S1E7 - Rex Halfpenny - Michigan Beer Guide

We talk with Rex Halfpenny in this interview from A Rising Tide Archives.  Rex and his wife Mary founded Michigan Beer Guide, a publication devoted to Michigan Beer in 1997.  His voice and urging was a catalyst for the formation of the Michigan Brewers Guild later that same year, and he served as the Guild's first Executive Director during the inaugural Summer Beer Festival.  Fred talks with Rex at Motor City Brewery Works in Fall of 2018.  Rex and Mary are now Happily retired from 23 years of self employment publishing Michigan Beer Guide.
