MedHeads S01 EP01

MedHeads is a show hosted by Dr Ferghal Armstromg, who is a practising GP with an interest in drug and alcohol addiction. 

MedHeads provides a forum in which contemporaneous issues can be discussed by various guest speakers who are all experts in their field.

This week we have two very special guests, Maree Eisma, a mental health social worker, and Ian Bunston, a community partnerships officer at Box Hill Central.

In this episode, we shall be discussing the need for social connectedness and purposeful activity and their role both in alleviating suffering in general and also in escaping the shackles of addiction.

We touch on subjects including the rat park experiment, the role of suffering and joy in life and we explore Ian’s programs at Boxx Hill central. Including “coffee with a cop.”
