In this episode we take a look at the 7th battle/scenario in the base game "Vassieux Vercors". This battle took place in a mountainous region of France where the resistance was very active and had a lot of support from the locals. The Germans bombed and then invaded the area but the resistance fought back! In this episode we focus on the fifth scenario from the base game ( with Air Pack Expansion ) "Omaha Beach". This battle was an extremely bloody one for the Americans. Many a good man died on this beach. This episode focuses on the fourth scenario from the base game of Memoir '44 which is called "Pointe du Hoc". This battle was not so much a beach assault as a cliff assault, and the scenario reflects this.
