Canisha Cierra Turner is the true definition of extraordinary. This firecracker is the proud daughter of Cornell and Elnora Turner of Waverly, Virginia. She has been on stage since the age of 2 and enjoys motivational speaking and all things media and entertainment. She is a 14 year pageant veteran, having competed in natural, semi-glitz, and scholarship pageants. She has competed on all levels: local, state, national, and international.

At the age of 10, she became the print model for Van Sciver Photography. She is also a baton twirling champion and studied at Deborah’s School of Dance during her early years. At the age of 18, Turner founded Shining Stars Illuminating the World Baton Troupe, a mentorship for young girls ages 9-13, that teaches life skills while incorporating the skill of baton twirling.
