The Allagash Abductions

In 1976, four men went on a camping trip in the Allagash Wilderness of Maine, where they had an encounter with a strange bright light while night fishing on the lake. Twelve years later, two of the men began having disturbing nightmares in which they were being examined by inhuman beings in a strange place. All four men soon found they had repressed memories of an alien abduction. Were these men really abducted by aliens on that night? Was it a shared hallucination?
