Episode description

This meditation is designed to practice "Non-judging of inner experience", the 5th pillar of the Five Facet Mindfulness Meditation Questionnaire, used in the scientific world to measure self-reported mindfulness of subjects (https://bit.ly/3kbNTgp).

We often judge ourselves based on what we are thinking and feeling. This may result in being too hard on ourselves and blame ourselves for the feelings we have.

This meditation encourages us to notice our inner experience, label as thoughts and emotions, but not labeling it as good or bad. If we label our inner experience to be good, we often desire it too much; and when we label it as bad, we become averse to it. While the root of our suffering is from excessive desiring and aversion.

If this meditation has helped you in any way, share the experience with your loved ones!
