Post Peak Oil Global Awakening. Social Media on ubiquitous internet and suddenly there is a global human awakening against neocolonialist governments of the a fading US hegemony.
Most of humanity is now informationally activated, socially conscious and politically interactive. There are only small pockets of humanity in the remotest corners of the globe that are not aware of the socio-political strife so ubiquitous in the world today.
We live in an cyberpunk age in which mankind is developing a Hive consciousness to an unprecedented degree, and it is this condition which is fostering international turmoil.
That turmoil is from political awakening- vast masses of the world are no longer politically neutered, as they have been throughout much of recorded history.
When the People become Hive Mind, they are a powerful global force indeed.
