the great Dat Win and family will be. I just saw dat. He was the guest last Wednesday night at stock Upstairs good Names. And by the way, I ran into Joe Looney today he was here filming a commercial spot um and UH said, he's, you know, spending time with his family. He said, I got so much time

now I can do all this other stuff. I got another role. And I said, so what do you? Go? Ahead? You go? And I said, so what do you well, what else are you gonna do? He goes, you know what, I'm going back to school because I want to get my degree. I'm going to seminary school. I said, really, yeah, he goes. You know, I've been through a lot in my life. It's good bad he goes. So I think I got some advice for guys to be here, and he's always taken it. Well. Yeah, he's just the most

upbeat guy we had. They had some fat birthday parted. If I'm at the at the start and all the players came through. They were kind of nervous because they have to walk through the crowd. Everybody wants to get all the Grays. They saw him and they would think and Looney was like, hey, he's video. He wanted to stay and you know they have to go for the game the night, you know, that's the night for the game.

I got a job for him. If if Sam that needs a break at Christmas at the Starny could be the at the Star with the oh Man, how many people would come out to for Joel. He'd be He'd be all the time, almost as good as saying himself, almost as good as got the beard. Now got their doesn't need a wig, yes, or or or monkey butt. But on my hair. Have you ever on my face? I have not either. Have you ever heard of that? No? I have not talked about Please don't know, Okay, raw,

it was Rob Week. We didn't know it, all right. That doesn't for a mix shots on this Tuesday, and Kansas City Chiefs Week officially starts on Wednesday. On the next episode, Go Cowboys. This has been a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. You down there,
