Episode description

Three Things I Learned from My Father:

1. Strength isn’t always loud.

My father taught me that true strength often shows up in quiet sacrifices, consistent presence, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

2. Your word is your bond.

He lived by integrity. If he gave his word, he kept it — whether it was a promise to family, a commitment at work, or a vow to himself.

3. Love is shown more than spoken.

He may not have always said “I love you,” but you could see it in the way he worked hard, protected his family, showed up, and gave without keeping score.

Always be there for your children

Always advised me to stay out of trouble and live purposefully.

Rest in peace, Pops (Ernest Mante Sr.), you did your best for your family.
