We were honored to be invited to Riverside Methodist Hospital to talk with Dr. Janet Bay and Nate Jennings about the current trends in stroke care and stroke recognition. Dr. Bay explained what causes a stroke and how Ohiohealth treats these patients.
We also discussed the Advanced Stroke Life Support class that Ohiohealth offers to prehospital as well as hospital clinicians. This class is offered in partnership with The University of Miami and covers patient management, pathophysiology,and current trends in stroke care.
