Dottie Roberts, EdD, MSN, MACI, RN, CMSRN, OCNS-C®, CNE, is Editor of MEDSURG Nursing, the official journal of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, and is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nursing Instructor at Walden University, in Lexington, South Carolina.
