Passion Into Purpose - Mikal Hicks-Black, DO

This week I'm excited to share my conversation with one of the best clinicians I've had the joy of spending time with. Dr. Mikal Hicks-Black is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist located in metropolitan Philadelphia. As a lead clinician, Dr. Hicks-Black covers various inpatient units within the hospital where she manages patients from diverse backgrounds with intricate trauma narratives and complex psychopathology. She genuinely feels she turned her purpose into passion, and feels blessed to work in communion with the families and children that walk her units.
