Every year at about this time, Gordon Orr shares his predictions for what might happen in the Chinese economy in the year ahead. This year, among several forecasts he makes, Gordon looks at what the Chinese leadership is likely to do to maintain the economic growth it needs to keep factories running and create enough jobs.

In this podcast, Gordon joins Nick Leung and Joe Ngai for a conversation on what lies ahead for China in 2017.  Gordon is formerly a senior partner with McKinsey and is now a senior advisor to the firm. Joe is Managing Partner of McKinsey’s Hong Kong office. Nick is Managing Partner of McKinsey’s Greater China Practice.
