Jim graduated in 1997 from the Saint Louis University School of Law. Since 2007, his practice has been devoted to immigration law. He launched Hacking Immigration Law in 2008 and his firm has grown to over 30 employees and helped thousands of individuals obtain their immigration benefits. He is the co-founder of Maximum Lawyer. He and his wife (and law partner) Amany Ragab Hacking have four children. In 2009 and 2013, the Riverfront Times named Jim the Best Lawyer in St. Louis.
