Episode 178: Mr. Parables

For our final episode in our unnamed series about Jesus-centric films, we watched Martin Scorsese's controversial classic, The Last Temptation of Christ. In the film, Jesus is portrayed by legendary actor Willem Dafoe, depicted as a man struggling with both the human and divine natures that dwell within Him. Martin Scorsese intended for the movie to spark discussion about Jesus, who He was, the nature of Christianity, and how it affects our daily lives, and we do our best to honor that with a deep discussion about the film, which is a true cinematic achievement, and easily the best movie we watched for the series.
