‘In the shark’s cage’: Easing wage pressures and increased regulatory burden face LTC operators

The good news for nursing home operators is that while salary raises may remain higher than normal in the near future, their rate of increase is dropping. However, now federal regulators are complicating things with new overtime rules.

More pay transparency laws also are popping up around the country — but that can actually be a good thing for the right providers, explains Matt Leach, a senior consultant with Total Compensation Solutions, in this installment of the McKnight’s Newmakers Podcast series.
