A team desperate for a win after a month straight of losing against a team that is looking to continue to match the Lions continued win streak in hopes of keeping the North still in sight. Our Vikings are back to playing a Sunday afternoon game against a banged up and struggling Jacksonville Jaguars team. With 1st overall pick Trevor Lawerence likely out and a few additional Jaguars offensive starters this Vikings team should be able to put up 30 plus points on their way to a sizable win in Florida. The penalties were cleaned up but the turnovers returned .. and now we are experiencing some missed kicks from Will the Thrill. That being said excellent coaching, strong second half play, and this resilient and confident Vikings team got back in the win column on Sunday Night Football.
Back to back prime time games as our Vikings host the 4-4 Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football. It is looking like Hockenson is all set to return and we are hopeful this defense will return to its first 5 weeks roots and get to 39 year old Joe Flacco at least a handful of times. We believe this team is legit and it's time to prove it with a dominant home win on prime time football to the rest of the world.
Officiating was part of the story but not the whole story as our Vikings looked SLOPPY, unprepared, and tired on this primetime matchup. Rams look to have started a little resurgence and we need to refresh and shake out the kinks on this mini-bye before starting our three game stretch against a very winnable AFC South. Another primetime game coming up on Sunday Night Football and we gotta show that the Vikings are legitimate contenders.
A short week for our Vikings which is a good opportunity to take this loss taste out of our mouth ASAP. A struggling Rams team will host our Minnesota Vikings for our first primetime game of the season. Tough loss to a very strong football team of the Detroit Lions at US Bank Stadium to fall to 5-1 and second in the NFC North. This team is good and there are negatives and positives to take for sure. Lions are without some key defensive players and our Vikings will most likely be without Aaron Jones heading into this huge NFC North division matchup. A great Lions offense will be up against a great Vikings defense and we believe it's time for this Vikings offense to take another step forward and put a stomping on these Lions!

Our defense carried this early morning victory with three turnovers and three sacks and another PICK SIX from Andrew Van Ginkel! The offense struggled, especially Sam Darnold, but this is a TEAM and the offense will be ready to pick it up if the defense struggles in the future. Our Vikings travel across the pond to "host" the New York Jets in their final matchup before their bye. A solid offensive scheme that eats up a lot of clock should be enough to maintain our undefeated streak. SAM-TEMBER finishes 4-0 as our Vikings put up another 30 points offensively to produce fourth win of the season. A rather ugly fourth quarter put some fear in us Vikings fans, but still never gave up the lead and our Vikings remain undefeated while continuing to beat good football teams. SKOL baby!
The number one rushing offense goes against the number two rushing defense. It will be interesting to see how our Vikings defense stacks up against the running ability or Mallik Willis and Josh Jacobs. Our Minnesota Vikings have their home opener this Sunday verse the arguably the best team in the NFC, so we will need to be on our A game to keep the wins coming. We have some things in our favor such as 30+ straight years of home wins against the 49ers, having an extra day and a half of rest, and the intel that Sam Darnold will offer us after his 2023 campaign with the 49ers. Our Minnesota Vikings are hoping for greatness (or at least above expectations) for former 1st round and unproven quarterback, Sam Darnold, as well as, former NFC North rival, Aaron Jones. This Giants team is very beatable, and as long as our Vikings do the little things like establishing the run, winning the turnover battle, and getting in the endzone at least three times; that should be the recipe for starting the season with a win.

A very new defense this season for our Vikings, but in all the best ways. Former Texan Jonathan Greenard has big shoes to fill with the farewell of longtime Viking Danielle Hunter. The belief that Greenard is a younger, faster, less expensive, just as productive defensive end. Vikings also got experience with cornerbacks such as Stephon Gillmore and Shaq Griffin to comp well with young talent that is expected to continue to grow with guys like Ivan Pace Jr. and Josh Metellus.
