In this episode, Meg talks with Lydia Banton about Lydia's journey through systems that expected her to operate at "super human" level, which ended up wreaking havoc in her personal life and disrupting her ability to do her best work with her clients.

About Today's Guest

Lydia Baton, LMHC, LAC is a licensed mental health counselor who grew up in military and moved to Indiana in 2001. Her first degree is in music education because of her passion for music and teaching others. Later she studied marriage and family therapy, addictions and mental health because she enjoys looking for the root cause of issues and resolving them. She also enjoys singing and helping others in the community of Indianapolis.

Education: Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling, Indiana Wesleyan

Specialties: Trauma (EMDR trained), Dual diagnosis with severe mental illness, mental health assessments
