Show #514 - The Whole Law Description

In this episode, we look at Galatians 5.3 and discuss what exactly is going on here. The traditional interpretation by the main stream Christian Church is that Paul is instructing the Galatians that they should not even think of becoming physically circumcised. This view contends that Paul is attempting to state the Pharisaic teaching of circumcision so the Galatians will have nothing to do with it. Yet, this interpretation does not line up with the rest of Scripture.

We go to give a different interpretation, one that even Messianic and Torah observant believers seem to have overlooked. This interpretation helps Galatians 5.3 fall nicely into place within the entirety of the book and line up with the Law of God and the “law of Christ.”
