Blockchains promise to revolutionize our lives in a big way, simplifying many of our daily administrative chores and making things like wire transfers super cheap and fast. There are countless applications for blockchains, and they will probably change the internet as we know it. If you've never heard of blockchains, you'll probably have heard of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, which are all based on blockchain technology. Blockchains are the backbone of any crypto token.
