The following is a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. This is Mick Shot screaming live on Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the official

Dallas Cowboys at now. Here are Bill Jones, Everson Walls, and Nicky Spagnola, and it is a fabulous Football Friday of Mick Shots inside the s WBC Mortgage studio here at Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Bill Jones, Everson Walls in studio in studio, and Mickey Spagnola as we set the stage for the news of the day which will break after we sign off the air at two fifteen, which happens Jeffrey Day. Can we check? Can we just stop that trend? Can we just not do

the show? I just think you did yesterday when you said that. Well, let's review. Let's go back to last Friday. Okay, what happened after we signed off last Friday? We got the news on well the official news on Michael Gallup. We already knew he was hurting. They gave the night before, but Lyle Collins and on Monday we at the Randy Gregory news. Then after the show Tuesday or Wednesday, it was DeMarcus Lawrence. So then yesterday we get some more news. We find out that Ty and Secky had some sort

of heat exhaustion in the training room. They were given out ivs. It was hot yesterday, I think it was very humid too, and it was a padded practice and evidently got dehydrated. And so when we finished here yesterday, I walked outside because they were supposed to do player interviews and I saw, oh, Dak's still going. So sitting there talking with Dak, and as we're talking to him the length of the building the far north or west, I guess it is all of a sudden, one of

the emergency units comes rolling in. I don't know if you saw it before you left, and it's like and then it turned the corner at the end of the building, turned left, and you could see Dak's eyes kind of lighting, I mean they were getting wide, like and he was losing concentration on his answer. And then it stopped right in front of the entrance to where the locker room is and it's like, oh no, and you know and Lieu of what happened last year with Marcus Paul, it

was like, are you kidding me? And so uh they kind of abruptly ended Dak's press conference or his his interview cleared and everybody left, but we could see the thing was still sitting there and um, and then the stretcher went in and it came out it was tyni Seck. They were taking him the hospital and um, as Mike McCarthy explained, Uh, you know, he was having heat problems. Um, probably you know, dehydrated and uh ended up spending the

night in the hospital and was released this morning. And as Mike said, he would not be available to go to LA this weekend. So it's got to be pretty serious. I mean, usually you have a little dehydration and right, you okay because because they got an iv room, right and they just put guys in ivy rooms and and Mike really he said, you know, you didn't know much about it until you know, somebody told him. So yeah, Uh,

it was scary there for a while. And uh so but that's what happened after we signed off once again. But hopefully everything's okay with Tyniseck and uh, but again he has been ruled out for some day's game and hopefully of a good weekend and be back at it. Next week, Yeah, regain his strength or whatever. And you know I thought that you know, that heat stuff scary, um, but you would think that the worst would be over.

I mean, we've had some horrible days, right and even after they came back from training count and for him to go down now it's unusual. Well, when I looked at the temperature when you called and told me what was going on, and it was around ninety degrees I think at that point, which is what for Dallas. But like Micky said, but I did walking walking to the parking lot, I was like, well it was hot out

on that practice field today. It felt hot yesterday and so um, you know, I don't know they're um, did they have anyone else who was complaining at all about that they had? I mean I think, um, someone said, Zeke went in for an ivy Um. So there was several guys getting naives yesterday after and then push the zeke after wearing the right sea and maybe put out a T shirt and shorts, you know, so you don't sweat.

We had to do all of that stuff so we could make weight back in the day, you know, go spend the time jumping into the sauna, you know, the steam room and thinks that nature guys going in there. I'd go in there just to socialize, because that's why all the cool guys were trying to lose weight to

make weight. How unhealthy you think this was? So when we were in college, it was in the old gym and they had an upstairs wrestling room and it was a three walled little room and the mat was there, and the wrestlers to cut weight to make sure they made weight right, there was a there was a it was padded and at one point on the wall the pad opened and there was like a hole in there and that's where it was steam heat, remember the old

steam heat things that they banged when or whatever. Those guys would go in there with their sweats on in this little cubbyhole to sweat to cut weight. And I'm going, now, how healthy is that? Hey? I was, But that was the way they did in wrestling, right, weight watchers. I'm

sure I've told the story weight watchers. We're paying the coaches when they had the challenge of the overweight coaches shell parcels read God, there's a few of them that that they said, Okay, we're gonna have a weight watchers challenge and whoever loses the most weight they get something. I don't know what it was, but these were all

the NFL coaches. So the first game I played, regular season game Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night, if I'm not mistaking, nineteen ninety, Parcels had been coming into the steam room with us with the players as we're trying to make weight. He's trying to make weight for weight watchers so that he can win the contest. So he's in there with us, and when you go in the liquid diet, then does a that could be a problem if you don't do it correctly. And he ended VALI was on a liquid night. Yeah,

but you were getting carbon right. Well, he ended up getting the stones really and he had to pass a stone before the game. He passed the stone before the Philadelphia game Sunday night, nineteen ninety. So that's that's the I learned a lot about liquid diets at that time. You know, I didn't have I didn't need it, but you know, big guys like that they needed and board

he paid for it. We had with the guy that was the captain of the wrestling team when I was in college in my freshman year, he was on our floor and the night before weigh ins he'd be walking around spitting. I've seen that before. I've seen that before. Yeah, I don't even know if that makes a difference. I'm pretty sure that makes no difference at all, Right, I mean comar, I should have known that when I was So here's some more you guys can laugh. When I

was in June, you're high. They we had a track team and then we had they divided us up to heavyweights and lightweights, right to buy size, so you had a chance to compete. Right, So I was obviously a lightweight, right, so they they we were at a meeting, lightweight, let's go right, might weight? Right, we got we got to him, we got to we got to a meet. We got to a meet, and we had to do our highting

weight and there was a formula. You're you're you know how tall you were and how much you weighed to get So for some reason when they when they measured me, I was two inches taller. It's like, what the hell four eleven didn't I didn't grow So there I there, I was trying to you know, make weight. Yes, why were you want to liquid diet? Bill? Because because he was having way too much fun in college in Oklahoma. Had three two beer Oh yeah yeah, drink yeah yeah yeah,

that was disappointed. So anyway to not bring down the house. But you know, I remember that summer when the Cowboys were in which Ta Falls when Corey Stringer had the it was a hot heat stroke, right, and that you passing away right? I mean, and this was training in Minnesota, right, And here we were in in which the Ta Falls were the afternoon practice when they were practicing in past twice a day. It's one hundred and fifteen degrees and the humidity was high and the wind was blown. It

was like you were in a convection of it. I was working with Doocey at that time, doing some some training camp work. And who's Doucey? Yeah, this guy, we caught him the deuce, you know, he's a little local guy here. But no, we were we were having found I brought my ten speed, you know, and that was wi you were getting ready for a hundred I don't know what they called every day every day? Yeah, I mean you could. You could easily nap for three hours.

That's why they there was. That's not a nap, that's just going to sleep. There was an Air Force base there and they were training pilots. And one of the reasons they picked there is because which top Falls had the most sunshine days annually in the year that it was always clear, right, there were no clouds, There were no clouds, right, and there were no trees. There was

no relief. But ever since in which Falls, every year in August they have the hotter hundred Yeah, yeah, all right, So bring it back to Cowboy's Chargers on sun get out of Junior High and Uh, all right, here's a question to pose of the players that the Cowboys will be missing, and do you have an update done anybody and anything new today? As much as I can give you, Yes, So, um Niseki's out. Um. Donovan Wilson has not practiced yet.

Sore Groin McCarthy said his availability depend on what he can do tomorrow because today is kind of their walkthrough. Tomorrow they have a light practice. Uh. He does it a little different than the other teams. Usually the light practices on Friday. Saturday's a walk through. Uh. If he doesn't do anything tomorrow, then he's he's not playing. Uh. Same thing with Demante Kz the other starting safety. Uh, he's got a bruised thigh I believe it was, and

he was put on limited yesterday. So that's going to depend on what he does. Um, trying to think, um, and then the Gregory issue. And then Gregory as Jerry he said when they asked him, does he have a chance to play? And he's got and he back to the Zach Martin deal left to Tampa, right, and Jerry put it this way because it's like slim and none. Yeah, so he goes, yeah, he's got about a NATS ass chap,

that's pretty right. Yeah, And so he's like no, no, no, no, no, no, not that small because Douglas looked up what's what's what's the dimension of a NAT's ass and it's one ten thousandth of an inch. That's the Nats. That's the NAT. So the ass is like, yeah, probably small. So it sounds like they're probably without Gregory. Now. The good news is it also sounded like, Um, Malik Hooker is ready to go. Um. He didn't say yes he's playing, but he said he's had a really good week of practice,

had a good week last week. He was inactive. So if they've got a safety problem, I would imagine Hooker and Jayron Curse are the starters back then, so physically nothing's wrong with Hooker. No, he just needed to get in shape and get back into playing football after missing so much time with the ruptured achilles. Uh. Brandon Knight looks like he will be the backup swing tackle with

Insecki out, and they really didn't have another choice. So and I guess the other thing in an emergency, you know, Zack Martin could always move out there if you if you need me. But with Night taking the place of Niseki, then they'll have their eight guys. You got to have eight offensive lineman to be able to qualify to bring two guys up off your practice squad on a game date, so you would keep Farney up Farney center, and you

would have to keep obviously McGovern's your backup guard. So yeah, um, I think that's and then they put de Marcus Lawrence on injured reserve. But they only with doing that, they only had fifty two on the roster. Now they got fifty one, so they only have to have five guys inactive, and it's hard to find five when you need everybody healthy, you know, as many as you can to put together the forty six game day roster. So they still have two spots, yes, on the fifty three available right with

the Marcus going on right. See the other part of that is we'll see what happens started next week. But you know, with all the COVID protocols and so forth, to get say there's a player who's a free agent right now that they want to bring in, they can get him into where he's passing the protocols to be ready to work whenever they go back on the fields.

And they basically they still have five days left for that because it's a Monday night game next week, so their practices for the Eagles really won't starting to if you're needed to fill somebody that's not already on your practice squad. Right, So, uh so you see what happens in the game on Sunday, if there's anything else that happens, and then you make I mean, it depends on where they've been and if they've been with a team, and

if they've been vaccinated. So I would imagine one guy comes up off the practice squad again is sprinkle the tight end so they have three of them, and then they probably would pick somebody I would think just for special teams purposes, and you know, maybe it ends up being Ralston or the other guy that would have a

chance is Ian Bunt Bunting defensive end. Defensive No, no, he's a tight end, right, Yeah, sorry, So maybe I don't They wouldn't bring both of them up, but one of them for sure, and then just kind of see for special teams. And that's why I mentioned Ralston could he could help. Noah Brown's ready to go. He's on the roster. Yes, So they'll have their five receivers because Fijoko would be the fifth. There you go, he's in there as right, and Cedric Wilson would take the place

of Gallop in the starting lineup. So yeah, a lot of roster shuffling, and you know, this is life in the NFL. I'll tell you what the cap was. I think they're geared for it, especially on the offensive end. Of course, we got plenty of backup there. Cedric Wilson coming in. I don't feel any problems with him coming in, big target, yeah, get down the field, knows how to catch and run. Feel good about him coming in. But defensively, man, that defensive line with d Logue on Durance is feeling good?

D better be feeling good because this is the big chance, right because I would imagine, um, you know, a defensive end, the full star guys. He'll start for Lawrence Armstrong and Basham Terrell Terrell Basham and then you got the pups after that, Bradley and I and Izor Kamara and then Gholston looks like he's ready to go. Although this was the way Mike put it though, this was his first week of practice in pads, so I know ever since we drafted him, I want to see what he do. Yeah,

and so will you have a chance to play? This was the way Mike put it was this was his first practice in pads since Iowa. What think about it? Because he got hurt before, he got hurt doing the the conditioning test in training camp. So to answer your question, no, he's not playing this way, So maybe not if you play this week. We got real problems and you know, and Azure Kamara could help him on special teams. That's kind of what caught their eye. And then yeah, he's

got a nose for a special team. You got a note he's one of those guys. And then you got the linebackers, and I would imagine, you know, Mike, let's do you want to get into them When we come back here, I'll come back and talk linebacker snaps. When we come back You're on mix shots in just a moment. Honey, big news scary? Are you? Okay? I'm not Gary anymore. I'm Jackie Flash. What see? I want the latest smartphone,

Yes, the big one, Brian Bulaga. They're starting right tackle with a groin and back injury. Did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and looks like he's not practicing on Friday because they placed him on injured reserve. You said you just saw, so they'll be playing a backup right tackle and they list.

The backup there as Storm Norton. Do you remember him? I do not from the Honeymooners. Hey Norton, okay. And if it's not and if it's not him behind talking about behind them behind the starting left tackle, their rookie Rashawn Slater. His trade Pickens the third So you either get a Pickens or a Norton. That okay. Also it's slim Pickens. Yeah, they're very good. And I'm sure the Chargers aren't laughing about this. They've got a dB out as well. They've got two right now. Uh, Nasir Adderlie,

we talked her cousin, cousin, nephew groin. He hasn't practiced the last two days. And they're starting cornerback Chris Harris Junior with a shoulder has not practiced in the past two days. So we'll get their injury report. Uh, probably after we finished the show, because two hours something's gonna happen. So maybe some news will happen regarding them rather than us. And they had a couple other backups that are d NPT and their kicker, Tristan Vscano is limited with an illness.

The Cowboys had him in here for Tristan Vscao. He was with them for a workout or maybe in the last year in spring or something. I remember him coming through here anyway, So yeah, they're not in good shape either. Okay, all right, So of the players that Cowboys will be missing on Sunday, which player will they miss the most? I think they can compensate for Lele Collins now that Zack Martin's back, because now you got Martin to help

left and right. Okay, Um, I think missing Lawrence really hurts, and not just pass rush, but also his ability to play the run. He kind of plays the run violently. If you saw the fumble he created that Gregory Gregory recovered. But I think, yeah, I think I think him. I think as did you ever since said I think Wilson can do a decent job at the other wide receiver spot. Um, but yeah, I worry about that way law just man handled that offensive tackle shucked him out. He didn't just

shuck him, he just chucked him out. And that guy is supposed to be pretty good. He was pretty big when he first round Picks was pretty big too. I mean just the way he just threw it to the side, came in he knew exactly what he was gonna do. You know, he saw that before it even happened. And so when you anticipate making plays like that, that's something

that you just can't teach, you know. I'm sure Randy Gregory might have the ability to do that because you know they're in that mode because they've done so many outside rushes. Ken Dorns come in and have that same type of mentality. Hopefully d Lock can get into his head because as he as he shocked him, he came in immediately with the fist and caused that fumble. And you talk about Violet, he punched that thing either real hard. I don't even know what running back could have held

onto that. Yeah. So when you come from the side, Yeah, so you said, uh, so here's what's going to happen. I think they're gonna have to use more linebackers. Uh. Mike McCarthy when he did his morning interview with the Guys on the Fan comes on in case everybody wants to listen to it at six thirty in the morning on Friday. Okay, got that he mentioned he mentioned that, you know, every week you have to have a five

man pressure. So I think that's kind of alluding to Blitz's maybe how you line up and the hybrid personnel. They talked about it, and so here comes Jalen Smith and Layton Vanderish. Michael Parsons, I told you guys the other day when they were doing position drills, he wasn't with the linebackers. He was with the defensive line. So you don't want and I'm going to get into stopping the run at defensive end, but if you want a pass rusher on the outside, you can, you know, you

can put him there to create some pressure. And the hybrid defense, it causes confusion, right, It's just hard to figure out as a quarterback, what do you do be the d lineman who's going to be the linebacker after the ball is snapped? And McCarthy always talks about unscouted plays like they're things that you don't know the other team's going to do because it's early in the season, and and basically spoke about unscouted personnel, like how do

you different use your personnel? So I think dan Quinn just has to be very creative in this game to create pressure because if they don't get pressure on Justin Herbert, they're going to be in trouble. This guy is awfully good. We don't try to do it the day they tried to do it against Brady, but he was very good at protection protection. I don't know how good Justin is is, and he might not. His recognition might not be as

great as you know. Brady's probably seen every blitch you think of, like Donovan Wilson, Like Donovan Wilson coming and he hits Gronkowsky's short changing. He did win the academic h yes, I did see that, the Campbell Trophy absolutely, and he stayed his extra year too. There you go in leave early. He got him another year. Screw. I don't want to hear you. Could you could think about your trophies and your academic awards all you want, and that big guys coming at you, you're gonna be crapping

on yourself. I'll also point out Drew Henson was a valedictorian in high school too, So there you go. There you never hear them, so so anyway, they've got it. They ended up after Week one one of only two teams that didn't register a sack. That can't happen again someday if they plan on winning. Who was the other team, I believe it was Green Bay. How things turn out for them in that game and turn out so well, and once again guys and gets five. We can we can.

We we could offset so many things with turnovers, right, we just have to make sure that whatever we fail at that we suc compensate. Yes, we succeed at another category. And those turnovers can really help kept us in the ball game. And yes it did. So what do you into to pay? The snap count's gonna be for the linebackers this week. Let's say let's say the Chargers run seventy five plays on offense, So what's going to be the distribution? Well, they go three wide all the time

like they did, That's what I don't know. But they've got the question. They've got tight ends that they certainly can use. Jared Cook And then who was the guy Donald Parham Junior? He's six eight yep. I have to ask you how does how is Cook ending up with so many different teams when he is extremely Somebody keeps the signing him, right, I guess he's going he's following

up him. We can remember the pass he caught. It was a twenty fourteen Green Bay kie sixteen was twenty six tacks bookie Okay, yea, yeah, when he caught it sliding out of bottles to send him the winning field goal. After he was just with the Packers for one year and then twenty sixteen, just enough to make that catch. Yeah. Then he goes to the way. There's no saints, yeah, I mean just he just keeps falling the pill, but he's there. And then so there are other tight end.

They go two tight ends. Those are pretty two big guys and talented guys. One of them is talented Jared Cook. Okay, what do you think he runs? When when he came out of College of South Carolina, what do you think he ran? I saw him play. He looks a sneaky four seven, four or five. He ran a four or five at the combine. That's why he's so affective, exactly.

And you wouldn't you wouldn't think that when he was Okay, he was coming out of college, six five, two hundred and fifty four pounds, ran a four or five flat at the combine with a forty one vertical. And he has looked now like nobody fat. Yeah, and so you wonder how a guy like that six or let's see, he was third round pick in two thousand and nine at a Tennessee or or by Tennessee with the Titans

two thousand and nine, two thousand and nine. So they also remember how bad the Cowboys draft was in two thousand and nine. He could have gotten Jered Cook the team with Jason Witten back, your plan is butt off. So they also at wide receiver Mike Williams six four, he's the one that said he really enjoyed watching the game. So the cow he said, looked like Tampa Bay's wide

receivers were having a lot of fun. Really, yeah, that's what kind of like Terrell Bashim what he said about Brian belonging or it does no good now because blog just went on I R. And then there are other starting wide receiver Allen Keen Keenan Allen. He's there, he's there, he's six two. So the point McCarthy was saying, with the height of their receiving corps, it's fifty fifty balls there. Even if you're covered right, they're open because of how

tall they are. So so getting pressure on Herbert's going to be very very And that's sixty six and he's six six Yeah, but he's six, so coming up the middle won't mean jack right. You gotta come from the outside and you better hit him hired because he was two sixties. Yeah, he will lock in on a receiver at which he did on his interception that he threw

last week against Washington. In fact, it was one of those tight ends Stephen Anderson, who was lined up more of like an h back or fullback in the backfield. It was a semi wheel route, but actually it was it was down and out and he the cornerback, was in a zone and came off and made the interception because he was had his eyes open. Yeah. I was gonna say that yesterday. I was going to mention that this is another game where the dbs have to have

the eyes on the quarterback. I mean, you just have to. You're gonna have to anticipate what the plays are. I remember what made us successful back in the eighties. We gave up some plays, of course, but we always knew what the bread and butther plays were for the other team, and that allowed me to play for that. So you know when they're going to run it, you know what part of the field they're going to run it in. You know who they want to run it too. You

know what the splits are gonna be. So once you recognize that I'm jumping something, you know I'm looking for that. Once you show me that, that's the confirmation, I'm gonna go for that. And that gives offenses pause because if this is what I like to do and I'm going to continue with that, this guy just picked that off, you know, so it makes you think we have to go do something else. And once you make them do something else, then you have the advantage as a defense.

I've got a list of things that he's accomplished as a rookie and so far maybe most impressive. He and Patrick Mahomes are the only players to ever total at least forty five hundred yards passing in their first sixteen starts. First sixteen starts, and he's only like, I think, like three hundred and twenty seven yards away from five thousand, and he and Mahomes would be the only two quarterbacks

to do that so early in their career. Yeah, because he only had fifteen starts last year, right, so he was at forty three hundred yards last year and he passed for three hundred three forty three thirty. No, he went three thirty seven last week, so which gets him up over forty six hundred. And he's been very good on third down, that's the other thing. And that's the most dangerous down third down passing touchdowns since twenty twenty

in the league. He is tied with Tom Brady with fifteen to lead, and he's hit and his third down passing for first downs, he's got eighty five and that is the most since the start of the twenty twenty season. So this guy, it's really good. Gill was right when we talked about it yesterday. Adds a rookie with thirty one touchdown passes and only ten interceptions, Yes, and that usually comes a little bit more evened out, right with people like this score? Yeah, yeah, with you absolutely with you,

all right? So how do the Cowboys score against the Chargers? And what is our score on Sunday when we come back on mix shots. At Smoothie King, we are blending goodness to fuel your grayness. fandom go beyond the game? The NFL Fan of the Year Contest, presented by Captain Morgan is back and we're launching I'm sorry, relaunching the sees the search for one extraordinary Cowboys fan who is a positive influence and inspires others through their love of the game. Nominate yourself or others for the chance to win a trip to Super Bowl fifty six in Los Angeles, where the Cowboys are

going to be playing. Somebody nominate Dallas today, I'm sorry, nominate today at Dallas Cowboys dot com slash Fan of the Year. And Spittle goes with that read all the time. See it ain't that easy, all right, Yeah, Mustard on the man, That's what got me. Yeah right, all right, big football weekend coming up? Who's Grambling? Got Grambling? I don't know, all right, we'll wait from tomorrow. They got Prairie View, right, yes they do. That's the one I'm with.

I'm doing the press conference by the way, on Monday before I come and see you guys. All right for what for Grambling game? Let's try the Cotton Bowl a week from Saturday. And Missouri's got this week Southeast Missouri State guaranteed win, right the better be By the way, Grambling State has Houston tomorrow. Whoa up city, Let's go baby, Let's go Tigers Grambling. I assume they're playing at Houston or we always playing? He always playing the big the

big stadiums. We never go for that. And in the big fifty year reunion game, right, that's right, got the Sooners and the Huskers and a lot of am tomorrow. Yeah, fifty years after the Game of the Century, saw a guy at a convenience store on my way here. He has an Ou shirt on, and we reminisced about five thirty one. Jeff Kenney scored the game winning touchdown for Nebraska. You know, in nineteen seventy eight, Missouri did Oklahoma favor

because the Grasca beat Oklahoma. That because Billy Simms fumbled at the three yard line, one of seven fumbles lost by the Sooners that they were going. He died with everyone. Nebraska finally, that's why you had to go. That's right. Nebraska finally was gonna win the Big Eight title because they finally beat Oklahoma and they had to win the last game of the season home against Missouri. And guess what, Missouri beat them by thirty five thirty one as James

Wilder squaws the winning touchdown. And think about this. Back in the day, the newspapers used to do these pictures like frame by frame by frame. So the Omaha Paper had it frame by frame, and he he broke from about the eight yard line three tackles, and the last one he gave a forearm shiver to their all American safety to score. Right and and Missouri beat them thirty five thirty one, nineteen seventy eight, and they had to do a rematch in the Orange Bowl. Oklahoma comes back

and beats Nebraska. Pounded them, which they should have done the first time. They hadn't fumbled seven times they've been playing. They were just distraught because yea, Billy Simms won the Heisman Trophy. All right, let's talk about Sunday. Oh, first off, Yewboys are not in last place in the NFC East, right now, that's right, that's right. The New York Giants thanks to an off side penalty encroachment. Uh is is I hope so? I hope his mama loves him, that's all?

Or somebody went home with him. He was going to block that thing, man, Okay, going for it right through the a game glory car oh gosh, and uh so, but what a game? How about the the two Thursday night games, Tampa Bay beat Dallas thirty one twenty nine. Washington beats the Giants thirty to twenty nine. And actually

I will look back. I think the four best games so far were thirty one, twenty nine, thirty twenty nine, Kansas City Cleveland thirty three to twenty nine on Sunday, and then you throw in the Monday night game, which was in overtime. The Raiders beat the Ravens thirty three to twenty seven. So before you pointed all that out, I had my score written down here. I have something to twenty nine, right, twenty nine is the magic number, and which is such an unusual number I know for

a final score. Well, that's if you have crappy field goal kickers. All right, So who wants to go first? I'm first, man, Okay, I'm first. You want me to my pick the click? Good, pick the click, pick the click. I got Zeke. Ah, you know when I got Zeke. I got Zeke because we're gonna keep justin off the damn field. We're gonna run the ball. I don't think we don't want to really pass the ball as much

as we did against Tampa. I think we're gonna give Zeke his chance, whether it's run the pass, We're gonna put the ball in his hands. We're gonna control the clock, but yet we all going to lose this games. M hm, that's right. So my score as thirty five twenty eight would not be leaving anything up the field goal kickers from now a week ago. If the fourth and six, we're going for it. So we're going for all touchdowns

or nothing. All right, what do you got? Well? My pick to click was Zeke also, but for a different reason. I see where Washington rushed for one hundred and twenty five yards against the San Diego Charters. Now they're the Los Angeles Charger. I knew I would do it. He was concentrating so much on Washington's name. That's right, the Chargers name on the Los Angeles Chargers who, by the way, the new stadium there. I learned from Jerry Jones this morning, Sofi Stadium. He was born in a house a mile

and a half from Sofi Stadium. The owner Jerry Jerry was Yes, he was born in California. Was born in LA That accent is not I don't think he lived very long. So anyway, with Zeke running the ball and since the Cowboys have not won a game without scoring at least thirty points since the game fifteen of the twenty eighteen season, I am taking the Cowboys thirty one to thirty. Whoa, because they will have to score thirty points if they're going to beat the track. So forget

that twenty nine crap. I'm okay, and I'm gonna go twenty nine twenty nine in overtime. And then we go to overtime and Greg Zerline is going to kick the twenty nine yard field goal to win the game thirty two to twenty nine. My to click, You would think it might be Greg Zerline thanking that, But my pick to click is number eleven. Micah Parsons. Good pick. Michael Parsons will come off the edge and get at least one sack, maybe two sacks of Justin. They won't know

where he's coming from. Justin f Why I never picked against the Cowboys, but I did this year because it's a strategy and we're gonna ball out after that. So here we go, slow starting and get going right, all right, and we got a minute left. So about a mix shot to close it. I'm gonna put you on the spot there, here's a mix shot. We got some music, Chris Beam, Here we go. The best quarter. I gave

you my best mix shot. We'll give it again. Jerry Jones growing up a mile a half and he will be on the NFL Network pregame show because the NFL Network is right next door to Sofi Stadium. So don't miss Jerry's live appearance on the pregame show fell Network, and don't miss Dak Prescott on the CBS pregame show the NFL today. I understand that he did a little interview earlier this week and the game is being carried on CBS. Tony Romo, Jim Nanson, Tony Romo, nice and

so there you are. You're all set for the games. He's gonna love this game. Tony's gonna love this game. All about the QBS, Yes, through great quarterbacks. He loved talking about this game. Yep, that's right. And Mickey's gonna be there too. Yes, Okay, if all goes well and we talk about it on Monday at one thirty here on mix shots and go watch it at the Miller Lighthouse and the at and T State's right as well. All right, we'll talk at you again on Monday. Go

Cowboys say yeah. This has been a production of Dallas Cowboys dot com and the Dallas Cowboy Always Football Club
