We won the bye week, and now we move on to the Packers won the bye week. We ever lost the bye week? Look at the playoff. Everybody doesn't return. Oh we went to Cobble and lost the bye week. Yeah, well that's the we did, which is exactly what they need. And that was a playoff game against the New York Giants. And history has repeated itself in a different way this week because a New York Giant went to Cabo and

lost the bye week. Xavier McKinney took a guided tour Extreme Extreme a TV tour and hurt his hand and his extremes. Several reports he broke stream. But it was guided. It was like a stream. That means that you following idiot, right, that you two extreme, so extreme you following media social media post McKinney posted it was a guided tour. That was that supposed to minimize and it shows he wasn't.

It wasn't his fault. Yeah, it wasn't being reckless, right, it was the guide's fault and he broke his hand. Ever were weeks and by the way, the Cowboys have the Giants on their schedule here in just a few week two two and a half weeks away. Do you ever see that area where they take you on those a TV A whatever they are. There's nothing safe about it, right, I mean it's like going what if it's guided though, I don't care. He's showing you in and out. It's

like going to the sand dunes. You ever been to the sand dudes? Yeah, my my my nephew took my sisters and they had the ball. Yeah yeah, they were like so my sisters very not very emotional at all. But I've never seen her like I guess they were airborne. I don't know. Well I did it and I wasn't the one driving with the passenger. Yeah, and I didn't feel very safe, whatso well? Nah? win the bye week. The Giants did not win bombs. Yeah, but they're still six and two. They are six and two. The Cowboys are six and two, and they're healthier than the Giants were when we have the tiebreaker, and that six and two is starting to look better because now there's only two teams in the league better than six and two. How about that? A lot of six and two's now, lot of stuff starting to level off now.

So the only teams better would be the Eagles at eight no and the Vikings at seven and one, and the Cowboys have to play both of them, all right. The breaking news in the NFL today, Yes, Frank Reich out as head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. Oh boy, that didn't take long. Come nope? And who's in this? Just out? Just just breaking right now. The Colts are naming their former six time Pro Bowl How many did Peyton win Pro Bowls? I mean that more than that,

it's not Peyton, manny. They are naming their former six time Pro Bowls Center and ESPN analysts Jeff Saturday as their interim head coach. He has been a consultant for the team, is in its ring of honor and also head coach for the Hebrew Christian Academy football team in Docula, Georgia. Man, come on, guys, you can't marry it up. What is happening? Jeff Saturday is the new interim head coach of the India. So he was doing TV analysts, but he was a

consultant for the Colts. He was a consultant for the team. He has well. Adam Schefter's tweet says he has been a consultant for the team. I don't know if he currently is or oh wait wait so they just stay in the past. Hey, Jeff, who do you think we should hire? Man? You know we just five out? What do you think? How about me? Hey? Who? You? Who? You know? You consultant consult us? Who should we have?

Also gonna check Max Preps and see if he currently is the head coach at Hebron Christian acad I mean in Georgia. And I'm thinking that now that you look back at the last couple of weeks, that maybe it wasn't Frank Reich's idea to start Sam Ellinger at quarterback, and it wasn't his idea to fire his offensive coordinator. Marcus Brady had that work out on Sunday, It's it got worse. Yeah, twenty six to three Patriots with Allinger Eller Allinger. Yeah, you gotta

win a game before you with that offensive line? Yeah too, maybe just stay you think he was on the sidelines coaching arms cross right, just kind of standing there like okay, oh right, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'd have felt better if they had named Peyton Manning they hit friend. Yeah. I mean, when I'm reading the tweet,

He was asked of he's voted, and he goes, no,

but I got to. He goes, my mom's a history teacher and tells me I need to vote, And they go, yeah, when is that? And I'm going, oh, tomorrow. Don't let your mom hear you saying asking that question? If we're gonna step up, if this guy steps up his game with what we have going on, that would be something that's really good for the Cowboys because, you know, as we're having these issues trying to stop the run, you know, you would think that if one person just he is able to make an adjustment, yeah, that would be good for the whole team. So I'm hoping he would be one of

those guys, even though he's a rookie. That's a lot to ask for a rookie, but he's just got that accountability and expecting big things in the second half of the season from him, and the producer Supreme confirms it's a need for Sam Williams. So so that would be the key thing this pass. James, just get how's James healthy? James James Washington. I saw him out there. I think that they could possibly start his practice on Wednesday. He

gets a couple of weeks to ramp up. It's three week, three week, twenty one day window, and so you're looking at what you're looking at there for him, that would give him the week after Thanksgiving right for twenty one days if he started him on Wednesday, because Thanksgivings two

weeks from Thursday. Yeah, And so if he would be Jef Saturday's Indianapolis cut, right, he could either be ready for Thanksgiving because that would be two weeks of ramp up, or you say, all right, just miss Thanksgiving and then you got ten days before you play again. So it would be at the latest Indianapolis. But then that by then they'll have Odell Beckham Junior. Right. I saw it

last night. Yeah, man, we got the palm palms. I think there's a few factors that have to be figured out, and he wants a long term deal whatever he signed, right, how does I think he's twenty nine? That sounds about right. I looked it up yesterday. So if he wants a long term deal, the short term is how many games is he gonna play? Like? When's he ready? Is he ready the first of December? That's what they're they're making it sound like first of December. They were thinking mid November.

Now they've pushed it back to first of December. So does that mean he doesn't have offers yet? Number one? Does that mean he's game ready or he's good to practice? Because he hadn't practice footballing ready? He can he can put videos on the internet. That's what he's And then number two did the same thing and then went to one practice with the Saints and number two how much

does he want? As a matter of fact, happy birthday, Happy belated birthday Odell Beckham Junior, who on Saturday turned thirty years Although, well you were right for just a few days. Um, how much does he want? No? One addresses that and the Cowboys this year? I mean, how much does he want for this year? By the way, to play five games or four games minimum? Right? It's whatever he's minimal kidding for this year. That's why he

wants next year factored in, right, be exactly. That will raise the anti uh and the Cowboys right now have seven million dollars available under the cap, and you gotta finish the season, right, can't exhausted on one guy. So I'm sure he's looking for guarantees. You know, forgive my ignorance, but back in the day, you know, we've heard of you know, the highest paid players relinquishing some of their salary. Are we able to do that with any of our players?

I don't think they do. The agents would allow that, do They don't do that anymore, not during the middle of the season. No, Well, Brady has done it though as far as just his his contract, he's he's been playing for less money than what he could command. But if you another, I was determined by the beginning of the season, determined during his contract, wasn't It wasn't something that happened, right Yeah, No, one says, you know what, why don't you just take five minutes right right right now?

Brady has Brady's been well, he doesn't need the money, and he's been smart enough to bill you always in players, he don't need the money. His wife's making a well he may need it, she may have to pay him. I don't know. He yeah, he made so he could just say, hey, I just go ahead and send that to my next wife receiver. I'm going to be signing. But he's seeing this year how much he needs other players around him, how much he needs piece of mind. Well,

that's really when it comes down to it. And that's what I saw last night. I saw a piece of mind last night. We threw that touchdown and as By too was like, man, I thank you for both of us. You know where you saw the peace of mind was the postgame press conference. He said something next Hill, Yeah, amazing, it was awesome. That was awesome. Who says that about their own performance? Brother guy who was relieved, extremely relieved.

I'm thinking he man about the win, not about his No, I think I think everything all right, let's not get this day is important. So and and then the other thing they got to engage or gauge. I should say, how does he fit in the locker room? Is he gonna come in here in big time everybody? Or is he gonna fit in I think he's I think he's over that, and I'm not sure. Yeah, you can see from the Rangers. I mean he kind of fit in. Yeah, Well, he's learned that he can be, you know, a little

bit put off. He can be, he can you know, right, be a little bit how can I put it, just just to take he got that takeover mentality, and I think he was able to be more humbled in the Rams locker room. And having someone like Aaron Donald there has a lot to do with that. We've got the same kind of guys here in this locker room there. I think there would be enough couple guys to say, hey, I think I think he fit. He and Dak would get along well. I think he would probably make it

a point. He's a veteran now, he would make it a point to get along with his fellow with teammates, especially his wife receivers. And then there's another factor. The Cowboys aren't the only ones that might be interested in him, right, There's other teams that will up the Annie and they're thinking more next year than this year. Casey, by the way, the Chiefs could use him, well, the Rams, everybody. I mean,

it's no secret the Rams want him back, right. And then the other factor is, and you guys know this as well as I do. All of a sudden, there's a source, right, Well, the source is his agent, because he's out there. This is his marketing time, right, And if the cowboys are interested, then well everybody else better be interested, because you know the cowboys. And that has

happened so many times. If I was a PR person for a beer company, I say, you know, there's his study out there that beer kindly helps you know when you come to work, you know what. So yeah, and that has happened. And I've seen it so many times, especially back in the nineties when they knew that cowboys would you know, pick guys up, pay them, and all

of a sudden, somebody's available. And when we find out from a source that the cowboys are interested, and then I go, asked, so so and so you guys interested, It's like, no, we hadn't talk to nobody, so we heard where do we get that from? Agent is putting that stuff. So I'm not saying that's what happened, but it happens. And I'm thinking this timetable for his return got pushed back to December in large measure because of this kind of season the Rams are having right now.

It's like, do I really want to go or do the Rams? Are the Rams sitting there thinking, Okay, are we right now? What are we? You know? And why are we bringing on Beckham? If we're three and ten by the time he plays, and right now they're three and six or three and five, whatever they are, I think they got to Packers need him, yeah, and taking him he with him being the veteran wide receiver, I think that's tough for him at this time of his career. I think he's a guy that can be added to

a team. Like like when I played, I wasn't gonna be able to head up the Cowboys secondary at thirty plus years old, but when I went to the Giants, I was the one little piece. I just needed that piece. Beckham is that guy. He's not gonna lead a team in catches at this point of his career, but he will be that guy that can add a spark to a team that needed that number two receiver. And that's good that number two receiver or even number three. What

if he's number three, Yeah, that's not bad either. You know, you're talking pivotal position and pivotal part of the game parts of the game, So uh, he's that guy. He's not the guy that's gonna come in and I'm gonna lead this team in receptions and carry you guys in. That's not who he is right now. That's why the humility is there for him now. That's why his total status right now. Well, his mindset is I'm gonna go in and add and blend in with this team, not

lead them anywhere. And you mentioned the Packers. Okay, well, what's the record now for the Packers? Three and six, three and sixth day, five straight games and two the Giants, the Jets, the Commanders, the Bills, and the Lions. And if you looked at their schedule coming up, starting with the Cowboys this week, I didn't go further than who they lost to in five straight and three of those

five they've scored no more than seventeen. They've got They've got Dallas this week and then m Thursday night against I was for some reason, I was thinking of Thanksgiving because it's a four day I know they're the Thursday before Thanksgiving against Tennessee and then they play at Philadelphia. So their next three games against three pretty good teams, so they could be sitting there three and nine by Tenda Thanksgiving. Yeah, right, and so on the other hand, Odell,

he's got a history with the Giants. Okay, another reason you wait until December. Where are the Giants going to be here in three weeks? You know? And that's so it behooves him and his agent to wait it out and see because he could have more teams that are interested in his services. Yeah, because if you're on the verge, you're going, Okay, I'm willing to try to get this right now. And you look at the Giants. The Giants play Houston, Okay, they're six and two right now. They

play Houston, you'd think that's seven and two. Now. Detroit did beat Green Bay their home game against Detroit, Okay, but they had a good shot at being eight and two coming to Dallas and Thanksgiving. You know, I even like the lower level teams right now. It's like, well, they're still playing. I like them, They're playing their asses off. Yeah, I like them, all Texans, the Lions. That was I

I just heard an interview with him on a serious NFL radio driving in and where that it started a few weeks ago where one of the veteran players, maybe Christian Derris, saw their tackle, uh gave him a chain after one of their wins, gave him a chain to wear on his way on the plane ride home, and so it's

become a gradual thing. So this game, uh, everyone was giving them our chains to wear on his and so he took his shirt off and he had the chains on and everything. So when we talked about corterbacks getting too much playing, that's that's that's a good time when you you know, get showing some love. Did you see he broke the team in the locker room after the game down and then after the game and that locker room he broke the team huddle as you like that? Now?

Did he have two chains? Okay, that's a good one too. I got I got you, I got you. I don't know if he's into them. I'm not either, but I heard somebody somebody say made a reference the guy only had one chance. I'm catching all of this this morning. I got you. I like, got to have two chains. Two chains. We got two Vikings next week, yes, absolutely, Now the Vikings got Buffalo this coming week. They're at Buffalo Buffalo feeling this morning. Yeah, that's the other thing

we see. We found a weakness in Buffalo's team, that offensive line you know, they are not a weakness than every team we're fighting, guess. But at the same time, that's what you want to play to. You want to play to your offensive line. And the teams are the winning they're playing to the offensive line and allowing them to do the work, which is what we're doing. Hey, was Josh Allen throwing the ball a couple of those picks? Well, okay, let me take that back. I we blame it on

the quarterback. And clearly there was a receiver. There was a receiver. They are a Here's here's the thing, guys, regardless of how mistakes are made, you want to force them into making them. You don't give him a chance to reload because the pressure was there. You see, there was there were moments where, uh, when he does the rollout, some things that nature, he escapes the pocket, there was someone there to make sure that the damage was minimal.

And then you keep doing that. You make them make the hard drive every time, use up all your plays. You might have a chance to beat a very good team if you want, you you know, predicted to do that. And that's why I like solid defense. You're going to force them. I don't care how good they are. You're going to force them into showing you their weakness and they will be supplied when it happens. And okay, great

segue to Tampa Bay in the Rams yesterday. Okay, and so here the Bucks are they are just minute, just thirteen to nine games. Okay, they get down there one time, they can't do anything. They're able to get a stop, get the ball back. And what does Brady do on that last in the last forty seconds. Took advantage of everything they gave him, and they gave him everything, gave him the sideline. Well, really it started on offense. I

just didn't like the play calling from the offense. Yeah, yeah, just the way they kind of just they just leaned into the loss. They leaned into the loss. I didn't like the play calling. But they're coached by Sean McVay. He's so intelligent. At that time, it's almost like he just gave up on it. It's like he played it safe, and he never plays it safe. He played it safe. I'm gonna let the defense win this game for me.

And I don't know whether this defensive coordinator was thinking because he didn't hear that, Yeah, we're not going to win this game. We're going to give up the game. So somebody was on the Tampa base got no timeouts left, and you just give him. I was left four or five hours. Break, get out of bounds and matriculate your way down the field in eighteen seconds. And there it is. The Rams are gonna look at the things that they didn't do last night. You know, I'm a Jayalen Ramsey fan,

but I'm also Jalen Ramsey critique. I saw a couple of times where he could have won this game and affected this game in a positive manner. There was one time where the biggest play down the field, the slot man did a skinny post and Brady hit him for about twenty yards. If you look at Jaalen Ramsey on that play, he was lined up over that slot receiver. He never touched him. He never reacted to the play at all. He thought Brady was gonna throw it to

the check down, so he was pulled up. He jumped it. He didn't jump it. He maintained ready for it and the guy went right behind him. Easy called, easy play to make. He never touched the slot man. That's a veteran, and that veteran made a big mistake on that play and he missed the interception in the end zone. So these there's going to be things that the Ramps that did not do that they're gonna say was the reason

we lost the game. And there was another quarterback yesterday that was running for his life almost the entire game was Patrick Mahomes. Yeah, their offensive line and that and that's that shot the bowl and that lost and that was the offensive line that they read Richard right last year. Yeah, that's right. And he was throwing the ball from every which angle a quarterback can throw it. I mean, you credit Tennessee on that. I mean, there is not a team in the league. It's got to be the most

underrated team in the league and just has them. They play a hard nose Mike Vrabel style. Smart, that's right, that's right. And they're tough, yes, you know, and their front is tough and they can get to the quarterback and do what they did last night, and that gives them a chance, even with a rookie quarterback to win the game in the end. Now they didn't wind up winning it, but winning coach, you what's that? How close has he come to winning? Coach? You gotta go a

little ways. Still they're five and three right now. No, I just mean it because his history, because he's had some oh i'll see what you're saying, surprising seasons to where get into his team. Yeah, you know what I mean, because they clearly they play over their heads to me, and this quarterback couldn't. I mean, they didn't want him throwing the ball more than he played well plays that got him the league. I mean, Derrick Henry gets him the league. But that's what I mean, right, but they

you understand what you have the ball? To your point, it's yeah, and that is what is across the league this season. That is how games are being won. And that's what Green Bay is going to try to do against Dallas this this week. Yeah. And unfortunately for Tennessee, you go into overtime and Kansas City kicks the field goal and now you know the kids got to play quarterback. Well, let's be real, if Patrick Mahomes doesn't do what he did with his legs, then Willis is gonna win the game.

He's gonna be the winning quarterback with five for sixteen for eighty yards for the rookie third third round pick. Yeah, and so you know, I gotta give it to Mahomes. You know, his postgame comments are just always so crazy, but uh, he put it on the line last night. He was he was did as much as justin fields as he could do last night, and it was the reason they won the game. It wasn't just empty yards. I really enjoyed the football that I saw yesterday. And

once again, Gino Smith the Seahawks. How Pete Carroll, how is that this team is pretty dog on, cool man and into running the ball. I mean they got that rookie running back. He acts like he's still at Michigan State. He's just bawling. You had they he throws a pick six, Gino does, and they come back with like two long drives. Your answer, I mean, like thirty team played drives that answered the pick six. Man. That's football, now, that's just football.

It's not about oh, this guy's a star, this guy's a star. I've always been to guy about team. I grew up under the Cowboys. We all we never had just one star when I was going up, We never had just one star. We had a team full of star. We had a team. Larry Cole he was a star, but he was our star. He was a start for this team, right, because so you expect a team. I always expect the team win. The Seahawks have a team.

I love it. You know, we were last week bemoaning the fact that the Bears ran for two hundred and forty yards against the Cowboys. Yeah, but if they do against Miami and the quarterback ran for one hundred and I want to say, was it one hundred and sixty? It was one st eight sixty eight and he had the sixty yard touchdown run. Now this is this is so you know what, they did a pretty good job of holding him. Will only get better. The Bears were only get badly at the end of the season. Everybody's

gonna be afraid to play them. Field said, fifteen carries, one hundred and seventy eight yards, sixty one yard touchdown and how many touchdown passes did he throw? Two? Three and but for only one hundred and twenty four yards. Wasn't for the yards per attempt four point four? What do you call that? That's a long handoff. It's just a long handoff. And that's how they're playing ball. They're just having long hand No negative plays, that's what they're

looking at. No important. Most importantly, how many fantasy points? Did it? Right? Forty seven? What does that mean? That's a lot? That's a lot.
