Episode description

Companies know that their products have risks and vulnerabilities.

But the major caveat here is that FIXING these vulnerabilities isn’t always cost-effective.

Automotive companies simply don’t want to invest upwards of $2 million dollars into closing these gaps.

The frustration of the developers lies in knowing the vulnerabilities that exist without the resources to address them.

For the developers, the benefit lies in getting real ECU’s to be used in the vehicle.

This allows them to do much more hands-on testing when it comes to car hacking.

This can provide amazing benefits to the developer to help close those gaps in vehicle security.
