Episode description

With Kaisu Koskela, Postdoctoral Researcher/Anthropologist

Kaisu is a long-time digital nomad, and currently also an academic researcher of digital nomadism! Originally from just outside the Arctic Circle in Northern Finland, she has had itchy feet since the previous millennium; from bartendering on the Greek Islands, to working as a hairdresser in London, to teaching English in Nepal and doing fieldwork with tribes in Tanzania, she somehow found her way to the ivory tower. Her current role as a postdoctoral researcher for Radboud Univeristy combines her passion for location independence, learning new things, and discussing how to make the current nation-state-centric governing model more accommodating to mobile lifestyles.
